Beautifully designed Deco property in a leafy neighbourhood with many cafes and restaurants. Great rooftop breakfast.

The property is lovely, well restored and offers excellent value.
A few snags which tainted my stay.
1) heating, the rooms are cool overnight and I needed a heater. 2 out of 3 fan heaters didn’t work or provided a tepid heat. This should be basic function of the hotel.
2) the beds are standard doubles, which for mexico is small. They are ok but not luxurious. If you and your partner are larger you may well be touching through the night.
3) the included breakfast doesn’t have any protein options. Fruit, bread/pastry, kellogs cereals. Its sugar heavy which is not great if you are carb counting diabetic or keto.
I have since read reviews and the hotel defends as being usual. I disagree, I have stayed in 6 different hotels in CDMX on the same bed and breakfast arrangement and this is the only one which charges for an egg or a bit of bacon. Theres lots of cute cafes around the neighbourhood to tempt away from the hotel offering.

Very lovely boutique hotel in a safe neighborhood in Condessa. Staff were helpful and kind. Rooftop patio was really nice and breakfast was available. Kettle was available all the time for a late night tea. Thank you so much Casa Decu.

Very much enjoyed our stay at Casa Decu. Convenient location in very nice area. Enjoyed walking to parks in area. Service was excellent and the rooftop area was a great place to have breakfast or relax at night.

We had a lovely stay at casa decu. The hotel is conveniently located in a fantastic area with many great local bars, cafes & restaurants. Breakfast is continental style, but enough to keep you going first thing and the service is friendly.

Can I just move in? We had a two bedroom sweet right in Condesa. The roof deck was amazing for eating breakfast (though there are TWO chilaquil restaurants within a few blocks), playing cards with my family, and even doing yoga. I also got a dress ironed for $1...$1 people. Condesa is the height of swank in DF and Casa Decu makes you feel right at home.

This was a beautiful space that felt like it was just far enough away from everything to be quiet but close enough to everything to be walkable. The walls are kind of thin and the mattress is a little firm, so be aware coming in. But those are the only 2 downsides I could find. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The hotel was beautiful. The location was perfect. I loved the shower. It was very nice and will definitely be coming back for my next visit in Mexico City.

Condesa is a lovely area, and Casa Decu was the perfect quiet, safe hotel to use as a base to explore the whole of Mexico City.
