The Hotel is a converted mansion located in the historic heart of La Orotava, with a handful of large room (ours had a beamed ceiling) located on the first floor, so be prepared to haul cases up steep steps. The ground-floor is occupied by a large courtyard and the dining room of the well-known restaurant, "Sabor Canario".
Our room was reasonably spacious and, although the bathroom was small, it was adequate for a short stay. Facilities included a large TV and reasonable free Wi-Fi.
Downsides were: (1) lack of Reception staff; (2) difficult to park.

This historic converted mansion is situated in the historic centre of the city, only minutes away from main sites such as the famous "Casa de los Balcones" and the Iglesia de Nuestra Senora. The ground-floor courtyard and rooms are occupied by the respected "Sabor Canario" Restaurant (reviewed separately) and the hotel's handful of guest- rooms are located on the first floor. Our characterful double room was reasonably spacious, comfortable and well-equipped with free Wi-Fi and flat screen TV and, in keeping with the building, it was furnished in antique style. The en suite bathroom was small, but adequate for a short stay. The 2 main downsides were: (a) the lack of any nearby parking and (b) the fact that Reception was only staffed infrequently.

Maravilloso hotel rural. Muy agradable y situado en un lugar inmejorable. Han sido super amables con nosotros. Recomiendo también comer en el restaurante, comida casera y muy rica. El hotel tiene mucha historia y un mobiliario de madera magnífico.

Piccolo hotel ricavato in una bella casa antica. La posizione è centralissima, quindi perfetta per visitare la cittadina di Orotava; il parcheggio si trova abbastanza facilmente nelle vicinanze. La camera 6, dove abbiamo trascorso una notte, ha una grossa pecca: la finestra, piccola e posizionata in alto, si affaccia sul patio quindi entra pochissima luce. Anche l’arredamento è troppo basico. Il bagno, pur piccolo, non è male. Detto questo, ho apprezzato l’accoglienza gentile, lo charme dell’edificio, la comodità del letto e la tranquillità del sonno. Sicuramente le stanze che si affacciano sulla strada, avendo finestre normali, sono più piacevoli. Non so se il rumore delle auto è fastidioso: la strada, a senso unico, è acciottolata. Non è possibile fare colazione in hotel, ma ci sono due belle caffetterie piuttosto vicine, nella piazza del municipio. Abbiamo cenato nel ristorante dell’hotel e siamo rimasti soddisfatti. Prezzi adeguati.

Hotel bien situé.Chambre petite et assez bruyante la nuit cause voitures.Parking impossible ou presque si ce n est un parking souterrain cher.La deuxieme nuit l hotel etait fermé et etions seuls dans l hotel sans avoir été prevenus Petit dejeuner?????

Demeure magnifique du XVII eme bien restaurée. Chambre sur la rue un peu bruyante cause route pavée. Deception sur l absence de petit dejeuner alors que la reservation hotel.com le prevoyait.
