Hotel Villamarina Club

Was going to write a big review, but all I'm going to say is don't waste your money. It's not even a 3 star. I'd give it 1 star It's like being stuck in an 80s time warp. More like hostel than hotel. Food crap. Drink crap. View from balcony - rooftops and solar panels. Truth is, I'd rather be home in the rain !

I was with my family on Easter Holiday for 2 weeks. Nice stuff, good food, great animators. Clean rooms. In the evening, good time with bingo and shows. I had a problem with the room (the upstairs neighbor flooded the bathroom), a very nice manager changed my room to one with a terrace, and my daughter was very happy about it. We will happily go back there.

Well folks I am not usually one to complain about hotels but this makes fawlty towers look like the ritz!! Rooms you couldn’t swing a cat in really badly in need of a makeover food iffy with not much choice and most of the time it’s lukewarm at best on the plus side the staff are great and helpful met some great guys from selby but really this is one to avoid

Booked a cheap week in the sunshine and this hotel didn't disappoint. When reading other reviews I was apprehensive but a holiday is what you make it. The hotel is in the old town so it's a pleasant walk down to the beach front. The food was fine and always enough choice for you to not go hungry. The entertainment team were fantastic one of the best I've seen keeping both kids and adults entertained. All the staff are great and very helpful. The room was small but was clean with comfy beds. For what we paid for a week all inclusive I couldn't complain one bit. The hot tubs in the roof are an added bonus for the adults 👌

It was an absolute pleasure to stop at the villa marina club hotel, The food was some of the very best we have had at all inclusive style hotels ,it was very much geared to the English palette with a smattering of world cuisine as well, it was all cooked well and piping hot ,snack bar was also fantastic. The bar area is well stock and staff always working hard ,the drinks were good quality ,the entertainment area was well cleaned and organised . The entertainment team are a joy ,rob and his team are enthusiastic for all ages throughout all the day, we enjoyed every minute with them. The reception staff are pleasant and well informed ,our room was spotless and modern ,cleaned when it was supposed to be and the towels changed every day. It was also nice and quite at night . Well done to all at the villa marina !!

Please don’t listen to negative reviews. I have visited this hotel for many years, solo and with family, often visiting twice a year, as do family too. It’s a ⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3 star hotel, if you expect anything more then you will probably be disappointed. However, it’s clean, the entertainment is great, the food always has a good selection and is tasty, the drinks are ok.. estrella beer on draft so I’m happy 😊 The staff are lovely and cannot do enough for you if you ask. Ivanio the manager is a fabulous guy who goes out of his way to make your holiday as perfect as it can be. Yes some parts of the hotel are a little dated, but what do you want from a 3 star hotel?? ✔️ clean ✔️entertainment ✔️good food/drink ✔️ pleasant staff✔️ great a**osphere ⭐️ The hotel is situated in a residential area a 10 minute drive from Reus airport, if you book hotel via their website for 7days + they will provide transfers to and from Reus airport free! The beach 🏖️ is lovely and is a 15 minute walk from the hotel. Hope this review helps 😊

Honestly please ignore the reviews of negative kind. The hotel yes was "spanish", we are in Spain. Was a 10 minute to beach on the flat, no hotels on the beach mind! Food was lovely, plenty all day and night, you have a buffet. If you want Mitchelin go 6 star! Rooms were spotless, serviced daily. Most of all, I'm saving the best till last, the entertainment team are outstanding. From the moment we walked in the kids were taken under their wing and us adults got to enjoy some games too. Something on all night every night. Su h an amazing holiday. Don't go here if you don't like kids, music, fun in the pool. As that's what everyone us moaning about. Good old fashioned fun! Cannot wait to visit Marina, Rafa and Rob again!

I’ve been around the world and I I I can’t find a single positive thing about this place! Honestly really bad. But by all means book it and see for yourself. It’s noisy the pool bars are out of action mostly. it’s miles from anything. Can’t even get a coffee before 8 am . Rooms are very tired and dated

We were a group of 5 adults and 3 Children (2 families and 1 single person) Staff - All of the staff were very lovely, helpful and friendly. There was one manager at the bar who was iffy but aside from him everyone was nice and always wanted to help - any issues we had were always resolved promptly. Pool - there are two pools which are on the smaller side however it is a small hotel. Both the pool and pool area were very clean and on every occasion we were able to get a sun beds. Sun beds are abit old but all in all they did the job. The only suggestion I would have would be to heat the pools however it is a 3 star hotel and we were there in April so they maybe do this in the summer. Also bring your own towel as I’m not sure they give them around the pool. Food/drinks the food was lovely (and we had picky eaters) there was always something for everyone at breakfast/lunch/dinner - there was plenty on offer and the pizza and chicken in particular was beaut! Some of the food ie curries etc were abit bland but I can understand that as they have to cater to so many people so hotter curries may not be to everyone’s taste. Personally I feel this hotel offered some of the nicest food I have had while on holidays and I’ve been to a lot of places. Snack bar - it was good and open until 5 offering chips/burgers/hot dogs/chicken nuggets. The chicken nuggets tasted abit like cardboard but the kids loved them. Restaraunt was always very clean and the staff changed around the tables promptly. You pay a euro deposit and they give you a cup which you keep and when you go to the bar you just bring your cup with you. Personally I think this is better as it reduced the use of single use plastics and also makes the place tidier. The drinks were also grand - I mostly drank soft drinks but other members had alcoholic drinks and they said they were good. Entertainment: I didn’t get involved in the daytime entertainment but from what I seen there appeared to be a lot on for both adults and children. The evening entertainment was good - they had the mini disco and then bingo every night, this was then followed by singers/performers and karaoke one night. Everyone has different tastes but I personally loved the guy with the violin. The entertainment was inside and it could get very hot in the indoor area so maybe they could consider opening all the doors or having air con on. Also, it was very loud so it may be better to turn down the volume abit on the microphone but all in all the entertainment was grand and the entertainment guy rob appeared to be really passionate about his job. Rooms: I (the single member of the group) booked a room with a terrace. I really liked my room as it was clean and the cleaners also came in everyday. I also had a terrace which was huge and had two sun beds and a table - this meant I could chill on them and sunbathe if I wanted to chill or have some alone in the room.
