This was my first trip abroad for three years due to Covid, and my first-ever solo trip since losing my husband six months ago. It was a huge decision to go, at 78, and this turned out to be an absolutely perfect choice. This child-free, peaceful hotel is everything I was hoping for - right on the beach (I MUST get into the sea every day, several times !!), and there are dining tables so close that if the Mediterranean was tidal, you could get your feet wet !! The pool doesn't look very big, but swim a lap and you'll find out it's bigger than you perhaps thought . . . !! My sea-facing room was lovely, very clean (as indeed was everywhere else), and spacious. Towels were changed every day, and sheets also changed once during my week, which is quite enough. There is a brilliant electronic switch which allows you to indicate Yes/No for room cleaning. Bathroom was also spacious with a powerful shower, once I had worked out turning it off before replacing in the holder sometimes during a shower when necessary! Air con controls were in the wardrobe, although I turned mine off as it is too drying overnight, and so I left the patio door open a little. No risks at all. Pool sunbeds were grabbed VERY early, so were not really an option. Selfish people again, as sadly this happens everywhere. However there are lots on the beach, and the attendant is swift to supply a very comfortable mattress when you arrive. There is also a large flowerpot by every pair of sunbeds for rubbish - wonderful idea! Every pair has a fixed wicker parasol too, so it is all very tidy and cconvenient. There are two taps for feet washing as you leave the beach. I had researched before I went, of course and as always, so I knew the beach was sand and shingle. I therefore took swim shoes which made it all so very easy. The food choices were good, the usual multi-national selections obviously, but there was never a problem in finding an appetising choice. I must say - driven by someone else's review, that if a Full English is THAT important to you, then stay in the UK !!!!! This is Turkey !!!!! Drinks in the bar were again the usual limited local ones, in the evening at the pool bar, the raki went down well. The other 'spirits' less so. Wines and beer were okay. An absolute joy was the absence of perpetual piped (often loud) music ! Earphones and personal choice is so very much better ! Thank you for that, Hotel management! There is ample entertainment nearby if you want more than peace and conversation. There was an issue on my arrival, at about 1am, with a driver who didn't speak English and a hotel name outside showing Hotel Tropical. I was expecting Tropical Beach Hotel, so wasn't sure it was correct, as hotels frequently have very similar names. This does need to be addressed - I discovered I was not the only one who had a problem with this. Overall - an absolutely brilliant experience that I would very happily repeat! Thank you to all staff, both seen and
