Where do I start... first, check in was at 3. We arrived at about 3:05 and they told us they didn't have a room. We had already paid. So they had us and some other people wait while they ”looked for rooms” and then had them cleaned. After about 45 minutes of waiting, they said 10 more minutes. 15 minutes after that, I went up to them to say it had now been an hour. They asked ”what's your name again?” and then gave me a room key and told me 805. I go up to 805 and the key doesn't open the door so I start trying other doors and the key opens 806. Then I have to go back down to make sure 806 is in fact my room. This whole time the three young Asian men working at the front desk were extremely standoffish, as if we were annoying them staying at their hotel. We had one small body wash for three people. The next day we went to ask for more body wash and had to wait while the front desk guy talked on his cell phone for a while. He asked when we needed it by and we said... like now? So he gave us another single small body wash. Turns out the ”rooftop bar” of the hotel is not affiliated with the hotel in any way, so you have to pay a cover just to get in. Oh, and although there are signs even in the elevator that you should go to the 24th floor to get there, that is not the case. You have to go outside the hotel and a few doors down, which you wouldn't know, because signs tell you otherwise. I have tried to call the front desk 7 times and each time no one answers. This place seriously sucks.

Sheraton Brooklyn New York

Downtown Brooklyn
I have stayed here 3 times in the past 3-4 years. Part of the reason for the loyalty was the Club Lounge (but that was closed - permanently I was told) and the Italian restaurant as it was good prior (but that was also not open on Sunday night). The attitude of the staff is fine and they're friendly. Lastly, I thought since I cant see the Sunday Night Football Game in the bar-restaurant, I will watch it in my room - NOPE none of the stations available carried it (I went through each station about 4 times but no game). In short, it is likely that I will find another location in the future.

First of all, I have experienced Ace Hotel Portland few years ago, so I chose Ace Hotel this time also. I trust this brand. 1) Location : Subway A,C,G line is very near from the hotel, so It is easy to move to Manhattan. Also, East Brooklyn like Williamsburg is not far from here. We usually used the Lyft for moving to Williamsburg, and it took about 15min. 2) Cleanliness : the hotel room was well-organised and very clean. Room-keepers were very kind and there are no difficult to communicate. 3) Service : Reception and room-keepers and engineers were so kind and very helpful. 4) Facilities : I have used Gym, and it is small but well-organised. Treadmill is good, but Cycle is malfunctioned.

Our visit brought us to the Even Hotel Brooklyn for a convention. We could not have been more satisfied. Everyone of the staff that we encountered was friendly, helpful and extremely professional. We loved the room. Perfect for getting work done with the stand up desk and ample outlets and ports. The whiteboard is a super touch. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathroom appointments were sensational. It was fantastic to be able to do a mini work out in the room each day with the aid of stretch bands and a ball. Parking was available overnight on the street by the hotel. Parking lot was not needed. THANK YOU to Cris in housekeeping for getting a piece of luggage returned that was accidentally left in the room. We had it back within 2 1/2 days of realizing that it never made it to the car. We can't wait to come back.
Hilton Brooklyn New York

The hotel is less than half an hour's drive from Manhattan and there is a subway for about 6 minutes. The size of the room is OK in New York. This Hilton hotel's decoration management specifications are a little worse than the domestic Hilton Hotel, and it is worthwhile in the United States.
