"The room was quite spacious, with enough space to open our luggage. However, the surroundings were incredibly, unbelievably noisy! This is by far the loudest and most awful hotel environment I've ever stayed in. Often, around 1 or 2 AM (seriously?!), certain groups downstairs would play incredibly loud music and make phone calls. The front desk was completely unhelpful and seemed not to care at all. The front desk staff rotates; some were very mean, while others were okay. For such an expensive nightly rate and the extra taxes paid, the service simply doesn't live up to the price. Besides the entryway, the main bedroom area has no overhead light, only lamps. It's fine during the day, but it's too dim at night and strains the eyes."

"The AC Hotel Downtown Los Angeles was a really pleasant stay overall. It's one of those hotels that's more minimalist, clean, and practical. The biggest plus is definitely the excellent location. Being downtown, it's super convenient to get everywhere, whether it's tourist attractions, business districts, or exhibition venues. Getting around saves a lot of time, which is very friendly for independent travelers. The room itself followed a simple and clean aesthetic, nothing too fancy, but it was tidied up very comfortably. It's the kind of place that makes you feel at ease, without feeling cramped or dated. The public areas were also kept very clean!"

"This hotel, with over a century of history, has witnessed the golden age of Hollywood cinema. Its Renaissance architectural style, complete with murals, crystal chandeliers, and colorful ceramic decorations, along with warm and attentive service, made for a very pleasant stay. The front desk can provide bottled water, and there are communal water dispensers on each floor. The in-room coffee machine was a practical touch. The room itself was very large and spacious. For convenience, there are several Japanese restaurants, a Subway, and a Starbucks nearby. The subway is within walking distance, but most of my travel was by taxi."

"Pros: The location gets full marks – right in the city center, very close to Union Station and Angels Flight, making transportation incredibly convenient. Cons: 1. No parking available. You have to find street parking, and the nearby public parking costs $25 for half a day. 2. Luggage storage is only available on the check-in and check-out days. For example, if you go to Vegas for a few days and then return, even if you have a new reservation, you can't leave your luggage here. They say it's due to limited space. 3. No self-service laundry facilities. Despite the minor drawbacks, the hotel is very new, and although the rooms are small, the facilities are very smart and comfortable to stay in. The bed is just the right firmness, the shower water pressure is excellent, and the hotel provides 24-hour hot and cold water. The breakfast offers great value for money, and the staff are enthusiastic with a good overall vibe!"

"The staff were nice and accommodating. They helped us extend our stay without any problems and Jorge helped us arrange our shuttle going to the airport. They have a restaurant and a garden. It is near the metro (about 3 blocks from Historic Broadway and 4 blocks from ) Civic Center/Grand Park) which makes it accessible if you’ll travel without a car. It is also near 7-eleven and Japanese supermarket. The room is spacious and the cleaning staff were helpful in maintaining the room’s cleanliness."

"The biggest advantage of this hostel is its location in downtown, which makes it very convenient for getting around to other areas. However, being located downtown can also be a drawback. Once it gets dark at night, it’s not a good idea to walk too far outside the hostel. I’m not sure exactly where it was coming from, but I could constantly smell ********* around the hostel and near the elevators. Despite the building being old, the hostel itself was very clean. Unlike a typical hostel, it feels more like a hotel that has been converted into a hostel. There is a shared bathroom for each room, but please note that no amenities are provided at all. There is also no hair dryer. On the first floor, there is a fairly large and stylish lobby. In the basement, there is a small shared kitchen with a few tables in the same room, as well as a small room where you can work out. There are no coin-operated washers or dryers. The staff were friendly."

"The room was nice and offered a good view of the Sphere. We also caught a show in the evening. This hotel doesn't have a casino, so you'll need to go to other hotels for that. The facilities are very new, and you need a key card to go up to the rooms, indicating strict management."

"It was conveniently located just a few minutes walk from Crypto.com Arena. The room had a bathtub, but the bathtub was extremely shallow, so it didn't feel like I was taking a bath. The hotel also has a coin laundry and accommodation costs are low, so I think it's a good base for traveling. The street just north of the hotel feels deserted, so I think it's best not to get too close to it."

"I had a wonderful stay at The Wayfarer Downtown LA. The location is excellent — close to restaurants, shopping, and many popular attractions in downtown Los Angeles. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The room was clean, stylish, and comfortable, with a modern vibe that made the stay feel relaxing and enjoyable. I also loved the rooftop atmosphere and the overall energy of the hotel. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and convenient. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Los Angeles!"
