Best Western River Cities

Recently stayed at this "recently remodeled" location for an event. The gentleman at check in was very nice and the lobby was clean. Not long after arriving in our room, we discovered that the AC unit was not functioning properly. We booked this king room several months ago. After calling the front desk, we were told that there were no other king rooms available and that maintenance would not be available until the next day. We had to leave our stuff in the king room and sleep in a smaller room for the first night. Maintenance took care of the unit the following morning. We went back to our king room for the remainder of our stay. We could hear doors being slammed all around us for the 4 days and 3 nights we were there. We could also hear people walking around and stomping on the hallway above us. While housekeeping did leave us fresh towels in a bag outside of our room, they did not clean our room or remove trash for the duration of our stay. On the last day there, our thermostat stopped working. The lady that took care of breakfast was super sweet and they did have a nice breakfast layout. When we checked out, our total was higher than what was booked on the BW website. The lady at the desk at checkout said there was nothing she could do about it. I have reached out to the manager three times to rectify the situation, but nobody has bothered getting back with me. Doubt I will ever stay there again. Has the potential to be a nice place.

I couldn't have been more comfortable staying away from my family than they made me at the two rivers Best Western!! I hope to take my family back to show them how comfortable I was ,so they don't worry about me when I'm on the road

Staff was not knowledgeable of reservations made by **********. She declined to let us in and said we owe money even though it was already paid for. I used one of my free stays and she said that we cant use those and can only use best western rewards and that they have nothing to do with **********. It ultimately got resolved but the hassel was unnecessary.

I stayed with my seven-year-old granddaughter and when we took showers that evening she has almost waist length hair there was barely enough shampoo and conditioner to use between the two of us. Between that and the soap to shower with the bottom of the tub was so slick that she fell and I almost did. I had to brace my feet along the sides of the tub to keep from slipping. There is no handlebar in the tub to hold onto or anything on the bottom of the tub to keep you from falling. At 70 years old that could have been bad. Otherwise everything was just lovely and we had a great overnight.

Cold shower, halls smelled, bed was bad. You could feel the springs and it made noise ever time u moved. Needs updated

Only bad thing about our stay was the strong musty odor in the room even though it had a dehumidifier running in the room. Almost took your breath away

Just needs a good grounds cleaning, some outside tables for summer. The rooms need repainting or touched up & new carpet. Bathrooms were nice.

I had a quick work function and only place I could find. Very clean.

Dirty bathroom & the noise was so bad neither my wife nor i slept. The ice machine was right outside the door and there were gaps in the door jam which let every sound be heard from the outside in and likewise. It was a horrible place to stay.
