Μειναμε στο ξενοδοχειο για επαγγελματικούς λόγους και για λόγους εγγυτητας με συγκεκριμενη εταιρεία. Η κράτηση αφορούσε αρχικά 3 ημερες. Τη 3η ημέρα ζητήσαμε επέκταση της κράτησης για 2 επιπλέον ημέρες, η οποία έγινε δεκτή, αλλά ενημερωθήκαμε οτι θα αλλάζαμε δωμάτιο, το οποίο θα ετοιμαζόταν αργότερα. Έχοντας μαζί μου το σακο μου, έφυγα για την επαγγελματική υποχρέωση, επέστρεψα αργά το βράδυ και ενημερώθηκα απο το ξενοδοχείο πως δεν υπήρχε κρατηση και το ξενοδοχείο ήταν πλήρες!!! Αναγκάστηκα να αναζητησω νέο ξενοδοχείο στις 12 τα μεσάνυχτα.Φτάνοντας στο νεο ξενοδοχείο διαπίστωσα οτι ειχα ξεχασει στο ΑΘΛΟΣ hotel το τσαντακι με τα καλλυντικα μου. Την επομενη ημερα τηλεφωνησα για να περασω να το παρω και πηρα την απαντηση πως δεν εχουν βρει τίποτα. Τους ζητησα να επικοινωνησουν με το προσωπικο καθαριοτητας και να μου τηλεφωνησουν, κατι που δεν εκαναν. Στο δευτερο τηλεφωνημα μου επεμεναν στο οτι δεν ειχε ξεχαστει κατι και εδειξαν μεγαλη δυσαρεσκεια για την επιμονη μου. Πρόκειται για ενα συμπαθητικο ξενοδοχειο, αποκλειστικά λόγω θέσης, το οποίο υποβαθμίζεται από την απαραδεκτη και αγενή συμπεριφορα του προσωπικου.

The staff at the hotel are first class. Very welcoming, approachable, professional and friendly. Always there when you need something. You could feel the strong bonds between the hotel staff, like a family. The panoramic view of Thessaloniki from the hotel is simple stunning and I was very much enthralled by it. You can see from the airport on the left, all the way over to the city centre on the right. And on a clear day you can see Mt. Olympus in the distance. The rooms were well furnished and the hotel was decorated for Greek Easter, with some unexpected Easter treats in the room when we arrived. I also loved the collection of team memorabilia, who have stayed in the hotel. I would not hesitate to stay again. In fact would visit Thessaloniki just to stay in the hotel again!

The room had an unsafe door handle which could have easily been opened without a key card. Staff said this was normal. We did take photos of this as we were shocked this was classed as normal. We stayed in many places during our stay in Greece and loved how friendly it was and had no hotel issues at all. Shower and facilities in this hotel were passable.The hotel had put a blue rope next to the pool but no official signage to say it was closed. It was a calm, sunny afternoon and the swimming pool was closed due to apparent adverse weather conditions leaving many families and children disappointed as this was the only reason they had booked the hotel. We booked a standard double room with balcony which we got. Our view was awful as it overlooked a motorway and car hire company but we did get what was advertised and did not complain about this. Not the hotels fault but the area was plagued with mosquitos and lots of children were savaged by this (you could see them everywhere). The breakfast provided had a good range of different food options and was quite nice. Other good points about this hotel were that the some staff were friendly and the free shuttle out of the place was easy with a friendly driver. If you have an early flight this hotel would be ok but you should arrive late in the evening to not be disappointed,

The hotel is clean and the sea view is great. The service is thoughtful and thoughtful, take the initiative to help with the luggage, remind the room facilities how to use, breakfast staff to ask if you need coffee, take the initiative to help you call the good early.
