Golden Well

Lesser Town Prague|0.43km from Baracnicka Rychta
I traveled alone to Prague, and booked a golden well two days before and after the birthday; this hotel is awesome! I also lived in A***. The service level of this hotel is no different from A***; as they say, treat their guests like kings.... When checking in, there was a welcome juice. The receptionist was very enthusiastic to help me draw a recommended route on the map; the uniforms worn by the reception staff were very classical and refined; Room11 is a 24-hour public service room with internet access and free coffee; the paintings on the wall are also great! I lived in Room14, and when I opened the window, I could see the famous green dome and red-top building; I could hear the bell ringing on the church; wifi was very fast; The bathroom is made of Molton Brown toiletries, an old-fashioned service provider for the British royal family; the bath and toilet are Duravit, the toilet and the toilet, the smart flush is very good; The hotel's restaurant has one of the best views of Prague, but it's very difficult to book, so make a reservation in advance, while enjoying the food while overlooking the entire Old Town of Prague, listening to music is really super enjoyable; but the price is also in line with the top restaurants in Prague; My birthday afternoon hotel prepared a birthday cake for me, it was really a surprise, the cake tastes great! I think I will come back to this hotel with my parents and children next time; but unfortunately I have not experienced breakfast. In addition to the price is slightly more expensive, the room is a little bit small, there are no shortcomings.

Occidental Praha Five

Smíchov Prague|2.38km from Baracnicka Rychta
I recently had a highly unpleasant experience with Mr. Martin. It all started when I decided to order room service, expecting to enjoy a late dinner in the comfort of my room. According to the menu provided in my room, room service was available until 10 PM. I called the hotel's room service line at 9:40 PM, well within the time frame specified on the menu. To my surprise and frustration, Mr. Martin informed me that the kitchen was closed and that he couldn't accommodate my request. I expressed my disappointment and confusion, explaining that I had called within the stated hours. Mr. Martin's response was dismissive and unsympathetic. He didn't provide any reasonable explanation for the early closure of the kitchen, nor did he offer any alternative options or suggestions to alleviate the situation. His lack of professionalism was evident as he seemed uninterested in addressing my concerns or providing any form of customer service. This incident left me feeling neglected and disrespected as a guest. The discrepancy between the menu's advertised service hours and the actual availability of room service is unacceptable. Mr. Martin's unhelpful attitude only exacerbated the situation, leaving a bitter taste in my mouth and significantly impacting my overall experience at the hotel. As a customer, I believe it is essential for hotel staff, including Mr. Martin, to prioritize guest satisfaction and strive to resolve issues in a respectful and efficient manner. Unfortunately, my encounter with him fell far short of these expectations. I hope that the hotel management takes note of this incident and addresses the need for better communication and customer service training for their staff. It is crucial for them to rectify such issues promptly and ensure that guests are provided with accurate information and appropriate assistance.

Hotel Nerudova 211

Lesser Town Prague|0.09km from Baracnicka Rychta
Where to start. Stayed for 6 nights with my 12 yr old son in the attic room (size of small apartment). I live in the USA and frequent world traveler. Where I stay is equally as important as the destination. Location, cleanliness & comfort is a priority. Hotel Nerudova 211 offers low rates which made me skeptical. But has 5-star glowing reviews on all sites. So, I gave it a shot & so glad I did. Location - my uber driver said it’s the nicest street in Prague. The street is lined with small cafes, a pharmacy, chocolate, antique, perfumery & souvenir shops. I liked the “curiomat” local artist collective store. Walk to the Kostel SV Mikulase church in 2 minutes, busy shopping area & Charles Bridge in ~5 to 8 minutes, John Lennon wall & Artemis shop not far either. So many places to explore that even my son stayed entertained. Hotel - Beautiful & elegant. Meticulously cared for down to the smallest detail. It was recently renovated so new without compromising its heritage. Plenty of windows with views of rooftops & distant cathedral. We used the stairs but there is an elevator in this 4-story hotel. Room - we stayed in the unique Attic Room (apartment). A staircase greets you upon entry with bathroom to the right. Up the stairs you’ll find a foyer with small refrigerator, dishes, liquor with glasses, kettle, etc. Two rooms - one on each side both with Netflix tv and soft beds with plenty of pillows, two duvets each, rolling racks, writing table with upholstered chairs and bench area. Unlike the other rooms, our ceiling was not flat with exposed beautiful wood beams (original). I did hit my head once when acting silly but not again. I think an older couple should stay in the other rooms especially because of the stairs to restroom. My son said it was the coolest hotel room he’s ever stayed in - which was the point. Cafe - within hotel has the best coffee, pastries & sandwiches with fresh homemade bread. My son asked for extra bread to take back to the USA. Staff is friendly & ready to be at your service. Staff - maybe the most helpful & friendly I’ve experienced in a hotel or resort. They are beyond 5-stars and in a class of their own. Reception had suggestions for activities, helped us book tickets to a basketball game. Even the night manager is wonderful and daily housekeeping is superb. They arranged our car to/from hotel, tracked my flight (canceled & re-routed) and knew who to call about my lost bags :( We traveled during a strike at the airport… They also cleaned laundry and provided us with plenty of water -all complimentary. I would never dream of staying anywhere else. Love this beautiful boutique hotel & so happy I found it! - Amber & gage

LH Vintage Design Hotel Sax

Lesser Town Prague|0.11km from Baracnicka Rychta
We stayed a week in the Sax hotel in december 2021. We are absolutely positive about this hotel! Especially the breakfast and the staff was wonderful. The hotel had been closed for a few days when we arrived and it took some time before the rooms were warm. And there was a problem with the water supply. BUT the very friendly staff gave us a great room in a nearby hotel for the first night plus a 50% discount for the first night. AND they gave us a botte of champagne! When we settled in our suite the next morning, we were given an extra heater to warm our room. So we were satisfied with the way how they solved the inconveniences on the first day. The rest of the week was marvelous. The rooms were heated up, and everything was just perfect. There was a coffee machine on the room, and a water cooker on request. We had a suite (room 301) with a view of the old castle and lots of room, good furniture and a nice atmosphere. The room had two television sets and Netflix. The beds were good. Very nice shower. The room had a small fridge (with drinks and some snacks). The breakfast was the best ever. Everything you might want: pancakes, croissants, apfelstrudel, yoghurt, different cheeses, vegetabes, fruit, fresh breqad, toast, scrambled eggs, even pasta. The breakfastroom is, like the entire hotel, full of vintage posters, toys and other original design from the 50s-60s-70s. Staff was very helpful, calling taxis and giving advice about the city. The hotel is located in the so called ”lesser” Prague quarter, a beautiful old part of the city below the Prague Castle. Just a 10 minutes walk to cross the Charles Bridge. Lots of restaurants and sights in the neighbourhood. Good to know: parking your car is not easy in this part of town. The hotel has 1 parking place for small cars (lower than 150 cm) for about €22 per day. There is a small parking place close by (2 minutes walk) at the hospital for about € 30 a day. My advice: travel by taxi from the airport. Note: there is no supermarket close by. The small ”supermarkets” in the neighbourhood are expensive tourist traps! Don't buy there but take some time to visit a real supermarket in the old center across the river. We will definitely visit this hotel again when in Prague.

Hotel Golden Key Prague Castle

The location was great. The castle/palace was just 10 minute walk up the hill. Down the hill was Charles bridge, which is a pedestrian bridge that connects to old and new Prague. The history of the hotel was great, but if you need space the room we were given won’t work. It was very cramped. Couldn’t stand up on one side of the room. No drawers to store lingerie. On the other hand The bathroom was wonderful. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Oh we had to hunt for plugs and no USB ports. We’d stay again but ask for a room like the picture🙂

Just returned from a really enjoyable 4 night stay at the Golden Wheel Hotel. Situated on the very picturesque Nerudova Strana in a quiet area of the city, half way up hill (so beware anyone with mobility issues). 10 minute walk to the Charles Bridge and 5 minutes to the Castle.(at the top of the hill). This is a relatively small and wonderfully quaint hotel with not very many rooms. We (2 couples) were in the top floor of the hotel with rooms opposite to each other. Rooms 411 and 412. This was perfect for us. Plenty of storage space in the rooms, large bathrooms. Room 412 had stand alone shower and 411 had a bath with shower over it. A kettle with a selection of teas and coffee available in the rooms. TIP if you are like me and enjoy English black tea then bring your own tea bags and purchase milk in a supermarket. There is a small fridge to store drinks etc. Hairdryer also available along with travel size Shampoo, shower gel, cotton pads/buds and shower caps. Staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful. We were able to get directions/travel route and purchase our tram tickets from reception. Breakfast was perfect for us. Selection of cereal, fruit, spreads. Croissants, bread/toast, pastries, scrambled egg, frankfurters, cold meats and cheese along with fruit juices and tea/coffee. Lactose free and almond milk were provided by hotel. Breakfast was 8am - 9.30 am. We stayed over St Valentines Day and there were two little loveheart boxes of chocolates left by the hotel in our rooms. Very nice touch♥️ Rooms were very warm but there is an air con system if you need it.

Awesome hotel! If you want to experience the European court fan, this hotel will never let you down! The entire hotel, whether it is architecture or interior decoration and furniture, is completely European court style, luxurious retro atmosphere. The hotel is ideally located, about 10 minutes walk from Castle Hill. The staff was polite and had a welcome drink and towel when staying. The breakfast was very generous and there was a wine tasting and cheese reception every afternoon. The customer relationship manager is very nice and gave a small gift when checking out. The next time I go to Prague, I will also prefer this hotel. Self-driving friends need to pay attention, because the hotel is on the edge of the US consulate, so the security check in and out is more strict, and the hotel can only be parked by the hotel.

The rooms are spacious and clean. They are equipped with two bathrooms. They are very convenient and there is no problem waiting for the toilets. There are restaurants and shops near the small square. You must have a good quality suitcase in Prague. The whole city is covered with stone roads.
Boutique Hotel Constans

In a small alley, it is very inconspicuous. It’s very hard to go back every day. On the fifth floor of the book, the price is very non-standard, it is a loft change, and occasionally accidentally hit the head. The most unacceptable thing is that the length of the bed is too small, and I can't straighten my legs when I am 1 meter. depressed. It is very close to the castle area and it is only three steps away. It takes 1.2 kilometers to get to the Charles Bridge, not far. There are quite a few small restaurants that can be eaten nearby, and it is still very quiet near the evening. There are no tourists.
