Amazing
KKuznetsovEEThe hotel is conveniently located, about a 5-minute walk from the station. The staff are very friendly, and the hotel feels new overall. However, there were a few minor imperfections in my room, such as a chipped corner of the baseboard. I stayed in December and used the air conditioner for heating, which worked fine. Breakfast is served on the 2nd floor, with access by room key via the elevator. The selection is quite good and includes European options. The menu changes slightly, so it does not get boring. There are signs asking guests to return their used trays themselves, so please keep that in mind. Regarding the signs, I was surprised that in this hotel you need to specifically request room cleaning at the reception. I have stayed in many hotels where the door sign has two sides, “Do Not Disturb” and “Please Clean the Room”. Here, the sign had only one side, “Do Not Disturb”. I think this is something the hotel could improve, as it is not very convenient to ask for room cleaning separately. It would also be helpful to add more English translations. For example, all the buttons on the TV remote control are labeled only in Japanese, and the notice on the slippers saying “please do not take them home” is also only in Japanese. I can understand some Japanese, but for other foreign guests this may be confusing.

LLishangfengFirst time in Chiba, and choosing this hotel was absolutely the right decision. It's a three to five-minute walk from Chiba Station, making getting around super convenient. The Perie mall at Chiba Station is also fantastic for shopping and dining, and it even offers duty-free services. Although the hotel is a bit older, the facilities are well-maintained, clean, tidy, and attention to detail is evident. You can choose daily housekeeping or just towel changes. If you opt for just towel changes, the staff will hang a bag with fresh towels on your doorknob and even provide a complimentary bottle of water, which is a nice touch! The front desk on the second floor offers free toiletries, tea bags, and coffee sachets, which is great! The front desk staff and floor attendants are all warm and polite, making for a very pleasant experience. A Japanese male staff member at the front desk, whose name tag read Kudo, even spoke Chinese, which made communication seamless. I have two suggestions: first, it would be perfect if the TV had screen mirroring functionality, and second, the queen-sized mattress has a slight dip in the middle and should probably be replaced.

JJRCaliLocation was great! right by the west exit for JR Chiba station - very luggage friendly station as well a 24hr Lawson right outside the 2nd floor entrance and a 7/11 down on the ground floor. Staff were polite, easy self storage for luggage by the check in area. Self check in was great, amenities and robes by the elevator before heading up and overall loation is perfect for sightseeing and oneward travels to and from Narita airport or into Tokyo.

KKyoko_.One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The breakfast was amazing and delicious, and the bathroom was so clean that I felt comfortable using the bathtub (ofuro). They changed the towels and bed sheets every day. They are so detail-oriented that even the cups and napkins had the hotel’s name on them. Thank you so much for the wonderful days!!

AAmelie ChiangThis trip was to watch a VNL game. Since the venue was Chiba Port Stadium, I used JR Chiba Station as my search point. When looking for accommodation, I noticed that rooms in Tokyo within my budget were generally small. The rooms at this hotel were quite different in size. Reviews mentioned the hotel's facilities were geared towards a ”love hotel” atmosphere, so although I was a little hesitant, I booked it anyway because I had a companion. Upon checking in, I found the room to be incredibly spacious. The bathroom was separate from the toilet, and the bathtub was large enough to lie down in. There was a dressing area next to the sink. The bedroom, besides the bed, also had a small living room. Two suitcases could be easily opened. In addition to the room amenities, the hotel lobby offered many supplies (different brands of shampoo, bath salts, and basic skincare products), simple snacks, and red and white wine (though I didn't try them, so I don't know how they tasted). The posters also showed some free facilities that could be reserved (rock bath, karaoke, etc.), but we didn't use them, so I don't know how they were. Breakfast was included, and it was quite delicious. Overall, the stay was very comfortable, and it's very close to Chiba Chuo Station on the Keisei Electric Railway, making transfers to Tokyo convenient. Now that I've covered the pros, let's talk about the cons 😆 First, judging from the room's amenities, it really feels like a Japanese ”love hotel.” There are sheer curtains on the bedside pillars that can be lowered (like a princess bed?), and the bedroom and bathroom lights can be adjusted (for ambiance?). Balinese-style music plays throughout the hotel, which is in comparison to other hotels I've stayed at. The biggest drawback is that at night, the entire street outside the hotel is lined with male escorts. Although they know we're foreigners and won't bother us, having to navigate through them to get to convenience stores and shops near the station still felt quite stressful. If you're a solo female traveler planning to stay at this hotel, please definitely consider this factor.

GGuest UserI stayed here for two nights at the beginning of May because I had a live concert at Makuhari Messe. It was only a short train ride from Makuhari, and on the way back it was quiet and relaxing as most people were heading towards Tokyo. It was also very convenient to get to the airport by train. The facilities were very clean, and the location was easy to find as you exit Soga Station, so I would definitely stay here again.

AAnonymous UserPleasantly Spacious Rooms, Stunning Breakfast Views, but Bus Stop Location Needs Improvement This hotel offers surprisingly spacious rooms for the price point, which was a definite plus. While my room on a lower floor didn't have the sea view mentioned in some descriptions, I found it comfortable and well-sized. A true highlight was the breakfast on the 21st floor. The panoramic views were absolutely beautiful and made for a delightful start to the day. The sauna was adequate, though not particularly memorable. The one significant drawback was the difficulty in locating the bus shuttle. The absence of a clearly marked location or a QR code made finding it quite frustrating. This is an area the hotel should definitely address to improve the guest experience.
