Killeavy Castle Estate

Stayed for a long weekend during which had our wedding. The location and grounds are great, the food great, rooms clean and to a high standard but throughout the whole hotel the staff are fantastic, friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough for you. When it came to the wedding Seidy and Shane couldn't have looked after us any better.

Overall I really thought the Killeavy castle hotel was excellent. Food was beautiful along with surroundings and rooms. Massage and facial I got was great and enjoyed the spa facilities. The only minor point was the lack of a fridge in the guest room and room was quite hot.

The view, the staff, the relaxing spa, amazing trea**ents & resturant experience I will never forget! I have never eaten nicer food with such care and flavour. Every dish was explained and the letter from the chef was a touch of class! I actually cannot stop thinking about the food! I can't wait to go back!

At a family wedding had a brilliant day everybody was so helpful and pleasant could not do enough for us thank you .

Stayed in the self catering cottage and enjoyed the facilities of the hotel . The cottage itself was exceptional , comfort , peacefulness & facilities within for a weekend stay . Eat in both restaurant & bistro bar & could not fault the staff & the menu choice . Food was presented well & quality was excellent. The location is beautiful, the grounds of a castle and plenty of space to explore , surrounded by nature at its spring best . The staff were professional friendly and always helpful. Will return sooner rather later , would recommend for a relaxing weekend away.

Its not often you find a hotel that ticks all the boxes and everything it tries to deliver, it secedes in doing in a 1st class manor. Well Killeavy Castle hotel & Estate does and does so in spades. As soon as you check in with the friendly staff you get the feeling that this is going to be a good experience. Our 2 bed king bedded room was lovely and comfy. We ate in the bar and again welcomed as if we were family. I must mention Chloe, who must be the friendliest server I have ever meet. Chloe is a huge asset to your brand and will be going to the very top of whatever she does. The food was superb. We had the special of the day, the beef. Fell off the fork, fab. Save room for the puddings as they are great to. Have a little walk around the grounds afterwards, to try and walk off some calories. The next morning the manager sorting out the breakfast buffet was again an asset to Killeavy. A wide choice to choose from and attentive service. Lastly on checking out, the different girls on reception were superb. Chatty Sally, as she called herself was a true gem. Another young lady lady who is a huge asset to have. I wish I could remember her name. A lot of other hotels could learn a lot from coming here to see how if you try very hard, employ the right staff, then you can provide an experience that will be remembered and appreciated for a long time. Brilliant chilled night away and excellent package and value for the money! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back.
