Main Street Station Hotel, Casino and Brewery

The effects of Covid can still be seen. Like the Triple 7 hours. But, most everything else is back like it use to be. Which is very pleasant. Especially with a diminished number of smokers. As usual, every one we dealt with was helpful and friendly. We're looking forward to being back again.
Four Queens Hotel and Casino

First trip to Vegas after wife passed last August. Chose this hotel because it was the first place we stayed downtown. We had been coming to Vegas for many years and started to stay downtown. We have stayed here many times over the years. I checked in at 5:00 about on July 31 and stayed to August 4th. Check-in was fast and easy. The employee at check-in was ok. I spoke to 2 other front desk employees during my visit. Once to get a boarding pass printed off. Lin I believe was her name she was excellent and very friendly fun to talk to. Also at check-out at 3:45 AM. Another very friendly person considering the time. Check-out was simple. Food: Ate both at Magnoils and the Chicago Brewery. Had breakfast at Magnolis the food and service was great. Chicago Brewery was also excellent. Had Chicago Dog is was excellent. The bartenders were very friendly and fun to talk to. Loved being able to play video poker and eat and have a few beers. Very pleasant experience. Beverage service: Not a big drinker, but the severs were excellent and friendly. For me they came often enough. Table Games: Did not play much they seemed friendly what I observed. $10 and 15 table limits. I was there during the week. During the week table games close from 4AM to 8AM. Room: I was on the 5th floor by the elevator. Nice and close. I was on the quiet side, which is nice, but did not matter to me. Room had a coffee maker. One of the 2 elevators were out, but could use the service elevator so it did not make that much of difference. I did not have any real issues. My floor was very quiet and did see hardly anybody. When I arrived my room was very clean and did not have any housekeeping come into room, Did not feel it was necessary. The housekeepers I ran into seemed friendly. No issues in my room everything was great, beds were fine. ****** itself was clean for the most part, and the service friendly for me. A variety of machines new and old. I did not sit at either of the bars. My observation was people were having a good time. I had a very pleasant stay considering the situation. It was difficult without my wife, but the friendly staff helped. As everyone knows of course no resort fee and 4 Queens' is right in the middle of downtown. I would stay here again if I decide to return. Thanks again to the staff.
Hampton Inn Las Vegas/Summerlin

Summerlin
The surrounding environment is good, it is a well-equipped hotel but the facilities are outdated, because the price of the weekend booking is relatively expensive. The clean room bedding is good and comfortable; the breakfast variety is almost not suitable for us, especially This price is not considered for the source of the customer. The hot water provided in the lobby is the coffee pot boiled water or the hot water with coffee taste. This is a blessing or unfortunately you are #128517; Many chairs have already ”painted maps”, and it is hard to imagine that this is a hotel managed by Hilton Hotels.
California Hotel and Casino

I used to stay at the 4Qeens have also visited the Plaza nothing wrong with those hotels. When I first stayed at the California it was because everything was booked that was in 2018 I believe. Since then I have stayed repeatedly it's like my new home away from home. Thanks to phenomenal staff, decent rewards and you gotta visit the club desk and ****** host. My husband has won 2 hand pay pots and I typically hold my own. The dining between Market Street and the Garden Court Buffet meet our needs. I do hope the breakfast buffet returns to Market Street I miss it. Ethel M is one of my all time favorites and Lapperts has great coffee and sweet snacks. I do have one request gluten free options throughout the dining would be nice just some bread would be an improvement. I also miss having coffee in room and complimentary bottles of water. The fridge in the room is fantastic. The rooms are not to big nor to small we book 2 Queens because I'm up all hours. The beds are very comfy once I did have to rotate my bed because it was slumped. The bathrooms are totally modern as is the room with a big flat screen tv. Slots can be greedy but they can also be generous so not much different from other ******s. I love how spaced out slots are as I often rent a scooter due to sciatica. I want to emphasize the staff from the people cleaning to the wait staff and drink waitresses along with security and check in desk are all just so nice. The bell desk and club rewards staff and hosts have always treated us very well. We will be returning for my birthday in August 2022 and looking forward to it. I highly recommend giving this place a try it may not be for everyone but it's a fun place with good food options including a steakhouse I may try this visit called Redwood.
Golden Gate Hotel & Casino

The room is small, but it is clean, the parking lot is not easy to find, it takes a few laps to find it, cross the road in the parking lot at the gate, and use the hotel room card to pay no parking fee.
Golden Nugget Las Vegas

Booked 3 nights at the Golden Nugget because I was curious what their Spa Tower suites were like. I didn’t want to stay near the ***** (that’ll be for another visit) and the price was pretty decent considering the size of the suite. The suite floors are only accessible via a card you use in the elevator. Ended up getting the very last room on the floor which I preferred since I didn’t like being in between two other suites. View from the 9th floor was great but obviously not the best since you can’t see the *****. The room itself was clean and felt luxurious but a little dated and aged. There were a few minor details that could have been addressed before I got the room; a couple burnt out vanity mirror bulbs, wobbly desk etc, no real dealbreakers. I didn’t gamble so I can’t comment on the ******. Not really into the pool scene either but it was always pretty packed and busy whenever I passed by. Food was good; ate at the Chart House restaurant located in the Golden Nugget. The big bonus I guess would be the ability to walk straight out onto Fremont Street and take in all of the craziness that goes on there. Would definitely love to go back and stay there again but I also want to experience other suites in Vegas.
