The Apartments by Capital

The internet on this property did not work and the property once we arrived did not answer a single message The amount of necessities such as toilet paper they gave us for our stay were not enough. While the place was clean, there were lights that didn't work a piece of the floor that was broken. Overall it was a terrible experience from start to finish.

We paid for the superior apartment and simply didn’t get it. Booked 8 months in advance. Communicated multiple times before the stay with property and they never mentioned that our apartment would already be booked by someone else. They instructed us to go into apartment “6” and when we walked in the apartment was filthy. So filthy that we thought someone else was already in there. Beds unmade. Sheets dirty. Crumbs on the floor. Bathroom messy with hair everywhere. Property manager showed up the next day to “resolve the issue” but didn’t have a clue as to what we were talking about. It seems like dishonesty about booking availability might be trend with this property. Read the other reviews. If you have time to cancel, just book somewhere else. Awesome neighborhood though! We stayed in an apartment in the basement (family of 4). It was clean and spacious, great for a family (couch, dining table, small kitchen). The location is fantastic, right in the heart of the Chelsea neighborhood. So many places to eat and shop. Very safe and walkable. My only complaint is the bed in bedroom was the most rock hard and uncomfortable mattress I’ve ever slept on. The cots provided were comfortable though.

The wifi was not working half the time we were there. It's not the fault of the owner though but the internet provider. Having a kitchen was convenient.

Great area, close to everything including public transport. Big, clean apartment, perfect for family of 4. Would recommend!

the picture on the website looks nothing like the apartment we stayed in. the fold down bed was very uncomfortable the tv was internet based so very few channels worked the apartment wasn't filthy but wasn't the cleanest, the bed sheets didn't seem like thy had been changed. we would not stay there again

Very small and low pressure shower. Booked a 2 bed, one of the bed was a sofa bed which wouldn’t be an issue if it would have opened fully. The master bed was in the way making it impossible to open the sofa bed fully.

Wonderful stay, highly recommend. Location was incredible and the main reason we will return. Property is in good condition, nothing above and beyond but certainly a comfortable room. Lovely to have a small kitchenette as well. This property to us was all about being in Chelsea right off Kings Rd.

Great location. Short walk to public transport and shops. Loved the area. Quiet street. Pity about the size of the unit. Limited space and no cupboards to put clothes in unless you want to stand on the bed to use overhead storage. No tea towel to dry dishes, no oven mitt to remove anything from oven. Bed very hard and spring poking my partners back. Also wasn’t informed there was no lift. Had to cart 2x20kg suitcases up to level 1, thankfully we weren’t on level 6!! Couldn’t email 48hr prior to our stay, so didn’t receive entry details or exact location. Tried to contact number provided on Wotif with no luck. Ended up waiting 45 minutes and with the help from Wotif staff finally got entry details. Also Unaware there is double entry to unit door to find keysafe. With the help from the very kind housekeeper who gave us very good instructions to get in. Very confusing and time consuming instructions to enter unit. Not sure I would stay there again. If I did I would definitely ask for a lift if you don’t like stairs!
