The room was very clean and tidy, and the staff was very patient in introducing the room. The meals every day were local specialties. Most importantly, they even provided private hot springs for people like me who have some mysophobia. The hotel environment was very good and the hot springs were very comfortable and clean! ! ! !

Guest UserThis is a traditional Japanese hotel with an excellent location and good service. The public bath is open 24 hours, and the rooms are large and comfortable, though the facilities are a bit dated. Overall, it offers great value for money. The WiFi doesn't reach all rooms, and there's no signal at all on the fourth floor, which needs improvement.

Hotel service is very thoughtful, warm, dinner is very rich, breakfast is very rich, there is a shuttle bus, the room is very large and comfortable, the terrace view is open, and there is welcome drink in the lobby.

Beautiful hotel on a beautiful river. Large georgeous room.
For Japanese standards the service was just ok. Much nicer greeting upon arrival. Was left to drag my suitcases out the door with a wonderful old lady trying to help me. Of course I could not allow her to lift the heavy bags. All the other people were not available to help or see me out. Extremely rude by Japanese standards. Coffee at breakfast I was told to get at the coffee machine. Substandard for the class of hotel.

Yiluyuan is right beside the famous Hexian Creek. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the hotel lobby face the scenic area, offering excellent views of the mountains and water. Free beer, plum wine and wine are available in the lobby and bathhouse lounge area. Breakfast and dinner are served buffet style, and you will have to lean on the wall to eat. The facilities in the hot spring house are very complete, including a sauna room and an open-air bath beside the gurgling stream, which is very enjoyable.

The customer service was excellent. We didn’t expect to get a really big room and it comes with breakfast and dinner buffet which to be honest was some of the best I’ve had in Japan. I can’t wait to go back. Cleanliness could definitely be improved though but nothing too crazy to be turned off with.

Guest UserCtrip advertised free airport/train station pick-up, but after experiencing it myself, I realized it's a lie. First, there are time restrictions for pick-up; it has to be at the time shown in my photo. I only found out this after having the hotel call them the day before. Second, pick-up is not free; it costs 150 yen per person. It's not about the money, it's about the fact that it's not free. Ctrip shouldn't mislead people. That day, I had to take the bus myself, get off at the nearest stop to the hotel, and walk for about ten minutes. It was an extremely hot day, with a temperature of 39 degrees Celsius and the sun blazing.

KING & QUEEN
The hotel is relatively remote and more suitable for self-driving tourists. My friends and I are not self-driving this time. It is easy to find by taking a bus for about half an hour at Kaga Hot Spring Station. The hotel also has a special car to take us from the hotel to Kaga Hot Spring Station.
The hotel is very large, the room is very large, Japanese style, very good experience, the hot springs have open-air and indoor, the open-air hot springs are very good, completely bathed in the mountains and forests, a great experience!

During our 2 night-stay, the breakfasts N dinners were awesome, mouth watering & flavorful! Best meals on our 12-day trip in Japan.
The shuttle bus service was a great help. Every service personnel we interacted with during our stay were warm N hospitable! Their smiles and greetings made us felt welcome.
