"The hotel is great. Room is extremely clean, has refillable water bottle in room for free, hairdryer, and great AC. Staff is kind and on the details, they give you towels for the beach, and includes breakfast which is savory and fresh. Location is perfect for walking the town and just around thw block from the main square. You wont regret it!"

Globales Don Pedro Adults Only +16 ★★★★

📍 Carrer Cala Clara, 4, Illes Balears, Cala de Sant Vicenc

"This was our second stay at Globales Don Pedro, having stayed two years ago, and we came back almost entirely because of the location. We honestly don’t think it can be beaten. Cala Sant Vicenç is beautiful, peaceful and surrounded by crystal clear water. The setting is genuinely stunning and has so much potential. We did have issues on our first visit two years ago. The food was hit and miss, the choice was limited and the drinks weren’t great. However, we still enjoyed our stay and felt the location and mid range price made it worth returning. Unfortunately, this time we left feeling that the hotel has somehow gone even more downhill rather than improved. The food was extremely hit and miss again. Some meals were fine, others really disappointing, and the choice remains limited, but this to be honest I would expect of a hotel within the price range they offer. You know what you’re getting. The biggest disappointment was the all inclusive drinks. They weren’t amazing last time either, but there wasn’t the huge divide between all inclusive and paying guests that there is now. The all inclusive drinks menu is heavily reduced, but more importantly, the same drink can taste completely different depending on whether you pay for it. Paid cocktails are properly made and served in the correct glass, whereas the all inclusive versions are pre made, all taste very similar and are served in a small, cheap looking glass. Even a mimosa! It isn’t about expecting premium cocktails for free. It’s about the fact that there is such a blatant difference in quality, preparation and presentation. You can literally watch a paying guest receive a properly made cocktail in a nice glass, then order the same thing as an AI guest and receive something pre-mixed in a cheap glass. The difference is impossible not to notice. It made the all-inclusive package feel like a con rather than a benefit. More importantly, it made the whole hotel feel cheap. For a hotel sitting in such a beautiful location, this was incredibly disappointing and completely unnecessary. The AI options at the snack bar- heavily reduced and again poor quality. It’s so strange. The hotel is also looking tired. Two years later, we saw very little sign of investment or upkeep. There were missing tiles around the pool, and the Bali beds on the top sun deck have largely been replaced with basic white sun loungers. It gives the impression that everything is being run as cheaply as possible. There is also a huge, strange unused area at the top of the hotel. Two years ago, we assumed they were developing it into something, apparently not! It remains almost completely empty, with a few basic seats and virtually no lighting once the sun goes down. Such a huge wasted space when it could be used for so much. Our final experience was honestly awful. As the hotel was fully booked, we couldn’t have a late checkout, which we understand. We were instead offered use of the shower room before leaving. I cannot"

"What a gem of a place. As previous reviewers have said rooms are on the small side but we had a balcony that was lovely to sit on and watch the world go by. That being said the room was nicely designed and had a spacious bathroom with a great shower. The location is amazing with a few steps down to the beach. The included breakfast had everything you could want and was freshly made. The absolute icing on the cake is the staff. You wouldn't get better service at the most expensive hotel on the island. So helpful and friendly and the ladies on reception went over and above to make our stay just perfect."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Hoposa Uyal. For us the location was great, it was on the sea front at the quiet end of town but within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were comfortable but would have benefitted from one of two more chairs to put things on."

"Last minute change of plan this hotel was available in our favourite resort so we booked. The hotel for us served a purpose it was generally clean and our room was cleaned everyday plus fresh towels each day. The room was bigger than the one we stayed in twice at its other hotel in the group The Capri, beds were comfortable, shower room was a good size and there was plenty of storage space plus we had a decent size balcony overlooking the road. The food for breakfast was ok nothing special although some of the hot food looked very well done! Our biggest fault were the staff none of them ever spoke to you (except the room cleaner) People on reception never said good morning or even looked up as they seemed to be to busy on their phones nobody seemed to enjoy working here as they all looked fed up which so different to the Capri where everyone was friendly , chatting and looked happy in what they were doing. Would we stay again yes we would if it was a hastily arranged holiday and if it was a future planned holiday no we wouldn’t even though location was ok."

"Our stay at this hotel was a truly wonderful experience. The facilities were excellent and very well maintained. We especially enjoyed the jacuzzis, which were perfect for relaxing, and the semi-Olympic swimming pool, which was great for both swimming and spending quality time with the family. The inflatable play area for the children was a fantastic addition—they had an amazing time and didn't want to leave the water. The atmosphere was welcoming, the staff were friendly and attentive throughout our stay, and everything contributed to making our holiday unforgettable. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway."

"Clean and pleasant enough stay. Good 20 minute walk into the main hub. Stones throw walk to the beach which was great along with plenty of sunbeds around pool. However room was only ‘cleaned’ every other day. I use word cleaned loosely as beds not made properly(not that it bothered us much) but makes you wonder what effort they put into the rest. Asked for change of bed sheets and had to change them myself, perhaps expecting too much as it is apartments. Pool was the biggest bug bear, turned my and families swimming costumes yellow along with skin; washed off the skin but ruined swimwear. The side of the pool tiles turned yellow(maintenance would just come round daily to clean this off.) Never been in a chlorine pool that did this around the pool. Begs the question if the pool is safe. So we stopped going in. Nothing was done when spoken to reception, as the week went on all we could see was it affecting more people. The lifeguard on duty is great and does a wonderful job, very helpful and friendly. Great in/outdoor sitting area with pool table which kids can use. Somewhere to stay if you like holiday stroll, spacious apartment and beach right on your doorstep. Just beware of the pool please"

"We are still here on week 2, and we have already rebooked the same time next year to come back. Easy parking at this time of year in the street. Might be noisy in school holidays, and we had an odd bunch of noisy lads who were obviously lost and thought they were in Maga but seemed to only stay one night. Other than that, accommodation is very clean, comfy beds. Only one street back from Pinewalk if you're after being close to the beach. 10 min walk to town centre as well along the pinewalk. Failing that 2 mins away is The Store bar and food."

"Firstly positives are the staff are brilliant and the villaconcha hotel is spotlessly clean Negatives are that the apartments in the corner of Montelin block are absolutely awful. Not fit for 3 people. The wardrobe is in the middle of the room. The worst part being the balcony overlooks 3 other balconies. You could touch the people they were that close. Our advice is if you are offered any of the 4 apartments in the corner - DO NOT accept them and ask to be moved Breakfast hot food is not hot- barely warm"

Panorama Hotels in Pollensa

Panorama

"Incredible hotel! We stayed at Hotel Panorama in June 2024 and did not know if what to expect. We had a very late arrival but the check in instructions were very clear from the hotel so we were in our room in no time. The next morning we had breakfast which was included in the price. This consisted of a lovely continental spread with fresh croissants & pain aux chocolates, Spanish tortilla, range of meats & cheeses, different cereals and milks. Along with this, you can asked for a cooked option, which is over and beyond. I don’t think it’s necessary as the offering is so good - you should charge for the cooked option. The coffee machine at breakfast was the best coffee we had on the island!! The hotel have been in business since 1978 so they know what they are doing. The whole service is spot on. Rooms were clean, towels changed daily and rooms serviced. Even the Elvis impersonator didn’t bother us as he was awful. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone for location to Port de Pollença, it’s a 10 minute walk to the centre and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Spar supermarkets are just a 1 minute walk away. Location is perfect, staff are lovely, hotel is incredible. We will be back soon! Gracias Don Miguel!"

"The location of the hotel is right in the center of town which is fun but noisy if sleep is on your agenda. The rooms are small but very well designed, however, with two people sharing a room you practically have to go in the hall to change your mind. The breakfast spread and the bar are unmemorable. The staff are very helpful and the hotel has a good vibe,"

"We were allocated an amazing sea view room with stunning harbour views from the balcony. Staff at check in and cleaning team couldn’t have been kinder (restaurant staff less so but probably totally exhausted and it was crazy hot). Air con was fantastic. Everything wonderfully clean and functional. Odd smell from the fridge but we flagged it and presumed just cleaning fluids. Perfect location. Bar and restaurant downstairs very popular and buzzy and with lovely harbour and people-watching views so you feel like you’re ’out’ just by popping down with minimal effort. Highly recommended. Only caveat is the half board dinner options are crazy limited and a little odd. But the wider menu is good."

"Mixed feelings about this hotel - the pool area was nice and our child thoroughly enjoyed it. The location of the hotel was also great with only a few minutes walk to the bay. Unfortunately our room was rather dirty and on the third day we got food poisoning, probably from dinner. We would not go here again."

"I came back today from a 7 night stay with my husband and 6 year old daughter.. we wouldn't stay again due to the negative parts of my review but were some things we really enjoyed. 1 location- great location right on the beach and we had a sea view which was very nice. 2 facilities- mostly good, the pool was huge and really nice and splash area great with 5 slides and loved those. They told us the spa was hot so we didnt go in (it was boiling hot outside!?) And I felt was missing some key things like there waa no shop om site for snacks, sun cream etc, resturant was only a canteen and no outside seating to eat meal. The bufallo grill looked so basic on plastic chairs in pool area we didnt book. 3 FOOD- we found this the biggest lwt down and reason we wouldn't return. It was not 4 star food... lots of the food was cheap / poor quality and I am not fussy! Its the least variety ive seen at any hotel abroad and I love desserts and they were all.mostly jelly, mousse, all mushy and quite bland. We were very disappointed by the food. Drinks- i love a cocktail but I found these horrible! They are slushy premade really strong and sweet and I could not drink any. Entertainment- day entertainment is great. The team were fun especially Guiseppe, chloe loved him. Lots on in day including water polo, dancing in pool etc and loved it. Evening wasnt great with tribute acts more like a karaoke act and nobody was bothered. The reptile show and acrobat show were much better. Staff- most of the staff were pleasant but some behind the bar were not friendly.at all. They were always cleaning and clearing plates and cups which was great. Our room was clean and quiet snd very happy.to have 3 single beds!! Unfortunately the poor food let it down."

"The place may lack some of the amenities of major hotels, but it was one of the best hotel experiences of our lives. The staff was attentive, friendly, and we felt like family. The dining area is stylish and the breakfasts were superb. So was the dinners we had there. The location is perfect, a half block from the central plaza. We highly recommend it, and would go back there in a heartbeat."

Globales Don Pedro Adults Only +16 ★★★★
"Globales Don Pedro was, unfortunately, a complete disappointment for me. I genuinely cannot understand how this hotel holds a four-star rating. Based on my experience, I would consider it a three-star hotel at most – and even that feels generous in several respects. I will start with the positives, because there were some. The view from our room over the bay was absolutely beautiful, and the hotel is surrounded by some lovely beaches with excellent opportunities for swimming and snorkelling, which was particularly important to me. The location also provides relatively easy access to beautiful historic towns such as Pollença and Alcúdia, which are well worth visiting. Unfortunately, these were by far the highlights of our stay. There are several things I think future guests should be aware of. If you are arriving after a very early flight, be prepared for the fact that rooms may not be available until 2 pm. After leaving home at two or three in the morning for a 6 am flight, being unable to access your room and rest for several more hours is extremely tiring. Check-out is at 11 am. During busy periods, late check-out may not be available. The hotel does provide a shower room, but our experience of it was very poor. The water pressure was so weak that washing and properly rinsing your hair was practically impossible. There was also no air conditioning in the room. After showering, the room became so hot and humid that even getting dressed was uncomfortable. For guests with a late flight, this is worth knowing in advance. Cleanliness was another major concern. In my opinion, the hotel simply does not feel particularly clean and is in serious need of refurbishment. We stayed on the top floor, directly below the terrace, and during our stay maintenance or repair work was being carried out above us. Anyone hoping for an afternoon rest could forget about it because of the repeated banging and noise coming from the work above. Another thing that surprised me was the lack of separation between the hotel and the public route to the beach. People regularly walked through the hotel grounds to reach the beach, including large groups and families with children. For a hotel marketed as adults-only, this significantly affected the atmosphere. I never really experienced the peaceful, adults-only environment I had expected. More generally, the hotel lacks atmosphere and warmth. It gave me a strong impression that cost-cutting was a priority. One particularly strange example was the area around the bar in the evening. Guests would sometimes remain on the loungers there after dark, yet the area was barely illuminated. I actually saw people using the torches on their phones simply to see where they were going when getting up from the loungers. For me, this is not what I expect from a four-star hotel. Food was another disappointment. Many dishes were extremely salty, the choice was limited and the presentation was often unappealing. Breakfast officially conti"

"My family and I (10 of us) had a 10 night stay at the Hoposa Niu in Cala San Vicente early July 2014. This is such a little gem of a hotel. The location is absolutely perfect, a literal stones throw from the Cala Barques beach. the views from the restaurant and bar area were superb. While the rooms are on the small side they were clean and comfortable with that all important air conditioning. The rooms were cleaned each day. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The breakfast is great with lots of choice. The pool is small but our kids still had fun in it when they weren't swimming in the crystal clear sea. Cala San Vicente is quiet which suited us just fine but there's plenty of good quality restaurants nearby, if you want a bit more nightlife Pollensa Town and Puerto Pollensa are a short bus trip away (the bus stop is less than 5 mins from the hotel."
