MMarymlchanThe location is good. The hotel interior desires really nice or decorate by antique furniture and the lighting is very nice. You can take a lot of photo in the ground floor and corridor.
The room is the same as what I see in the website decoration is nice and clean. We went in May and the weather is hot and the hotel air condition is this is good enough. We got upgraded to bigger room and the washroom is very big.
The receptionist and or the hotel butler ( I forgot adked her name) is very friendly and helpful. I would like to said thank you to her.
The hotel provided free breakfast. It tastes good. We lived 2 nights and they very early in the morning that we cannot catch up the breakfast time. The hotel butler prepared takeout for us so that we can have it in airport. The breakfast included congee, homemade sausage, fruit, milk. It all tasted good.
I definitely will recommend to all my friend. I will book again when I come back..

They are friendly and helpful and gave us a food and attraction strategy guide which was very useful as our purpose in Hengdian was to visit the major filming studios. The estate was located deep in a neighbourhood area and we have a small problem locating the front entrance desk. Currently they are still doing upgrading to the estate with gardens and swimming pool (refer to photo). I'm sure it will look amazing once completed. The estate was built in 2023 from the ground up and was designed by the same designer who did the Qin Palace. No wonder this homestay has this ancient building look. The room was pretty nice but I find the bed to be too stiff. I'm used to a soft and cushy kind of bed back home and couldn't sleep well for the 3 nights we are there. My family members have no such problem though. Homemade breakfast was provided everyday by 1 of the cleaner cum cook lady. She was super friendly and the food are fantastic and healthy. This is definitely worth a look if you are looking for accomodation in Hengdian and want to experience a more localised feel compared to a standard hotel stay.

GGuest UserThe location is superb, and the rooms have so much character! The owner and staff are all incredibly nice. They even reminded us not to park under the trees because of falling blossoms! The breakfast is freshly made, and the fried dough sticks, mini wontons, and egg pancakes are all absolutely delicious! I wasn't happy with the room I initially chose, but the owner kindly offered to switch us and even refunded the price difference without us asking. They also gave great recommendations for local food and drinks. I'll definitely stay here again next time! Plus, one of the rooms even has a mahjong table – that's just fantastic!

GGuest UserI chose this hotel for a family trip, and it was a great choice. The environment is lovely, and the service is very warm and welcoming. There are also plenty of dining options nearby. Our room was clean and tidy, with a great hot water supply available 24/7. They even provide complimentary bottled water. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, so it wasn't noisy at all. I also appreciate the thoughtful touch of providing disposable toilet seat covers. It's very close to the scenic spots, making it convenient to drive or take a taxi. Plus, the hotel offers free parking. It's excellent value for money and I highly recommend it!

GGuest UserGuomao Building, a well-established four-star hotel in Hengdian, was my choice for a two-night stay during the Chinese New Year, and I had a fantastic experience. First off, the service was incredibly warm and attentive. The security guard at the entrance proactively helped with my luggage, and the front desk staff not only offered a complimentary children's meal but also provided a detailed guide to the film and television city. These thoughtful gestures, showing genuine care for guests, were truly heartwarming. Secondly, the room facilities were spotless. Despite the hotel having been in operation for some years, the cleanliness standards have not wavered. All amenities were well-maintained and fully functional, and the room temperature was set perfectly, making for a very comfortable stay. Lastly, the breakfast was a highlight. In addition to the standard offerings, they served local specialties like 'Mai Jiao' (wheat dumplings) and 'Mi Guo' (rice cakes). It wasn't just filling; it offered a taste of local culture too.

SSasyaaMalay Malaysian guest here😍 I stayed here for two nights as I was visiting Hengdian. overall I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. Cleanliness was very satisfying, the room n toilet were well maintained. The bathroom came with basic amenities like slippers, toothbrush, towels, and a floor mat. The shower, sink, and both hot and cold water worked perfectly.
The room was also well equipped with a kettle, cups, and some sachets (possibly coffee or tea). The TV and air conditioning were both functioning well, which made the stay comfortable.
One of the best things about this hotel is definitely the location. It’s situated along Wansheng Street, which is very lively and happening at night. You can easily walk around as everything is nearby, plenty of shops, restaurants, and even a pharmacy right in front of the hotel. For Muslim travelers like us, this location is especially convenient as there is a halal restaurant (qingzhen) just across the hotel, making it very easy to find halal food.
The receptionist was also very helpful and friendly. Even though there was a language barrier, they still tried their best to communicate and assist us.
Another great facility is the laundry room near the lobby. It’s very convenient, with 2 washing machines, a dryer, a steam iron n even detergent provided.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, facilities, and especially its strategic location✨✨✨✨✨

✅Service: The front desk staff are practically mind-readers! I was just about to look for a charging cable, and they already handed one over. When I checked out, they even gave me two bottles of water for the road – so thoughtful.
✅Breakfast: Breakfast is served until 10 AM, which is a dream for late risers! I had two bowls of wontons. My only 'suggestion': Can the egg chef please stop asking me 'sunny side up or over easy' every time? Just give me a soft-boiled egg, please! 😄
✅Hanfu Experience: Free! Free! Free! The styles are quite new and don't have that cheap 'ten-yuan photo studio' feel. I spent half an hour taking photos in the hotel garden, saving myself 60 yuan on hanfu rental at the scenic spot. Small suggestion: It would be even more perfect if they could provide a few simple hair clips or fan props. With just the clothes, my hands didn't know where to go...
✅Location: It's about a 5-minute walk to the scenic area's main entrance – literally 'out the hotel door, and around the corner'. If you get tired, you can come back to relax and then head out again. It's a blessing for those traveling with seniors or children.
Overall, it's a super high-value, one-stop accommodation for lazy travelers. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Hopefully, they'll have a few more XL-sized Hanfu outfits then! 😂

It was slightly larger than the others due to a protruding section, though the window might have been a bit smaller, which I personally found to be sufficient. The bed was great and comfortable, and I didn't notice any significant cleanliness issues. Breakfast was just average but filling. There's a night market right next door, making shopping convenient. Overall, this family room offers great value for its price.

I recently stayed at this hotel with my two friends and had a pleasant experience overall. The owner, a lovely lady, was incredibly friendly and made sure I felt welcome throughout my stay. The location is super convenient, with plenty of restaurants, fruit markets, and mini supermarkets nearby, making it easy to explore and grab anything you need.
The hotel is about 16 km away from the main attractions, roughly an hour's drive, so it’s a bit out of the way, but that also means it's quieter. The room itself was not the cleanest, but for the price, it was worth it. The essentials were covered with hot water, air conditioning, and all the basic amenities you’d expect, including free toiletries.
One of the best parts is that the hotel accepts foreigners without any issues, which made my stay stress-free. If you're looking for budget-friendly accommodation with all the basic comforts and a very kind host, this place is a solid choice.
