These little cottages are terrific. They arent too close to any restaurants so youll want to be sure you have dinner, breakfast, etc. With a full kitchen and a grill, your options are open.
When we arrived, the owner was waiting, handed me a receipt and sent us up the hill to our cabin. There are two rows of cabins and we were on the bottom row looking out over a meadow and the water beyond. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, and there was everything we needed to make dinner. In the morning, we had a cup of coffee while watching deer in the meadow.

The cottages are nice, comfortable and very clean, on the hilltop overlooking the Canso Causeway. We arrived in the late afternoon, when it was pouring down rain, and left early in the morning so we did not use the fully equipped kitchen or enjoy the front porch like we would have for a longer stay. We were in the 2 bedroom cottage and it is very roomy. The owner was very welcoming.

This place was perfection for our 30th wedding anniversary trip! This 1 bedroom cottage allowed me to get up early, make coffee, and watch the sunrise without waking up my husband! There was a coffee maker, full size fridge, and a full stove/oven in the room. We got our food at Sobey's in Fort Hawkesbury and grilled out on the gas grill on our porch while watching the light change on the bay. I loved this place and only wish we had stayed longer. For entertainment, we stopped at the Celtic Music Interpretive Center and had lunch. Then we proceeded to Mike's E Bikes and took a great bike ride!

Clean. Comfortable. But there is a distinct odour of septic in the front of the cottage. When we contacted the owner he said it was the ocean we were smelling. Not at all true, as there is no odour at the top of the hill on the driveway. He was very defensive, and not at all helpful. Nor was the person on duty in the office.
