Felt super scary at first with the cracking floor, tilted walls, big mirror, and 512 years history, but later the place showed its charm - very lively at night with people chilling at the backyard, nice restaurant on site, being right opposite to the Anne? Gate which leads you to the Salisbury Cathedral. I prob would choose to stay here again next time I visit Salisbury!
Btw the staff are warm hearted and helped us deal with our Apple Watch forgot in the room. Much appreciated!

Facilities: Some old hotels are hundreds of years old after all, but they are well maintained
Hygienic: clean and tidy, but because it is a wooden structure, there is always a musty smell in the corridor, which cannot be removed.
Environment: Very good, there is a door to the yard in the room, go out is the small river, there is a gray, white and two swans, every time you come to breakfast, you will swim over.
Service: very warm and responsive

The best hotel we have been in this trip, lovely buildings, nice reception, and a perfect breakfast, room is big and bed is very soft and comfortable. Very clean and quiet for a nice evening, outside you can see the cathedral, generally, I will choose here again in the future

I had a pleasant stay at The George Hotel. The location is excellent and very convenient, especially for visiting Stonehenge. The room was clean and comfortable, and the heating with adjustable temperature was a big plus during winter. Breakfast was served on time and was decent. Overall, a good value stay with a great location.

Miguel CarepaVery beautiful place. Nice location to visit Old Sarum, Stonehenge or even only Salisbury. Staff are friendly. Beautiful views through the window. Bed is really comfy.

Very convenient location but the restaurant next to the hotel is certainly not up to the standard expected. Fortunately the hotel is near to the Centre of Salisbury and you can easily find a good restaurant for dinner there
