Hotel Lutetia, Paris

Paris|0.34km from Restaurant Cannelle
We had the complete pleasure of staying at this mind boggingly AMAZING hotel over spring break this year, four nights in total. We are a family of four (17 yr old son 14 yr old daughter), and all of us were completely blown away by the level of attention, committment to excellence, beauty of the facilities and location of this incredible place. It truly is the finest hotel we've ever stayed at, with good reason. From the moment we were met at the airport (transport arranged by the hotel) in a comfortable van equipped with every phone charger you could imagine, water bottles and towels for our faces and hands, to the minute we reluctantly checked out and said our good byes, our family felt known, cared for, and completely, 100% spoiled in a ways we could not have dreamed. Everyone from the concierges and guest services team (shout out to the enthusiastic and emminently cheerful Claire!) to the housekeeping and food people who dropped treats and little touches to make us so excited to come back to the room each day...to the waiters at the Brasserie and Bar Josephine (the best cosmo I've ever had, two nights in a row and fantastic live music) we are already dreaming of returning. Many hotels are having a difficult time finding enough staff, let alone people committed to going above and beyond providing excellent service...this hotel somehow has a lock on great individuals in every department. Other highlights: bathrooms cut out of solid marble. I took five minutes one morning trying imagine what it took to fabricate the sinks and bathtub out of solid stone and then get them into all the rooms. Mind blown. Fantastic water pressure from both the shower and bath. Sheets and pillows and beds that allowed all of us to sleep soundly every night. Both children said it was the best night's sleep they'd ever had away from home. Top of the line electronics and room organization...everything is automatic with lights (we didn't touch a switch in four days, I came home and told my husband what a ”drag” it was to have to actually turn my lights on. lol), and air conditioning/heat/curtains are all controlled from handy control wall panels in each room. Small touches in the closets of things you might have forgotten, lots of drawers and space to unpack and stay organized. The pool and spa is breathtaking, make sure to leave time to enjoy it! It truly is a five star hotel in every element imaginable. I cannot recommend Hotel Lutetia any higher. You will not regret it.

Hotel de Sevres

Paris|0.04km from Restaurant Cannelle
The hotel is close to quite a few Metro stops and within 40 minutes of departing at Gare du Nord we were at the hotel. We went direct to the hotel with the intention of dropping our bags but we were able to check in early which was blissful after our early start. The hotel was clean in the communal areas as well as our room. Our room was on the sixth floor with a view of the apartments not the city view as described. This did not really bother us as we don't generally spend much time in hotels. The room was warm so the aircon was always on at 16 degrees when present. The bathroom was a nice size with space to store toiletry bags. The hair drier was excellent (I have very long hair) but the cord could have been more flexible. It was nice to have plenty of space in the shower to put toiletries. There was a shower curtain which both my husband and I detest. It was clean! The main room was quite spacious with a large full length mirror. There was limited storage so a chest of drawers would have been useful - 2 small drawers in the desk was the only space for putting your smalls. My husband lived out of his suitcase! Only one comfy chair. We didn't book breakfast so can't comment on this although none of the staff asked us if we wanted breakfast and there was no information in the room as to what it included. ( we had breakfast in one of the many cafes around - 5- 12€) Likewise we had no idea what was available in the bar area or costs as there was no price list in the room. Being British I like my cuppa in the morning and due to medical conditions mint tea in the evening and during the night - next time we will bring our travel kettle! Limited sockets in the room for charging tech and if you have an iPad with no 4g then you will not be able to connect to wifi as you need to connect through a email. Internet was good. The room could do with a refurbishment as lots of holes in the walls. It did look like it had been repainted in recent years. Overall a good experience for our 4 night stay and if we went back to Paris we would consider this hotel again.

Hotel le Saint Gregoire

Hotel Saint Gregoire in the 6th of Paris has always been my ”go to” hotel when I travel to my favorite City of Lights. Easily tucked away a very short distance from Blvd Raspail & Rue des Rennes on the quiet street of Rue de l'Abbe Gregoire, you have quick access to 2 Metro lines, the Luxembourg gardens, shopping & cafes. The hotel is beautifully designed, the guest spaces of the lobby and breakfast room are intimate, inviting and warm - you're in someone's French home. Our guest room had a balcony where you can sit and enjoy your morning coffee, the bathroom had ample counter-space, the room had a most comfortable bed with chest of drawers and closet space for all you traveling clothes and store purchases. Breakfast included fresh breads (croissants of course), fresh fruit, eggs to order, etc. The staff is outstanding, from the friendly and most helpful receptionists to the accommodating breakfast server and thorough housekeeping. They will always have a greeting when you happen upon them. As a plus, there's an espresso machine in the downstairs salon of the lobby, so after a day of shopping or museum touring you can rest before making your way back to your room. I owe our amazing stays at the Hotel Saint Gregoire to the ever present, professional and most friendly general manager - par excellence!
Hotel des Grands Voyageurs

This hotel is the best in Paris for a week. The location is very convenient, go out is the 4th line There are many choices for eating around. Le Bon bon mache is the best mall in Paris within walking distance. The hotel rooms are modern, spacious and clean with air conditioning. Great service and free luggage storage. If you come to Paris next time, you will still choose here.

Hotel location is very good, one minute is the subway station at the entrance, walking to the Eiffel Tower for about half an hour, downstairs shops, restaurants, a lot of rooms, the room is bigger than expected, the front desk service is very good.
Hotel & Spa la Belle Juliette

Great location, lovely bakeries and shops nearby...quick Uber to any Paris location. Darling decor, excellent customer service and very clean, updated rooms. We stayed in a garden facing room and it was very quiet. We did not get to experience the spa due to a very busy itinerary but next time! Thank you to Mr and Mrs Smith for the recommendation! My daughter (18yrs) and I loved it and would love to come back. Well done.
Le Placide Saint Germain des Pres

Our entire family (8 adults and 2 children) spent a week in Paris, staying at Le Placide Hotel. It was wonderfull! The hotel's location, in a lively, yet quiet neighborhood, make's navigaing the city very easy, most popular sites are walkable, but there is also a metro stop nearby. The rooms are lovely; large and well furnished ; very comfortable. Most importantly, the staff is tremendous! Benjamin, and the front desk staff were very helpful answering questions before we arrived, and they could not have been more helpful during our stay. And finally, Susantha, the breakfast manager, quickly became a member of the family! His desire to exceed all expectations was remarkable, and his warmth was so welcoming every morning.
