Loved the remote location and the quiet away from traffic. Large home with great view and great host. Clise to the coal mine historic site and a pleasant 25 minute drive into Port Arthur!

Convict BEACH house is a misnomer- not accessible at all. No wifi. Nice place if you want total isolation- nearest supermarket quite a drive and no restaurants close by. Stock up well in advance

A lot of early Australian History in the area.There is so much more than just Port Arthur to see and learn about.

We stayed 2 nights here in the cottage. Seperate from the main house. It was 2 bedrooms and was so comfortable. This was a perfect place and such a beautiful place to stay. There are not a lot of options for eating out but we bought dinner at a local supermarket. The rabbits and the sunrise we a great bonus.

If what you want is self contained, no fuss check in and check out with easy access to the Port Arthur Peninsula, this is for you. It has everything you need and some cute wildlife on your doorstep. Probably hasn’t been ‘done up’ in over 20 years, but otherwise it’s practical and serves its purpose: a comfortable, well positioned stay.
