This was a last minute holiday for myself and my husband. The food was shocking, I follow a vegan diet and my first breakfast there was a dry piece of toast. No beans/ hasbrowns/ tomatoes nothing. Lunch and dinner wasn’t much better . All the staff were miserable. I know it was the end of season but no excuse to look so fed up. Not one member of staff stood out for us as none of them interacted with us. We met other people that said the same thing. The rooms were very basic and it would have been nice to have had a kettle in the room . I would go back to marmaris but not to this hotel

Hotel was very clean and rooms were cleaned every morning with fresh towels given. Pool was nice we never really had any trouble finding a sunbed and there was a group of 8 of us. Even if there was none at the pool, the private beach is right beside the hotel. Food was good but rather repetitive and towards the end we got a bit bored and went out for dinner a few times. Biggest downside was probably no entertainment we had quiet music by the bar at night and that was it. Table tennis was good however could have benefited from maybe a pool table or some darts as there wasn’t much to do. The best thing about this hotel is definitely the staff they were lovely and always went above and beyond for us every day. Shoutout to Hakan who took good care of us and was always great to talk to. Bit of a walk from the centre of Marmaris but taxis were cheap enough and it was easy to get to. We made use of the free sauna a few times which was lovely, and then the Turkish bath on the first day was lovely and relaxing. It was also useful being able to take towels from the hotel out to the pool etc.

This was my first trip abroad for three years due to Covid, and my first-ever solo trip since losing my husband six months ago. It was a huge decision to go, at 78, and this turned out to be an absolutely perfect choice. This child-free, peaceful hotel is everything I was hoping for - right on the beach (I MUST get into the sea every day, several times !!), and there are dining tables so close that if the Mediterranean was tidal, you could get your feet wet !! The pool doesn't look very big, but swim a lap and you'll find out it's bigger than you perhaps thought . . . !! My sea-facing room was lovely, very clean (as indeed was everywhere else), and spacious. Towels were changed every day, and sheets also changed once during my week, which is quite enough. There is a brilliant electronic switch which allows you to indicate Yes/No for room cleaning. Bathroom was also spacious with a powerful shower, once I had worked out turning it off before replacing in the holder sometimes during a shower when necessary! Air con controls were in the wardrobe, although I turned mine off as it is too drying overnight, and so I left the patio door open a little. No risks at all. Pool sunbeds were grabbed VERY early, so were not really an option. Selfish people again, as sadly this happens everywhere. However there are lots on the beach, and the attendant is swift to supply a very comfortable mattress when you arrive. There is also a large flowerpot by every pair of sunbeds for rubbish - wonderful idea! Every pair has a fixed wicker parasol too, so it is all very tidy and cconvenient. There are two taps for feet washing as you leave the beach. I had researched before I went, of course and as always, so I knew the beach was sand and shingle. I therefore took swim shoes which made it all so very easy. The food choices were good, the usual multi-national selections obviously, but there was never a problem in finding an appetising choice. I must say - driven by someone else's review, that if a Full English is THAT important to you, then stay in the UK !!!!! This is Turkey !!!!! Drinks in the bar were again the usual limited local ones, in the evening at the pool bar, the raki went down well. The other 'spirits' less so. Wines and beer were okay. An absolute joy was the absence of perpetual piped (often loud) music ! Earphones and personal choice is so very much better ! Thank you for that, Hotel management! There is ample entertainment nearby if you want more than peace and conversation. There was an issue on my arrival, at about 1am, with a driver who didn't speak English and a hotel name outside showing Hotel Tropical. I was expecting Tropical Beach Hotel, so wasn't sure it was correct, as hotels frequently have very similar names. This does need to be addressed - I discovered I was not the only one who had a problem with this. Overall - an absolutely brilliant experience that I would very happily repeat! Thank you to all staff, both seen and

Lovely quiet hotel for adults only. All the staff were friendly and helpful, from the cleaner to the reception staff. Always a smile and hello even if they didn't speak English. Our room 522 was spacious with a beautiful sea veiw. Both the bedroom and bathroom were very clean. Clean towels daily and change of bed linen mid week. Only issue is could say is the lack of clothes hangers, just 4 in the wardrobe but fortunately I took a supply with me. Was always able to get a pool side sunbed but then I'm an early riser and was out by 8.30am. Towels will be removed if put out hours before the morning. The pool is lovely and much bigger than you realise. The island in the middle is a clever idea as it means that the water warmed up quicker in the sun. Always a great selection of food available for all meals and delicious desserts... Especially the baclava! Ice-cream was available in the afternoon also delicious. Wine and beer were good . Waiting staff were attentive and always pleasent. We had the hamam on our first day which was very good and set us up for the rest of our holiday. There's mini busses passing the front door about every 4 minutes, that cost about 70p into the centre of Marmaris, you just wave at the white and green one for it to stop. The only music was subtle background music in the bar area after dinner. No blaring music. A great mixture of different nationalities and everyone mixed well. We'd definitely return especially if we could stay in the same room!

We went here end of October/beginning of November. I can’t moan, it was a good holiday. The food was nice, drinks were nice. I must admit we didn’t spend a lot of time in/around the pool, it went in the shade quickly. If we were relaxing, we went to the beach. Again, not their fault but the beach is like a giant cat litter so just be careful when moving sun beds around as we did this and couldn’t cope with the smell! The staff were replay friendly and helpful (apart from one guy who used to literally bark at guests.. I found this abit odd) The maid was lovely! She always did a fab job at cleaning our room and always made sure we were okay. Reception staff were lovely aswell, can’t fault them at all! Be wary of people selling things on the beach, a lady was trying to convince me to buy and anklet and wouldn’t give in even when I said no a million times, I had to get quite firm for her to leave me be however she literally put one on my friends ankle and refused to take it off saying she owed her £20 even though my friend said no a million times aswell. I’d say the main bad point is there’s no entertainment, whereas the hotel next door has brilliant entertain and we often would sing along to their music instead! The holiday itself was brill and the hotel was lovely, as usual it’s the odd holiday makers making a scene and after having a skinful decided to start on other guests.. myself being one of them when we were not even talking to them! All in all it was lovely, take each review with a pinch of salt and make your own mind up :)

I stayed at the Tropical Beach for 10 days Oct/November, its a really nice hotel with friendly attentive staff, the buffet food for breakfast/lunch/dinner was good, maybe a bit repetitive but good. There's only one bar which is near to.the pool with a good sized seating area overlooking the beach, which had plenty of shade. The room was a good size and had a great balcony looking g out to the pool and beach, there's an overhead rainfall shower which was very powerful, the rooms are cleaned daily. It us situated an hours walk from the main centre or just jump the bus for around 20 TL which us about 60p and are very regular, just stand outside the hotel and stick your hand out whe. It approaches. My only grumble about the hotel is there is no entertainment which makes it a bit boring, but ad I've already said you can take the shoet bus trip along to the bars etc. All in all I really liked staying here and would happily book to stay here again.

Location is good enough if you want to be away from the busy part. Rooms cleaned every day, cleaners are amazing, some of the younger male waiters give the young girls waiter service but no one else, although sun loungers shouldn’t be reserved at 7am people are reserving sun beds, some even take a photo? Go out for half a day and get their bed, pool is only cleaned once a week, the drain grill surrounding the pool is absolutely disgusting, it’s black and never cleaned, probably full of bacteria, There’s only 1 bar by the pool, and the loo is way back into the main building, being a solo by the time you got back someone’s taken your seat by the bar area. I had a room that was for disabled people so the hose was at waste level, with no shower screen behind so the floor resembles a pool afterwards. It’s not a wet room. The room itself although tired was decent enough BUT no tea/coffee making facilities, no English programs on TV and very poor WiFi. Sea View was great but no sun in Nov on rooms #10+ Food was very average, evening meals always the same, hit and miss really whether you will enjoy it or not. I’ve been here 5 days now and yet to see anyone from the staff smile except the cleaners. The beach is a pebble beach so don’t be expecting golden sands. I wouldn’t have rated this hotel as a 4 star, No entertainment whatsoever, Overhearing BS stories from other guests was my entertainment. Would I return? No, but I wouldn’t say it’s the worst place either. Overall I’ve enjoyed the break, the peace and tranquility (being hard of hearing helps)

Wow just got back from an amazing holiday in Marmaris and stayed at The Tropical Beach Hotel. This place is an absolute gem. We had a sea view room and the view was breathtaking looked right onto the bay and down to Marmaris. Rooms were cleaned every day to a very high standard wit fresh towels and water left each time. The food was gorgeous different every day wit all local dishes and the cakes always fresh. All the staff were so friendly and nothing was to much trouble. All inclusive definately the way to go altho I need to go on a diet now I'm home lol. The only down side was 2 girls being very loud and drunk for a couple of nights but that's not the hotels fault in anyway. Gonna book again to go here. Thankyou so much to all the staff for making our stay so great.
