Anonymous UserI highly recommend Narada Resort & Spa Perfume Bay! The entire resort is made up of individual villas, surrounded by coconut groves, offering excellent privacy. The private beach isn't crowded, and the 88-meter infinity pool creates a fantastic atmosphere. The shuttle service is available on call, making for a very comfortable stay. The travel photographer was great at capturing angles and giving natural posing guidance. The photos from the pool and beach scenes turned out amazing, perfectly capturing all the beautiful moments of a seaside vacation. It's definitely worth another visit!

JiajianvwuThis was the best hotel we stayed at during our Hainan trip this summer! The family suite at Lanhaiju was perfectly situated with a direct view of the Freedom Lighthouse! I had thought it was a pure garden view room, so I was thrilled to see the lighthouse in the distance as soon as I entered. Not only the room view, but all areas of the hotel are fantastic backdrops for photos! Access to the hotel grounds and beach requires a booking confirmation or room key card, indicating very strict management.
The breakfast was excellent, no complaints there. We found different delicious options each of the three mornings, and the à la carte menu also varied daily. The dinner beach BBQ buffet, with its setting at the filming location of 'Lost in the Stars' and the lighthouse, offered an amazing ambiance. My only suggestion would be to increase the variety of dishes.
Stepping out the back door of the hotel leads directly to a private, quiet, and clean beach with fine sand and a gentle slope. If it weren't so hot, I could have easily spent the whole day just relaxing there!
During our stay, our dedicated butler Chloe was incredibly responsive to our needs every day, almost instantly replying whether it was day or night. She worked very hard!
Three days just wasn't enough; we'll definitely be back next summer!

Staying at Capella Sanya again certainly confirmed those familiar sentiments: once you've experienced Capella, other hotels just don't quite measure up. Even after staying at over a hundred five-star hotels, and thirty in Hainan, I still feel Capella offers the best stay. A special thank you to Chris, the cultural and tourism officer, and the travel photography team.
Improvements from our last visit:
1. Travel photography is now available, and the resulting photos are excellent.
2. The tennis court is now free and has no time limit. They even provide children's rackets, iced water, and iced towels – the attention to detail is superb.
3. Provided a dedicated car service to the station, greatly facilitating our journey to the next destination.
4. Used the gazebo for the first time. Especially after a fall that left me covered in sand, the gazebo's washing facilities were incredibly convenient.
5. Received complimentary champagne, making our 10th wedding anniversary feel truly special.
6. Had a dedicated discussion with the hotel management, which significantly deepened my understanding of the brand, making the stay experience more profound than superficial.
7. My child had the opportunity to play the piano and also saw the stunning high-altitude sea view of Tufu Bay, which is just as beautiful as Haitang Bay.
8. Experienced making my own cocktail at breakfast, something absolutely unheard of at other hotels, and it made up for a previous missed opportunity.
9. Children aren't allowed in the spa, but they can be looked after, which gave us great peace of mind.
10. The evening ceremony clashed with the crab-catching activity, but Chris, the cultural and tourism officer, took our child to catch crabs, allowing us to attend the evening ceremony without worry. This deserves high praise!
11. Received a full family souvenir gift. Every member was considered; in the past, souvenirs were only given to one person, but this time all three of us received one, which was a pleasant surprise.
12. The staff's service attitude has improved. The shuttle driver even came to our room door to pick us up, the pool lifeguard proactively called a car for us, and the manager conversed with us while kneeling the whole time. When we left, the car had driven quite a distance, but they were still waving goodbye.
13. There was an error in our booking, only reserving breakfast for one person, but the hotel provided a complimentary breakfast for the other person. Otherwise, the cost for an extra breakfast isn't low.
A few points that weren't as good:
1. The explanation for the evening ceremony was unpracticed, the process was chaotic, and the sense of occasion was diminished.
2. Several communications happened during meal times, affecting our afternoon tea and breakfast experience.
3. There were some issues with the room's TV and electric curtain buttons.
4. The hotel activity schedule was less entertaining; the activities weren't as fun as before.
Chris, the cultural and tourism officer, and his team provided a lot of information and suggestions. They truly consider the guests, making us feel at home. Only at Capella can you experience genuine butler service.

Guest UserI traveled with my best friend and stayed at the hotel for two days, so I wanted to write a proper review. We didn't do any research before choosing Xiangshui Bay; we just picked this hotel when we saw it. We drove there ourselves, which was convenient. The hotel is about 700-800 meters from the street, located in a villa area. The butler had informed us of our license plate number beforehand, as other cars aren't allowed in this area. Upon entering the villa area, I was struck by how large it was, but it felt a bit deserted. The check-in area wasn't what I expected. Having stayed at Raffles Hotel before, I assumed it would be similar, but there were only two young men there to greet us. However, I must say that the two men who greeted us were incredibly patient, and they should have upgraded my room for free—it was a whopping 500 square meters! After check-in, the butler took us to our room, and wow, it was huge! It took several minutes to get there in the sightseeing vehicle. Now, let's talk about the hotel itself. For this price, the room was excellent value. While the hotel facilities weren't particularly new, they were comprehensive and very comfortable. We had such a pleasant stay that we didn't want to leave. The butler was always available, which was wonderful. The hotel's public areas were a bit messy, perhaps due to the heavy rain, but the overall scenery was nice. I wasn't very satisfied with the food; breakfast wasn't a buffet. The hotel has its own restaurant, but it seemed rather empty. It's better to eat outside the hotel; the seafood restaurant across the street is particularly delicious, with great taste and reasonable prices. For those who prefer a quieter atmosphere, this is a great place. Renting a car would be more convenient, as it's quite far from the hotel. I would definitely bring friends here again next time. ✌️

Guest UserWe stayed in the Aloha Capybara themed twin room, and it was a delightful family experience. The 55-square-meter room was spacious, and the adorable capybara decorations were a hit with the kids. The bed configuration was perfect for families, and having a refrigerator made storing things very convenient for our trip. The hotel facilities were excellent, with a water park, a soft play area, and a swimming pool. We could also walk to Qingshuiwan Beach very quickly, which was great for digging in the sand and playing in the water. There were also various parent-child activities daily, giving parents a break. The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were responsive. We didn't have to go anywhere else; we could easily entertain the kids right at the hotel. It offered great value for money and is a worthwhile choice for families with children visiting Lingshui.

CassiedelvxingrijiThe resort grounds are full of coconut trees, the pool is clean, and the greenery looks incredibly pleasant. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was super soft – I had a great night's sleep. The breakfast spread was substantial, and the egg tarts were delicious. They also had sweet potato and corn balls, and the buffet was fully stocked. Both the lobby and outdoor areas were spotless, giving off a strong island holiday vibe. It's been raining in Lingshui these past few days, so the weather has been cool and refreshing, and the air quality is genuinely good.

Comfortable, relaxing, and no crowds. It is a Marriott, after all, and while it's an older property, there are no major issues. Our room opened right onto the pool, and then beyond that, the beach. It was uncrowded, so no need to fight for sun loungers! For the kids, it was beach then pool, pool then beach... as long as they were in the ocean. For the adults, as long as there weren't too many people blocking my view, haha. Breakfast and dinner were good too, and the staff were friendly – high marks all around. A special shout-out to He Cui, who helped us with everything before and after our meals, with such a great attitude!

Posted on Jul 19, 2026|Haiqu Twin Room with Sea-View Balcony
TiantongcuiI specifically chose to stay at the Ocean View Pavilion, and its biggest draw is the incredible convenience for snorkeling. The balcony opens right onto the sea, allowing you to hop in and swim with the fish whenever you like. This immersive near-shore snorkeling experience is truly unique. The only minor downside is that the room can be a bit humid; after all, facing the ocean means high humidity is an unavoidable issue for seaside rooms. Thankfully, the hotel thoughtfully provides a dehumidifier, which effectively alleviates any discomfort caused by the dampness. Overall, the pros far outweigh the cons. If you're looking for an immersive, close-to-the-ocean experience, this place is absolutely perfect. The unique near-shore access is something a standard sea-view room simply can't compare to.

This is a great hotel. Our sea-view room offered stunning ocean views right from the window. The breakfast was decent. The large bed room is perfect for a family with two adults and one child. It's incredibly convenient to take the kids to the beach for swimming and digging in the sand, as it's practically right there. The hotel's off-season prices are reasonable, making it a good choice for those looking to travel during non-peak times.

1️⃣ The hotel upgraded us to a room with a view for free. 2️⃣ The newly renovated environment and facilities are very good. The bedding is clean and there is a refrigerator. 3️⃣ The staff sent us to the high-speed rail station. 4️⃣ The food was good and they gave us free fruit. 5️⃣ It's less than ten minutes' walk to the deserted beach. I believe the facilities will get better and better in the future. I look forward to staying here again next time (very suitable for elderly people to live in. The infrastructure is very good, the toilet has handrails and a shower bench. The staff are super patient and enthusiastic! !
