Very Good
GGuest UserThe hotel is in walking distance of the center and people's park. They have friendly and helpful personell. The breakfast and evening buffet was delicious. There are a lot of Philippine dishes in the buffet.
My room was spacious and comfortable. There is an outside pool of good size next to a bar. The problem with the pool is, that like some hotels in Asia, there is far too much chlorine inside the pool. As I was swimming there, I became problems with the skin and the lips because of too much acid caused by too much chlorine in the water.
YYkhca_TravelsI absolutely adore this hotel! The service is nothing short of superb, with staff members who are both attentive and welcoming, making every moment feel special. The facilities are top-notch, featuring everything one could desire for a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the rooftop bar and restaurant, where I was treated to an exquisite dining experience paired with breathtaking views. To top it all off, the complimentary drinks were a delightful surprise, elevating my overall experience even further. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for anyone seeking a memorable getaway in Davao!
AAnonymous UserI had an excellent stay at Hotel Uno. The parking space was very convenient, which made traveling stress-free. I was also amazed that the famous Davao Roxas Night Market was just nearby, making it easy to enjoy local food and culture. I stayed for a night for business purposes, and everything went smoothly. Overall, a highly recommended place for both business and leisure.
YYkhca_TravelsWe arrived a bit late on our first night and were accommodated poorly. After a long day of travel, we encountered several issues with our room arrangements. I had booked two rooms, expecting them to be close to each other, but that was not the case. As a family travelling together, we requested to have our rooms swapped to be nearer, yet we were only allowed to add an extra bed. This was not ideal, especially since my mom couldn't stay alone in a room meant for 6 to 8 people, which I had already paid for.
When I spoke to the front desk, who I believe was the manager on duty at the time, her tone was unpleasing and lacked empathy for us as guests. It was a disappointing negotiation. We also discussed issues with the internet connection, and she seemed unyielding, suggesting that nothing could be done except to pay for a data plan, for which they would provide a modem.
Having stayed at many hotels and being a hotel manager, I can clearly say that our service was inadequate.
AAvid_TravelerPros
- clean comfortable room
- near the cost line with view over the channel
- super polite staff
- great family pool area
- used to the place being full so it’s organised extremely well
- 24 hour room service
Cons
- no concierge to greet new guests getting out of taxis
- No one to show you to your room! Have to find your own way.
- loud banging doors waking guests very early in the morning due to neighbours from doors next to one another (see pictures)
- bird poo all over the windows (see pictures)
- breakfast buffet was just okay.. self service coffee and not great food.
A decent hotel but somewhat ruined by poor welcome and the early morning noise of other guests. Ask for a quiet rooms.
JJohn Henry AriñoI had a very comfortable and convenient stay at this condo bed spacer. The place is clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the privacy curtain and personal storage space. The air conditioning and Wi-Fi were both strong, and the common areas (kitchen and bathroom) were regularly cleaned.
The location is perfect — close to public transportation, shops, and restaurants. The host/landlord was very responsive and easy to talk to, which made the whole process smooth from check-in to check-out.
Highly recommended for students, young professionals, or anyone looking for a budget-friendly but decent place to stay in the city!
BBroshStaff are very approachable and considerate. The elevator doesn't work when you are from the 4th floor. The floor under the beds need sweeping. Would stay again because of its affordability, nearness to Bangkerohan market, San Pedro cathedral, and easy access to a lot of affordable food options and public transportation.
YYkhca_TravelsWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the heart of the city. My partner and I experienced excellent service, mainly when an incident arose that required us to visit the hospital. The staff were exceptionally cooperative in providing an incident report, which was incredibly helpful for our insurance reimbursement process.
While the hotel is somewhat older and the amenities could be upgraded, I still felt very comfortable during our stay.
I would recommend this place.
GGuest UserI really like the place, the amenities are are nice and clean. Only the location but thanks it was a good experience to stay in Lamonique transient room.
