Premier Inn London Angel Islington

Gurdy and Emma were the most friendliest and helpful people. They are amazing and make your guests feel very welcome. The rooms are immaculate and loved my stay. The food was very hot and tasty. It was also great value. Would definitely come back and stay.

Very convenient location for the Angel Islington area. Rooms seem to have the new look Premier Inn style which is less functional than the previous one that is common elsewhere in the UK. Long rectangular work desks against the wall have now been replaced with a small round table. Have you ever tried to operate a computer mouse on a round table? There's nowhere to put it. Similarly, the square bedside tables have been replaced by tiny round ones. You lean over in the dark to put your watch or phone down, and it falls off where the corner should be.

I found this hotel tucked away in the Angel Islington but close to all the amenities and location I needed for work. It was just what I needed for my overnight stay. Quiet, safe and comfortable. I arrived and showered, had a tea and watched TV. It felt cosy and safe so that I slept well and was refreshed for an early morning start the next day. Just what I needed.

We really enjoyed our stay in a lovely comfortable spacious room. The staff were very courteous and helpful at reception and the bar and restaurant. We would definitely stay again if we’re going back to London. The hotel is in a very good location.

Premier Inn, you get what you pay for. This hotel is tucked away off a lovely high street with lots of indepent shops. We had a lovely quiet room but didn't have any windows. The bed was nice and comfortable. Breakfast buffet in the morning was good standard and variety. Would def use this hotel again if we go back to Islington

Clean, comfy, lovely staff. Breakfast lovely, Alina, the chef, made me lovely poached eggs. Reception Georgie and Emma were fantastic. Excellent location. Convenient for angel tube and lots of bus routes. Quiet as set back from the main road.

Excellent reception staff and breakfasts provided by Reka, Emma and Georgie the chef. I will be at the Premier Inn at Dyce in Aberdeen later this month and hope it is as good! Swift and efficient check in, friendly staff and available to answer any questions/ queries regarding the district.

Wouldn’t come back to Premier Inn. Came for 4 nights and the heating was faulty in our room, boiling hot all night. And we couldn’t sleep. They gave us a fan which moved the hot air from one side of the room to the other, a joke. The hotel was full and they couldn’t move us to another room until the next day. The new room was ok, just 24hrs with very little sleep. I complained to reception on the day and I writing afterwards. I referred to the famous Premier Inn pledge where they guaranty a good nights sleep or you get your money back. Clearly a false marketing slogan but when it comes to the crunch they don’t stand to what they promised. So sad that Premier Inn lost their touch and isn’t what they used to be. They won’t see us again I’m afraid.

We stay here a couple of times a year as a family. Excellent location, always clean, never had any issue in the past. We love it. Tube is close, loads of places to eat, excellent high street and a little shopping mall and cinema to the side.
