Hotel it. Osaka Shinmachi

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi Osaka|0.59km from Chikurinji
Came here twice first as part of a group tour and second by ourselves.... the hotel is bright and airy, the rooms light and beds extremely comfortable. the rims have individual split system cool/heat which is much appreciated for those such as myself who enjoy a cooler room. mini bar & air purifier were also well used. the room configuration for us was a little odd and not practical as friends sharing.... the toilet is a separate room (with the door so close to the toilet you have to shimmy round to close) the door.. moreso the sink is in the actual room. I don't like coming out of the toilet to wash my hands and disturbing my friend. also having the bath/shower arrangement with no where to stay really dry unless you come out of the shower (again not practical when sharing as friends) .... however the products provided were excellent and the water pressure also good. a kettle was provided and limited tea/filter coffee provided. Next door to the hotel is a massive supermarket that you can get pretty much anything you want!! However the TV did not have 1 english speaking channel (for a hotel that caters for international visitors this did surprise me, as i've traveled all over the world and there's always 1 - usually news) the window coverings whilst look nice (wooden venetian blinds ) they are not blockout and as such the room gets light before 6 am! As our flight leaves late in the evening we wanted to have a late checkout - the hotel does offer extended check out at a price, however because we were leaving on a Saturday we paid for another night. the bar prices are reasonable (approx $8 AU for a well poured glass of bubbles!) and we had wood fired pizza in the restaurant that was $24 AU each. Breakfast was simple but tasty. (avoid opening time if you can it's a free for all) going down about 8 was quiet lots of seating. Of note the bacon, muesli and yoghurt were all great. lots of asian options

Hotel Route-Inn Osaka Honmachi

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi Osaka|1.07km from Chikurinji
We stayed to participate in Samsoni. In addition to Samsoni participants, it seems to be a place to stay for Samsoni staff, and the staff 々 was arrived by a large bus at midnight. At first, I decided to use the shuttle bus from Cosmo Square Station, and I decided to stay at this hotel near awaza station where I could go without transfer, but I found that the waiting time for the shuttle bus was half-finished. I changed my itinerary from Universal Studios to the venue by taxi and went from awaza station to the venue via the YUME Saki line. On the way back, I didn't catch a taxi from the venue, so I walked about 45 minutes from the venue to the nearest Sakurajima station of Universal Studios and took a transfer from Sakurajima station to awaza station. This route is a hole? Or, I was really saved by sitting on the train for both round trips. It was a cheap plan for check-in after 23 o'clock, so it was just a good time when the live was finished and headed to the hotel. Before the bath, we launched at the takoyaki tavern ”Tsuji” near the hotel, and the public bath can be used until midnight 2, so we were able to heal the fatigue slowly, the public bath is the best! The tavern's cherry blossom family also had a 々 return to Samasoni and was soaked in the afterglow. 5 floor? Or it was a single non-smoking room, but it was comfortable with everything you need in the compact. I used a large bath at night and the next morning, so I didn't use the bath in the room, but Karan and washlet were new and comfortable. There was a large bath and a washroom, the bathtub was large and the dressing room was clean. There is a security box with a card key in the room. The room had both equipped slippers and disposable slippers, which was clean. There is also a window. The buffet breakfast was free, but I had a lunch schedule, so I thought I would eat lightly, but what! I was glad that there was porridge for light people (consideration for hangover people?) (for foreigners?). The stomach was healed by porridge, yogurt and * baking. There were many side dishes, and in the time zone where there were many users, the side dishes were prepared 2 lanes and were able to take the buffet in 2 rows. Breakfast time also decreased to 1 lanes in the latter half. Before check-in, I also had a luggage at the front desk, and I saw other participants in Samasoni painted sunscreen and prepared. The surrounding area is not a busy downtown, but even if you come back tired, you will arrive at the hotel in about 2 minutes walk from awaza station, and there are many convenience stores, so I think it is really convenient. I would like to use it next time I participate in Samasoni in Osaka. Thank you!

Hotel Shiki Utsubo Park

This is one of the largest hotel rooms I have stayed in Japan at this price range. The building is small and relatively narrow, bit the room is extremely spacious. I think there are only two rooms per floor. The heat worked very well. There are big windows for plenty of natural light. The only downside is that the door to the (narrow) balcony cannot be opened so you cant step out. Not sure why. The big PLUS was how the Manager, Maeda-san treated us. He was very courteous and helpful with all our requests. We asked him for advice about where to park and he suggested using the coin park across the way that listed a max rate of 1.800JPY per day. We parked the car and did not move it between Jan 2nd and Jan 5th at about 11:00AM. We were expecting to pay 1,800 x 3 = 5,400 JPY. However I was shocked to see the total charge of nearly 16,500 JPY. Apparently the vehicle must be moved everyday to qualify for that 1,800JPY max rate. It certainly wasn't clear anywhere so I complained to Maeda-san. He spent a lot of time on the phone trying to resolve the issue with the parking place (remote management). Unfortunately he could not do anything but promised to resolve the issue and asked me for my mobile number. I wrote this off as ”Gaijin tax” - for not knowing how to read the small print. To my absolute surprise, more than a month later, Maeda san called me and told me that he had negotiated a refund! He asked for my bank info and the parking place refunded 12,000 JPY. I was totally amazed that he had diligently followed on this issue and convinced the parking company to refund the amount. Thank you Maeda-san for your Omotenashi and genuine hospitality. You can be sure we will stay here again when we are in Osaka. Its a great location and the hospitality is TOPS!

Hotel NCB Osaka

Nakanoshima Osaka|1.21km from Chikurinji

I went to the concert in Grand Cube Osaka so I stayed for two nights on Monday 〜 Wednesday. It was the first time that such a close hotel from the concert hall was very easy. However, Nakanoshima itself is a little far from the city such as Osaka and Nanba, and the subway and JR access are not good. If you stay as a base for sightseeing in Osaka, I recommend a hotel a little closer to the city or along a good access route. First of all, the price is the special mention. I can't believe it because I usually use a hotel in Kanto for about 10000 yen in twin 2 nights and 3 days even on weekdays. Check out is 10 o'clock, but you can check out late (1 hour 1000 yen per person). I extended it until 12 o'clock and added 4000 yen. The check-in was smooth by checking and disinfecting at the front desk. During my stay, the staff was polite and good. There are paper cups, instant coffee, slippers, etc. beside the front desk. The ladies' set was only cotton and cotton swab, so you should have makeup, makeup water, emulsion, etc. (the above makeup drop was written in the present and elevator in the word of mouth posting of other travel sites. I would be happy to prepare it in defo If you are put on the room rate, you may not be able to do it. There is a microwave oven in the back of the lobby at the entrance, so I could warm the meal I took back and I was able to stay in the room. I don't think it's troublesome to shop because there are seven eleven open until 23 o'clock next to the front desk. (There was also a 7-Eleven 24-hour laundry nearby) There is a laundry on the first basement floor, two drum washing dryers and 3kg 500 yen (2 hours). However, it will be closed at 22:30, so I recommend early time if you are used. In my case, I asked the front desk around 21 o'clock and extended it to too much 24 o'clock. I stayed in twin so it became a spacious corner room with 4 rooms on the 7th floor. The key is not a card key only by 1 books. As a particular good point, the hardness of the pillow and bed was perfect for my taste. I have been hit by a hotel that has a hard bed and pillow and is not very comfortable, but it was so soft and very sleepy here. I didn't expect the room facilities because there was no breakfast overnight, but the unit bus toilet is clean and hot water and shower come out at high temperature. The dryer was weak and I was fine with short hair, but my long wife was in trouble. It is no problem if you stay alone, but there is a problem that the toilet in the bath cannot be used if you stay with two people. Other hotels have toilets on the front floor, but they were not found in this hotel. The air conditioner is also effective, but the humidifier is essential because the room is very dry. The humidifier is lent at the front desk, so let's borrow it without forgetting at check-in. The outlet was on the bed pillow side, the foot window and the desk, and the charging of the smartphone and mobile battery was not inconvenient. There is free Wi-Fi, but the radio wave strength is weak and often cut off, and it was not a level that can be expected honestly. Only the dryer and Wi-Fi were now one, but overall it is very satisfying. If there is another event in the Grand Cube, it was a good hotel that I would like to use.

Hotel Livemax Osaka Dome Mae Hotel

It is very convenient because you can walk to Kyocera Dome! The problem is that it is a little narrow. It's too small for two people to sleep. The minus point is that the front desk is not always open!
Bijou Suites Lieto APM

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi
I used this place last time as well. It's within walking distance from Kyocera Dome, and there are supermarkets along the way, so I used it again this time, but this time I didn't receive an email with check-in instructions the day before, so I was really nervous. And for some reason, there was natto in the refrigerator, so I wonder if they didn't check the inside of the refrigerator when cleaning? I tought. The room is clean and the location is good, so I would like to use it again if I have a chance next time.
Rest Kujo Apartment

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi
Before I traveled, I didn't read the check-in information sent by the customer service. After I arrived at the apartment, I found a circle of service desks and couldn't find it. I called the apartment contact number to know that it was a homestay and the check-in was self-service. Check out today and saw the check-in instructions on Ctrip.com two days earlier. Transportation: It is very close to Jiujo Station, but we are going to Universal Studios, so we have to go to Xijiujo Station. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the apartment to Xijiujo Station? It's fast, it seems that there is no 20 minutes to the tram stop. Environment: The surrounding area is quiet and not noisy. Convenience store is very close, McDonald's is actually nearby, there are Japanese-style izakayas around, there are also Chinese cuisine, eat it according to your own taste~ The apartment is well equipped and very clean. If you have your own favorite accommodation supplies, it is recommended to bring your own. The room has free wifi, which is fine. Overall comparison is quite good, wins in cost-effective, if someone is going to play Universal Studios, will recommend this.

The Host was VERY VERY helpful! I had an early morning flight, she helped me with the cab and bookings, she was very generous and courteous. Loved the vibe and place! must stay!!

It was the best hostel I've ever been to! It was comfortable because it was unmanned and the facilities were so good. It was enough for two people to use. It was fun ㅎㅎ Like an apartment like Airbnb? I personally liked it more because it was a real residence. The location is also right in front of Exit 2 of Awaza Station, so it's very convenient to take the subway and there are convenience stores around. I recommend it !!
