Had a lovely week here end of may / early June. Hotel has one of the most well kept grounds of any i have stayed at in Europe - like being in a park . Rooms are all on one level being little blocks of 6 or 8 bungalows. Rooms are spacious, spotless clean and comfortable. Pool is a good size with plenty of sun loungers available and a life guard always on duty - same at the beach. Beach is a rough mix of sand and shingle - NOT powder white sand but water is crystal clear. Restaurant service could be better. As noted in other reviews at almost every meal we had to wait for tables that had obviously been empty for some time to be cleared and re-set. Food quality was OK, could always fine something i enjoyed but nothing stood out. Al-a-carte restaurant was lovely - the only thing i would say is that the starters are too large! They could be 1/2 the size and be more than adequate. All staff were friendly and helpful. There are couple of downsides to the location, being quite isolated with no local buses running until 15th June and taxis hard to come by. We walked both ways along the beach to neighboring villages but in the heat of summer i wouldn't recommend. Hotel site is spread out - we measured it one kilometre from our room at the top of the site to the beach - at least the walking up and down kept us fit. Note to the hotel - a gate at the top of the hotel to access the road would be great. As it was we had to walk several hundred metres from our room to the main gate and then walk the same distance back up the road to the point we started from if we wanted to go the village or walk into Budoni via the road, PS This hotel has only been a TUI hotel since early May so i guess somethings are still a work in progress

Just leaving Sardinia after a wonderful week at Tui Blue budoni. Great place to stay for a relaxing week. Clean and well situated rooms, with air con, fridge, kettle, hairdryer, shampoo and body wash, towels changed daily. Pool and bar area well located, always sun and shade with plenty of sunbeds available, pool towels changed as required. A daily activity program easy to use from the blue app. We enjoyed sunset yoga on the beach with Nora, and other fitness classes with Nora and also Danni. Self service meals with wine served by the lively staff. There is also one visit included to Al Grano La carte restaurant . The beach is a very short walk with crystal clear water and plenty of sunbeds and brollies. Snorkelling was amazing. No water sports tho.

The setting of this resort is both charming and picturesque if a little remote. We received a warm welcome from both TUI reps and hotel reception staff. Our room was clean and tidy. The room was made up everyday with clean towels. The bed linen was changed once a week, we had a nice shower cubicle with hot water and a decent flow. Shower gel and shampoo is provided in dispensers as is hand soap. There is a free safe and A/C in the room and WIFI all over the hotel is very reliable. The pool is clean and well looked after and has a lifeguard on scene at all times as does the hotels private beach area. The sun loungers and parasols are plentiful and in good condition. Beach/pool towels are supplied from reception and can be changed when required. The beach is a mixture of shingle/sand. The sea is a little rocky in front of the private beach area but you can walk a few metres to the right to get easier access to the sea. It is approx a 45 minute walk into Budoni where you can find supermarkets, bars, restaurants and car hire. We hired a car for 3 days which cost 55 euros per day which I felt was quite expensive and if returning i would hire a car from the airport which worked out the same price for 2 weeks. We felt the all inclusive drinks were some of the best we have experienced and found all bar staff to be friendly and welcoming. The only slighly disappointing area was the main restaurant where the quality and presentation of the food could be improved. As mentioned in previous reviews the clearing of tables and topping up of drinks should be more efficient however, I think this would be remedied by increasing the number of staff in that area. Overall we had a lovely time in a beautiful area of Sardinia and will likely return again in the future.

Just returned from our 10 day holiday at the TUI BLUE Budoni. The Hotel is clean and tidy. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms are immaculate with clean bedding and towels. The local beach is beautiful. The al a carte restaurant which you can book once during your stay is lovely. The food and service there was excellent. We have travelled the world with TUI and never been disappointed with their 4 and 5 star hotels and resorts. HOWEVER... PLEASE NOTE. The actual main restaurant food and service was terrible. Only one ⭐. Both at breakfast through to the evening meal. What's wrong with it. Everything. The staff are friendly and work very hard (Except one young man and he knows who he is). Is boiled lettuce, aubergine and cabbage along with, yes aubergine or carrot sandwiches on dry bread for breakfast and main meals acceptable? Not really! Most of the time there was very little or no food. The serving dishes were mainly empty or had very unusual combinations. 🤔 The tables also needed clearing and setting. Would we stay again. The area is a beautiful part of Sardinia. Sadly the restaurant issues and lack of food are major problems that let the hotel down. Please don't blame the staff. The management are at fault. Look and observe the chaos. Please rectify this and we will happily stay with you again. All the very best. ISG 👍😊

TUI have only recently taken over this hotel. The small bungalow type rooms have a fridge, air con, comfy beds and a little terrace. Lovely and clean with traditional style shutters to keep the room cool in the hot weather. Beach is long and beautiful with a nature reserve around the complex with flamingos and a pine forest. Outside the hotel to the right you can walk into a small village with a marina. To the left is a 45 min walk into boudini. We hired a car from a company there which was great and cheaper than the hotel. Every member of staff were pleasant and keen to do all they could for us. The restaurant had a good selection of food - can’t fault it. Lovely relaxing break - if you usually go to built up mad busy resorts this is not the place for you . Would I return - yes definitely. Thanks all we enjoyed our stay with you 🥰

We had a very enjoyable stay here. My partner follows a gluten free diet and was very pleased with the labelling and GF alternatives, including the a la carte (Al Grano) which provided gluten free pasta. There was a lot of choice in the main restaurant and a wide selection of drinks including cocktails. The room was nice, had a good shower and was cleaned every day. Quaint individual bungalows with good air conditioning and tea/coffee facilities. It would be good to have some more entertainment in the evenings, local singers etc. The beach area is nice and a short walk from the hotel.

We have stayed at the TUI Blue Budoni for a full week now and are less then pleased with our experience. The hotel is rated as a 4* however is more 3* level, the rooms are basic with much to be desired for, there is no natural light in the rooms unless you have the windows and doors open which is not always possible when getting ready due to privacy. There does not seem to be enough staff in house keeping as our rooms were not cleaned until around 2pm or after on some days. Also lack of communication and language barrier is a issue, there is only a handful of people that speak reasonable English and can explain things well or give suggestions. The food on average is mediocre and has no seasoning on any dish. In the evenings the dishes that are sliced beef / pork is fatty, chewy and unseasoned. The variety is not good either. This does not do Sardinian cuisine any justice as it does not portray the signature dishes that Sardinia is traditionally known for (grilled meats / BBQ food / Suckling pig). The pasta dishes were always under cooked and hard and the rice undercooked and crunchy. There was no consistency with the food at any time of day it was either undercooked or burnt there was no middle ground. There needs to be more variety and themed food nights / live cooking and maybe a daily menu to advise of the specialty food stations. The labelling of the food is atrocious, there is nothing to specify what contains what and I feel that Tui is on the verve of causing serious harm to someone or will be liable to a lawsuit, especially in this day and age where allergies are more apparent. You seem very under staffed and the waiters and waitresses' are rushed off their feet, the chefs at breakfast live station seem under pressure and don't have the capacity to top up the food as well as deal with customer orders. Also the chefs / food expert should be on hand to explain what the foods are for any customer queries. One of Sardinia's traditional dishes is Suckling Pig (Maialino da latte) the receptionist can advise you where to find this at a local place in Budoni town. The TUI representative Francesca is very unhelpful, non-attentive, ignorant. She was not forth coming and there was no welcome meeting offered it was just a notice on the wall. The TUI app suggests a shuttle bus service that runs between the town and hotel however we discovered that this service will not start until peak season! Why is this advertised if its not running?! TUI are aware of this as there is a car hire place inside the hotel that is expensive compared to hiring from the airport. Please speak to the receptionist Morena she is very helpful and is happy to offer suggestions or cheaper alternatives to TUI for activities or places to eat. If you are coming to Sardina the best thing to do is hire a car from the airport as there is limited taxi service and its very expensive. There nearest bus stop is 45 mins walk away. To hire the car from the airport you will need a credit
