As our journey around Gannan drew to a close in Xiahe, I found myself only concerned with cleanliness when choosing accommodations, which rarely met my expectations. However, this guesthouse, which I hadn't held out much hope for, exceeded my expectations in every way. It was spotless, the kettle looked brand new, the bedding was incredibly comfortable, and the room was completely odor-free. The service was also outstanding; they proactively upgraded our room, helped with our luggage, and even offered extra bottled water when they learned we were dining in the room. It was excellent value for money, and I will definitely choose this guesthouse again next time I visit Xiahe.

Each evening, they thoughtfully brought warm butter tea to our room and shared local legends, speaking in earnest, albeit broken, Chinese. What truly stayed with me was opening my window in the crisp morning to see prayer flags fluttering against the majestic backdrop of snow-capped mountains, with the gentle chime of yak bells carried on the breeze. It felt as if the entire plateau was whispering a welcome. This is more than just a place to stay; it's an immersive dive into ******* culture. My soul felt utterly filled with purity and warmth. If you're looking to experience the most authentic Tibet, look no further than this guesthouse!

The owner was incredibly welcoming, proactively helping with luggage during check-in and check-out. It's a newly opened hotel, and you can see the owner's dedication in every detail. They even thoughtfully asked for our feedback on breakfast. The environment was clean; it would be even better if the rooms had projectors. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Labrang Monastery.

The environment of the room is good. Although there is air conditioning, it is still not warm at night. If the heating conditions can be better, the water heater has dripping water, the water volume is not very sufficient, anyway, the plateau can not take a bath, it does not matter. The staff service is also very warm. Overall still quite satisfactory!

On our check-in day, the welcoming owner offered to take us for a walk by a nearby stream. Verdant grass lay beneath our feet, dotted with wildflowers, the stream gurgled, and in the distance, cattle and sheep strolled leisurely. It felt like stepping into an untouched natural landscape. This immersive experience, detached from the hustle and bustle of life, was one of the greatest surprises of the trip. Service is in the Details What touched us most was the owner's thoughtfulness. Due to our tight schedule the next day, we planned to depart at 7:30 AM. We had planned to skip breakfast, but the owner specifically inquired about our departure time the night before and prepared a hot breakfast the next morning. Bread, milk tea, and side dishes...the simple fare held the most simple warmth, making us feel like family on a cool morning. This selfless enthusiasm far exceeds expectations of ”hotel service.” Summary This isn't just a hotel offering accommodations; it's a warm, grassland inn. If you're looking for a place on the Sangke Grasslands where you can experience local hospitality, this is definitely worth choosing. The owner's sincerity and the beautiful grassland scenery will be the most unforgettable moments of your trip.

I had a truly unique and enjoyable stay at this campsite. Not only was the accommodation comfortable, but there was also so much to do. During the day, you step right out into vast grasslands with beautiful scenery everywhere you look – perfect for stunning photos. In the evenings, the campsite comes alive with lively bonfire parties, creating a fantastic atmosphere. At night, you can gaze up at a sky full of stars; the view is incredibly open. Overall, it was peaceful and therapeutic, allowing me to relax and have a great time. It's the ideal spot for a relaxing grassland getaway.

Incredible stay at the Xicheng Inn. The hotel is very cozy with fascinating decor. I loved spending time in the third-floor library, filled with cultural artifacts, games, and books – you'll never get bored! The hospitality from the hotel staff is also unmatched. I stayed alone but never felt lonely. They take guests on walks around the city to discover ******* culture. I recommend staying here not only for the comfort of the hotel but also for the wonderfully warm atmosphere. 在Xicheng Inn 的入住体验令人难忘。酒店装饰别致温馨，三楼的图书室尤其迷人——里面摆满了文化工艺品、游戏和书籍，待上一整天都不会无聊！酒店员工的待客之道无可挑剔，我虽是独自旅行，却从未感到孤单。他们会带客人漫步古城，领略藏地文化风情。我强烈推荐这里，不仅因为舒适的住宿环境，更因那份宾至如归的温暖氛围。

The room was small and poorly soundproofed; you could hear your neighbors talking. The toilet seat had fallen off, and there was no hairdryer in the room, making it inconvenient to wash your hair. The only downside was the beautiful courtyard, where you could relax in the evenings. Definitely avoid the restaurant next door!

This is great hotel and with a few minor improvements it could be an outstanding hotel. It's location couldn't be better as it is directly across the street from the entrance to the Longram Monastery and very near the main street. The hotel has an interesting ******* character and has its own good restaurant. We were assigned a very large and comfortable room. The staff were at all times friendly and welcoming. My minor complaints were the absence of any English speakers (admittedly an issue at almost all the hotels we have stayed at in China), the bathroom towels were a bit raged, and the internet connection was weak.

The rooms are well equipped and the room service and restaurant service are satisfactory. Two problems: First, the room temperature was too high, about 30 degrees, and there was no temperature control. I reported this to the hotel, and they said that the heating temperature in Xiahe is always that high and the hotel cannot control it. We opened the windows and drew the curtains, but didn't dare turn on the lights because there was a hotel across the street. We couldn't fall asleep in bed at all. It felt like we were in a scorching hot room with no ventilation or air conditioning. It was minus 14 degrees outside, but it was suffocatingly hot inside! We, an elder who was almost 70 years old, had to travel the next day, so we didn't sleep the whole night and just endured the scorching heat.
