1. We booked two double-bed rooms. When we checked in, we were given a double-bed room and a twin-bed room. Two gay men cannot sleep in the same bed, so we went to the front desk to coordinate, and the front desk told us to change rooms. There is an additional fee of 30 euros! Don’t hotels have to abide by the agreement? Don’t hotels have to honor reservations? I hope Ctrip can give an explanation! ! ! Second, there is no Chinese courtesy at the service desk! It’s not like they can communicate in Chinese as Ctrip said! 3. When we arrived at the hotel, we were charged an additional deposit of 600 euros. After checking out, there is still no payment reminder! very worried!

We were in Madrid for the first time, and picked Barcello de Torre primarily based on location and the glowing reviews on Trip Advisor. Anything you read that's positive is true: it's new, clean, perfectly located, reasonably priced, great breakfast, etc, but it seems like every menber of the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome. It's an easy walk to the Royal Palace, the Plaza de Espana subway stop is directly across the street, lots of restaurants close by, easy walk to Puerta del Sol, excellent dinner in the restaurant. large rooms. An extremely well run operation that should be the model for others in it's class.

We have chosen this hotel for our Autovista Technology Conference 2023 with 130 delegates. All worked perfectly, The organizational team was on top of all activities. Rooms very clean, service excellent l, friendly and supportive. Food for breakfast, lunch and gala dinner was high quality. The plenary room was big enough, a lot of natural light by big windows. All technical equipment and network worked perfectly. I can recommend this hotel for business events and private trips without doubts.

The environment of the hotel is very good. The lobby, restaurant, and garden are all elegantly and meticulously decorated, but the room is a bit crowded for us as a family of three, and the room facilities are average. My favorite is the restaurant, both indoor and outdoor, the restaurant environment and food are of high quality. In addition, the location is very good, very close to the main attractions in the old city (Madrid Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, Plaza España), ten minutes walk, but please pay attention to driving, this is a restricted area in the old city. We got an awesome room, great location and super Fun pool. It’s super popular with the Instagram crowd and they cater a bit to them. But everyone is super nice and friendly, treated our kids lovingly although they accidentally threw away our baby’s lovie and couldn’t find it later which super sucked. The bathroom flooded because it was so full of hair from previous guests, kind of gross. Got an absolutely terrible night sleep because you can hear every single Thing in the hotel from next door to above you. They seemed to be vacuuming rooms at 1:00AM above us and moving furniture which was super loud. Food was great, service was excellent but alot of snotty people.

Stayed one full week in Madrid and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The hotel was recently opened and had a special musical touch to it, located right in the center of Madrid by Plaza Mayor and Sol. Rooms are well appointed spacious, and quality amenities ,beautiful rooftop terrace and even though the hotel has a theatre/concert venue you will not hear much! Many artists usually perform at the famous theater venue in the lobby which adds a fun vibe to the experience . However I really need to highlight the staff especially Maria Garcia one of the managers a true professional and did all she can for me to enjoy this experience, always there to help and assist making sure my experience is top notch. Tania the guest experience manager was extraordinary, knew all the answers to my questions and recommend great restaurants, found the perfect transfers to take me to the football stadium, and more. She is a superstar Also wanted to mention Alvaro front office manager, always smiling and accommodating! Bravo!

Like in other reviews, the main pro about this hotel is location. Very convenient for metro and bus access, and within reasonable walking distance to the Palacio Real. However, that’s about the only reason to book this hotel. The Front Desk staff was rude, unaccommodating, and just plain wrong. He insisted that the room was not suitable for two when the booking and rate type, both in my confirmation email and in the IHG app, clearly showed “SLEEPS 2.” When I asked if it’s a twin bed in the room, he said no it’s a queen. So I asked what’s the problem then? As we were getting our keys he then said by the way breakfast would normally be for one but in this case I give you guys the second breakfast free. As if he were trying to come across as doing us a favor, when I know for a fact that the rate I booked included breakfast for up to two guests. Our best guess is this person was ********** (it was myself and my ******** partner) and couldn’t stand the idea of us being in this room together. This is also all without so much as even acknowledging my loyalty (Gold) with IHG. I’ve stayed at Holiday Inn Expresses with considerably more welcoming staff than this man (won’t name him by name unless IHG reaches out) displayed at this property. Stay at this property for the location but don’t pay anything more than 60€ per night. Anything more than that is a rip off. And don’t expect to be given a warm welcome by this particular front desk person. There was another person - a woman - working the front desk but our interactions with her were unfortunately limited. Perhaps the experience would have been better if we had been welcomed by her as she was considerably more pleasant.

Great time at hotel roof at cosy bar. Really helps when downtown everything keeps the heat: pavement and buildings. Nice Cold glass of Cava and beautiful view from above. Many thanks to hotel staff being so friendly, hospitable, and ceremonial. It counts nowadays twice, when many do not care about good manners. I can recommend Villa Vinci as a highly agreeable and enjoyable place to stay. Last but not least it has a strategic location at Calle Gran Via, which always guarantees you a “place to be”.

Nothing wrong with hotel. The rooms were a large for a Capitol city hotel and very clean. The hotel lacked any amenities but offered breakfast next door (which added to the experience). The location is good but not in the central downtown area. It has excellent access to the tube and bus routes. We normally like to walk back to our hotels. This one took 25 minutes from the centre Sol. All down hill and mostly along a busy main road. The hotel was quiet but the area was rather run down with lots of homeless people around the rail station. The hotel was reasonably good value. If I wanted something in the centre at the same price I would probably be looking at a hostal or book well in advance. I must add, the staff in the Acta Madfor were most helpful and friendly

Best hotel in Madrid regardless if you come on holidays or on work. As the motto goes everything is set for work and play. Very central location only a walk to the old town Plaza Mayor and the nice Latina and Letras districts thus next to M30 and 10 minutes to Atocha main station. Bus stop at the door and Metro down the road. Parking on site. Nice, spacey, modern rooms, excellent breakfast, lots of spaces to work , excellent breakfast and food ( with daily menu), wonderful top roof bar and pool with view to the Palacio Real and super friendly and helpful staff. Best value for money and lots of fun. Working never felt so playful. Definitively the place to go regardless is biz or pleasure.

The accommodation was comfortable, so I extended it for another day. I chose a single bed, but the room was well decorated, so it didn't feel too narrow. Carrefour is also close. I booked this property mostly due to the access to the pool. Much to my dismay on check-in, I was told that the pool only opened from June 1 - Sept 30. This wasn't stated on the 3rd party site. The mattress was rock hard! For the first time in my life I had to place a pillow under my hips in the middle of my first night as the surface was too painful. Aside from that, the rooms are large, clean and the hotel is well-maintained. The fitness room was also well-appointed. The hotel is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood, mostly residential.

If you want to reach nearby attractions more conveniently, the location is the only advantage of this hotel. The hotel is very close to the Royal Palace of Madrid and its own subway. The facilities are the same as in the promotional pictures. However, the room has a peculiar smell that is hard to get used to. There is no hairdryer. The shower room is small and not waterproof, and water easily overflows when taking a shower. The hotel implements online check-in, and you need to check in online in time to receive the room unlocking code. Also the receptionist was nice. Overall this hotel just one star level.
