The professionalism of the staff was amazing. I made a mistake, which I acknowledged, yet they still insisted on making it up to me. The room was great, as was the food. Very glad we chose to stay here.

I couldn't see the road at night and missed the entrance of the hotel twice. The room was clean and the breakfast was delicious.

The deskclerk on check in was wonderful, the night one was horrible, rude, and straight out needs to be removed! We traveled all day, I am handicapped and was hurting so went done to lobby to find snack so could take pain pill. Breakfast was added to our room fee so took banana and received lecture made to show card and room number and advised I couldn’t come back in hour when opened breakfast as she wasn’t going to refill the food since I couldn’t wait even though I already explained issue to her. I don’t know how hard it is to replace 1 banana. She continued her tyrant as I waited for elevator and almost wished I would have skipped the banana and threw up all over her lobby instead! This was so uncalled for especially when price of room was over 150.00. Being ill didn’t shower or use anything but toilet and one damn banana! While packing checked under bed and beside night stand for items I may have dropped and found gobs of food, pizza, & popcorn! Also boxes and other trash (not small items either which really causes me to question how cleaning is done!) The facility appeared well kept and clean but was later obvious that was just superficial. Bed was not horrible but not comfortable either. Shower faucets dripped all night DRIP DRIP DRIP otherwise quiet and comfortable. Also important to note the breakfast I was charged for and denied other than a banana was pre-made heat and go gas station type stuff therefore clearly easy to see why she was so stressed about replacing one banana! I’m a Hilton Diamond member and normally try to stay at a Hilton property, typically a Hampton Inn. I selected this Marriott Fairfield for its location. What a pleasant surprise. This property feels brand new and was spotlessly clean. Our room was quiet with no hallway or outside noise. If this is typical for today’s Fairfield Inns, they have left Hampton Inns behind in the dust. I intend to check out a few more at my next opportunity. I highly recommend this hotel.
