I am writing this review on the last night of our stay. My 4 year old and I stayed in a silver grade caravan. Which was modern and immaculate. There was a comfortable living area with a gas hob, an electric oven, and a full sized fridge freezer. There were two bedrooms. On master with enquire shower room and a twin bedroom with direct access to another separate bathroom. There was lots of space and storage and we were very pleased at how comfortable our stay has been. We ate at the on-site restaurant every night. I'd recommend booking as it does get very busy. Food was a decent pub grub standard and cooked freshly. My little girl enjoyed every meal. And every child eats for a £1 with each adults main meal, which is handy on the purse strings. I wouldn't recommend the onsite chippy as it seemed very expensive for what people were getting. This is my first experience of a Haven site, and it's smaller, I believe, than a lot of other sites. It was perfect for my daughter and I. Lots of onsite activities. Some of which you had to pay for and others which were free. The staff were all lovely and especially the entertainment staff, who my wee girl loved. The swimming pool was a little chilly initially, but you soon warm up after a splash around. The shop was a little more expensive for some items but generally fair. Allows quite expensive in the entertainment shower, but most places like this I think that's to be expected. There are quizzes and bingo in the evening and then usually a magician or singer. It's pretty good fun for family entertainment. The local beach was good to explore too. We went for a day in Edinburgh. Took a taxi to Longniddry and then a train. Only around 20 minutes altogether, which was fab. One last thing. The site itself was very well kept and lush with greenery. It's very quiet and peaceful for a relaxing nights sleep too. I'm sure this won't be our last trip here, and I'd absolutely recommend it for families looking for a nice break in lovely surroundings.

We have visited Haven parks for years since I was a child and I now take my own children. I usually always have a great time, however, this year was different. I would never visit the Seton Sands park again. Myself, my mum and my sister booked our holiday back in Feb for May this year. The day we booked we selected our caravans as I have 2 young children and wasn’t sure if my partner would make it due to work so wanted to be close for support. We also still have young kids that nap and so being next to each other allows us to sit outside together while they napped. I then got a phone call 5 weeks later to say that the caravan I had chosen was no longer available and they didn’t have any others for the same price all next to each other. I then ended up paying £115 in total to upgrade all of our caravans to be next to each other in a different area. When selecting the caravans on the map they looked as though they were straight across from each other and the third one to the side. However, when we arrived they were nothing like shown on the map and ours was actually a few down and we could not see ours from my mums or sisters. We went to reception to speak to them about moving. A member from the experience team said he would speak to head office and give us a phone. He tried to phone 10mins later, due to signal I missed the call and no voicemail was left. I phoned back 4 minutes later to be told he had left reception but they would ask him to phone when he got back. We never heard from him again the full week we were there. The caravans being different from the map meant I was left alone in mine every day while my baby napped and once they were both in bed at night. We then went to the Boatie Blest restaurant the next day for dinner. We were there at 4:30pm and the restaurant was empty. The member of staff told us that they weren’t currently taking walk ins as there was only 2 of them working due to being short staffed, there was no mention of this on the app or when arriving etc. Had the restaurant been busy we would have understood but it was empty, it then meant there was 10 of us (6 adults and 4 kids) having to sort somewhere else for dinner. We had the chippy the previous night and it was undercooked and not great so we didn’t want to go back there. There were a few other issues while there such as cutlery not being cleaned, floors still with crumbs etc so overall it was not a great experience. I did raise a complaint about the caravan placement and restaurant, however, received a generic reply today without so much as an apology. The photo attached shows the map when selecting caravans. The one highlighted is ours, the two circled in black were my mum and sisters. However, when we arrived ours was much further down. In their email reply, I was told the map is just a guide and doesn’t actually confirm where the caravans will be - this is not made clear at all when selecting, my sister used our code so that they could choose to be nex

First visit to Seton Sands wasn’t sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised!!! The staff, especially the entertainment staff, were really good and made it special. Only small issues, the toilet hadn’t been “flushed” so obviously not cleaned from previous occupant and I’d paid extra £20 for a towel bundle and only receiving 3 towels. I went to reception and explained at first I got a blank look and was asked if the issue was it because we had not hand towels in the bundle, because people stole the hand towels that was reason they didn’t included them 😂 But the staff did give us an extra 2 bath towels……my advice take own towels 😂😂😂

Overall a nice location, with good all day entertainment for kids, some good outdoor play areas and set in a nice locations. Service was quick, plenty of staff and plenty of activities to get involved in. We found prices to be reasonable and although we booked a few paid for activities, the free daytime entertainment was pretty good for kids. Few things could be improved, we stayed in 13 carnoustie drive, we booked a silver accommodation and a high chair and bed rail, the bed rail wasn't provided and we had to call security to bring one, net was so loose we didn't use it in end. We also didn't have a hairdryer so had to call for one of those. The caravan was not the best, it was clean but was suffering some wear and tear, a cushion was burst but still left in the living room ( better to have one less cushion than a burst one) the curtain rail fell down twice just closing the curtains and the oven didn't work well. Not major things but could be improved. Friends who booked silver two bed ended up with a gold caravan with dishwasher in Kingsburn and I would book gold and that section in future. Also, there is a dumping ground between carnoustie and the main complex which really needs tidied up. Overall would recommend particularly for families with kids. Unlike other reviews we found the complex to be busy but not overly so for any legnth of time, we could always get seats and there were always people leaving and joining at different times, it's a tightly packed hall though, warm and loud (all of which we expected tbf).

We've just checked out from the best Haven Holiday we've had so far ❤️. We will be back to Seton Sands 100%. An amazing small friendly park, immaculate condition. Friendly helpful staff everywhere, and in the area, our little boy is only 18 months and was perfect for him. Limited acitivies from other haven parks we have visited but we don't actually like spending all day on the park so this suited is fine and wad an amazing base for the local area and activities. Entertainment staff for the children's activities were superb. Pool immaculate and constantly being cleaned. We checked in, staying in Kingsbarn 19, amazing area, tranquil and quiet. Upgrade to the gold caravan you won't be disappointed. The only issues we had was the kettle wasn't nice (needed descaled) but the team rectified this within 15 minutes with a new one. Fabulous facilities in the caravan. On site, there is a Cooke's fish & chip shop, don't bother it's frozen stuff. Jump in the car and go 5 minutes along the road to Longniddry Beach to Alandras. Best fish and chips ever with a view. On site Beltys Best I think, was OK, just the same as a wetherspoons, just ok for the price but did a job. Shop needs an upgrade but had everything you needed & nice to see co op produce stocked. Port Seton is a 20 minute walk along the front. Local co op there. Nice butchers too for local produce, not a lot else to see. Don't go to the chinease, new harbour view, crap. OUR BEST FIND ❤️ - Dalkeith Country Park, we went twice 😂. The best place. Fort Douglas £3 per child/adult to get in. Unreal facilities, jumping pillows, wooden Fort adventures, double swings, etc etc. Walks galore, beautiful cafe and shop. 15 minutes drive from Seton Sands. Go to North Berwick, worth a look. We played on the beach in the centre for hours, free parking in the centre. Must go to Alandras Gelato ice cream, lush ice cream. East Links Farm Park in Dunbar, 25 minutes away. Not worth the cost and dated. Gosford Bothy is a farm shop 5 minutes down the road with amazing local produce and delicious scones! All in all the holiday was made better by the area too, but a great base to plan your trip, hope these recommendations help someone else have the best time. Thank you Team Haven x

Got a good deal for 2 nights, so thought we would give it a try. Booking was easy and haven kept us up to date with any pre arrival info, we downloaded the app, which was helpful. The touring section is at the back of the park in its own little area but with the same main entrance to the park. The pitches were a great size, and I believe all fully serviced. We never used the swimming pool and only went into the arcades for a little while . The girl working in the kiosk was lovely. Like all these sites, be prepared to have inflated costs in complex. Shop had everything you would need, but as previously mentioned, it's quite expensive. There's a decent sized coop along the road, though. Lads in the shop were also lovely. We really enjoyed our stay but wouldn't pay the normal prices for the touring area. Everyone around the touring area was really friendly. Unfortunately, the toilet block is not the best, and Haven could do to address this... just portacabins in disguise. 3 tiny showers that must leak as floor was soaking and 3 toilets in the ladies and men's much the same. Also could do with speed bumps round touring area and drop the limit to 5mph. Loads of kids having a great time on bikes and scooters and cars zipping around is not a good idea. Will go back again despite this but not in main season.

The short holiday was fine even the sun came out....But the one place n ot to go is the fish an chip shop , very over priced for pre frozen battered haddock , the chips where cooked hours before and were Cold, the best place is the inplace restaurant, which looked very very Good.or catch the 26 bus to Port Seton ,,your choice, so you can't see the Prep you are asked to go outside and wait for poor Quality Take Away....

Had a good week with my husband and son but there was a few bad things. We stayed in a silver caravan in Archerfield, our check in time was 2pm-3pm and we eventually got the keys at 2:55pm. When we got in the caravan the heating had been left on high, it was so hot inside! The WiFi doesn’t reach to the vans, only get WiFi in main centre, some people might love that though but you get Netflix on the tele and without wifi it wouldn’t work. Pool was ok, temp was a little cold. It was busy and they decided to close the other pool and just keep the one side open. Second time we visited they had closed the slide and again only one side of the pool was opened. The showbar fills up so definitely arrive early even if you don’t want to play the bingo first, people will arrive early and not leave until late, so if you want a seat then get there. Book up for the restaurant too if you want to eat there, always fills up quick. They had ran out of a lot of options on the kids meals too. No apple/orange juice, no popcorn chicken. Only peas left on the veg option. The toilets in the restaurant weren’t the best either someone definitely needs to keep checking on them. Fish and chip portions are a bit small too, I’m not sure if everything is cooked to order but I was outside for half hour waiting for the order. Caravans don’t come fully supplied either so make sure you have everything with you. Towels, bath mat, toilet rolls, dish cloth, rubbish bags, tea towels and oven gloves. I would go back but I would definitely be more prepared, it was our first visit to a haven park.
