Stayed for 4 nights, Nice Rooms Very clean , only issue I had was with the shower which didn’t work and wasn’t sorted by time I left

My double room was more than adequate and comfortable. Everything was as it should be. I slept well and woke up properly rested. The staff were courteous and friendly. A breath of fresh air in comparison to other well known hotel groups. I'll be back.

Room was good, comfy and quiet. My dinner was good and the chef was very accommodating with plant based options. Breakfast had some issues with items listed on the menu being unavailable or running out early (deliveries didn’t arrive?). I was disappointed not to be able to get any fruit over the three mornings of my stay. There were no mugs by the hot drinks stations - they are on the tables so you have to go and find one, or ask the staff. I very much enjoyed the cooked items and toast - lovely. All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Thank you.

Easy to find great price good stay. If in that area for business I would stay again. Staff very very very helpful. Close to A1 but NO traffic noise.

Situated just off of Junction 16 on the A1, I arrived on Friday, April 12 and the hotel was very quiet. I was checking very promptly and friendly and went to my room. The room was adequate, a nice size and a very nice comfy bed. I did not eat in the restaurant in the evening but I did notice that a two course meal was £22 and only £12 for a bottle of wine which I thought was excellent. Breakfast the next morning was served to order and was absolutely delicious, With a selection of whatever you fancy from the menu including sausages, and mushrooms, hashbrowns, eggs cooked whichever way you like and omelettes made to order. I would like to thank Sophie for being a very friendly courteous waitress in the morning who was always on hand to see if any of the customers needed anything. She was friendly and polite and is definitely an asset to the hotel. Thank you, Sophie. The price was a very reasonable £55 which included a very nice room and breakfast. Would definitely recommend for a short one night stay.

I needed a place to stay on my way north from London. This hotel seemed like it was in the right location (just off the A1). I couldn't find any reviews but chanced my luck on whether it was O.K. or not. Plenty of parking right next to the hotel. Check-in was fast, friendly and efficient (thanks, Ann) and when I got to the room I could see that it was clean and with excellent facilities. Breakfast the next morning had a wide selection - cereals, cold serves, hot serves. You really couldn't complain. For sure, if I'm back this way again this is the place to stay.
