Amazing
GGuest UserAs very seasoned travelers, my family and I enjoy exploring the most amazing resorts and hotels around the world, which we look at with a very discriminating eye. For the Oberoi Marrakesh, it is truly difficult to find fault. The hotel, relatively new, is simply stunning with the impressive lobby and villas, as well as expansive gardens with 2700 olive trees. The acting General Manager Mamdouh is the perfect and consummate hotelier, ever present checking everything non-stop, to ensure the guest experience is nothing less than 5-stars. Jalal from their F&B outlet surprised us with an entire loaf of lemon cake to take back to London that was not available on two breakfasts which we sore missed after our first breakfast. El Habib is an amazing server ready to grant you at least three wishes with his magic lamp! Khalid the Duty Manager also asks non-stop how they can improve a service that is already par excellence. Our hats off to the amazing pastry chef who makes baked goods that rival the best Parisian patisserie. I saw the two staff who cleaned every machine in the fitness center using four sprays leaving neither dust nor germ —- they focus on the minutest detail. The whole team is just extremely well-trained and professional and very committed in their desire to exceed your expectations. The synchronization of their efforts, in the most natural and sincere manner, always with big smiles, translates to nothing less than less than a truly memorable experience. They know how to make you feel like Arab royalty! We will certainly be back!!! Thank you so much to all of you!!! Shukran! If you want that “palace in the middle of the oasis experience” in Marrakesh, you will not get it any better than at the Oberoi!
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful experience staying at the Fairmont. The staff is super friendly and helpful. For instance, I left my Kindle at the hotel mistakenly, and the staff found it promptly and will most probably send it back. The facilities are beautiful and the spa is top quality. A terrific stay.
GGuest UserThe service is very good. You can go to the spa and soak in the hot springs. The service attitude is very good. Most of the staff can speak English.
DDenis1. They don't remove used dishes at breakfast.
2. They don't replace used kits (dental and shaving)
3. They don't have their own branded car. They come by calling an economy class taxi.
4. They mixed up all the massages in the SPA, but the SPA itself is good.
GGuest UserI chose this riad because it had high reviews, and it was just as wonderful as the reviews said. The rooms and courtyard were artistic and relaxing. The food was also delicious, and although dinner was an additional charge, the tajine pot had a simple home-cooked taste and was very tasty. Furthermore, the owner and staff were all friendly and kind, so I was very satisfied. The homely atmosphere was soothing, and it was the first time I'd ever had such a difficult time checking out. I'd definitely like to visit again.
JJigs88I actually did not stay in this Riad. I booked this Riad via trip.com for 3 nights and paid upfront. But when we reached there, person over there said there is no booking. They even said they don’t know what trip.com is. Even phone number on trip.com and even google is not right. When I saw that number to person over there, he didn’t recognise number. Owner of Riad finally talked to trip.com and told me that he will give us accommodation on different Riad for one night and somewhere else for another two night. First accommodation was good but second one for two nights was extremely small and not up to mark.
Now I don’t know who was on fault here whether this Riad who purposefully overbooked and then accommodated me on different cheap Riad OR trip.com who didn’t confirm booking with them.
Our holiday was completely ruined.
MMarianne :)We had a lovely time staying at Riad dar Medina Land. Staff were fantastic and gave us a warm welcome. Breakfast was great. Great location as well, on a more hidden street but easy to walk to/from the centre and it was nice to be on the quieter side of the Medina at times. Only issue was on the first night there was a double booking so we had to stay in another riad, otherwise all good and even this situation was dealt with nicely.
Would recommend staying here!
DDonny18Good location, friendly staff. Would not order food again in hotel as it is pricey and not very fresh comparing to restaurants around.
Visited from the UK, think this hotel is max 3* and overpriced.
Clean and tidy rooms.
