The hotel location is little away but you can always walk down to the river in 15 min. i did not like the room decor. It was too dark. The hotel room was small. Bathroom had only one gel type. Hotel is good for single day stay.

Hotel location is very good, there is a bus at the train station, take the 3 road, 25 roads to the hotel, take the three stops, it must be the third stop, or have to go for a while. The main staple of breakfast is bread. However, there are a lot of boiled eggs and scrambled eggs. The waiters are not many insiders or Chinese. Figure 1 2 3 is the location of the hotel, and Figure 3 is the location of the train station in this place. If you go to the train station, it will take 15 minutes.

Inside the lobby is part of the bar and breakfast room. Checkin is super friendly. Room is small but wins the cuteness prize. Carpeting and walls in hallway all green with small leafy patterns like in a jungle. Bed is firm and very comfy, bedding is an interesting weave feeling like soft cotton paper, and 4 big fluffy pillows. No amenities in room such as phone, electric kettle or coffee makers, or even a small fridge. Has safe however. The hanging rattan chair is cute but takes up some room. Day couch by the window, no tables, night stands or desk - or chair for that matter (no room anyway). The most minimal amount of furniture, the idea I guess is all about lounging around so you don't ever need to sit up anywhere. Not much surface to layout stuff just a sort of narrow shelving on the wall next to the TV. Bathroom also tiny but everything is new and modern and the rain shower is the best ever. Takes a bit of maneuvering to get our two large suitcases settled. We are on the 6th floor so have a bit of view of mountains over the top of a building across the street. Windows have electrically controlled shutters outside (push button inside). You get a nice bar of chocolate and 5 euros for opting out housekeeping (although they said something about not continuing this practice). Floor uncarpeted. Aircon good. Wifi seems pretty fast. Nightlight under the bed is motion sensitive, so it comes on whenever you are moving around the room. Breakfast is good with scrambled and pre shaped fried eggs, sausage and bacon-like ham. Good selection of pastries and croissants and breads. Half dozen different kinds of tea all loose so need to scoop into a teabag in order to steep which is interesting and pretty fancy. Selection of cold meats as well and cheese. Tomato, cucumber and fruit. They don't check to see if you have breakfast included which is strange because it's extra charge for breakfast so not automatically included in all rooms. Overall a pretty good breakfast and food gets replenished pretty quickly. Seating tends to run out at peak time and people will ask to share your table if there is room.

When I was looking for a hotel for a 1-night stay in Salzburg, I stumbled upon the listing for the Hyperion and took a chance. I wasn't familiar with the Hyperion hotel brand and didn't know much about Salzburg. Now, I have fallen under the spell of both the hotel and the city. The Hyperion is a fairly new hotel and it is in pristine shape. The room is rather generously sized compared to most of the European hotels I have stayed in thus far. The bathroom was particularly good -- with an American-style shower that featured both a handheld wand and a rain shower head. The separate water closet was a plus. The technology in the room (especially the lighting tech) is impressive, if not slightly confusing. Nice touch to have the Nescafe machine and the Mozart chocolates. The bed was very comfortable. The location, next to Mirabell Gardens, was great. The hotel staff was helpful. We arrived early, and the front desk gave us tips on how to spend our afternoon, drawing out some local attractions on the map and suggesting we get a Salzburg card (we already had them). They also gave us a recommendation for dinner, but we were turned away at the restaurant, which was full. In stead, we dined at the restaurant in the hotel, which was quite nice. Service was solid. Breakfast is a tad expensive, but they do offer a wide assortment of breakfast items (hot and cold) as well as eggs made to order. Champagne was also available for mimosas. Nice touch.

Although the hotel seems to be general, the more you live, the more flavor you feel and the feeling of home. From the front desk to the restaurant to the cleaning staff are very warm and friendly. The bathroom has a rack of toasted towels and clothes, which is automatically turned on every night (also remember to open the switch yourself!), the clothes must be dry the next day. Hotel location is excellent. Within a 15-minute walk from the Old Town of Salzburg, it is easy to visit the local sights of Salzburg, and the Salzburg Main Station can be reached within 10 minutes, making it easy to get in and out of Salzburg. Most importantly, the hotel is right next to the Mirabell Palace, which is also a place for a day trip to various nearby lakes starting from Salzburg to buy tickets and get on and off. You can go to Hallstatt for a day trip. Half-day tour of St. Wolfgangsee, Half-Day Tour of Music, etc. There is an Asian buffet (13 Euro/guest) opposite the hotel. If you like Asian food, you can solve it. It is recommended to walk (less than 10 minutes) to eat near the main train station. There are many choices, special features and not expensive. It is recommended to go to the Spanish restaurant on the right side of the train station. Tapas and lemon juice iced tea are great.

Absolut NICHT zentral gelegen. Der Sonnenschutz flatterte im Wind. Wir haben bei 5 (fünf) verschiedenen Personen vom Personal reklamiert. Zwei Nächte knallte der Wind alles ans Fenster. Der Herr an der Rezeption beim Einchecken war sehr freundlich. Alles andere war schade für das Geld. Als wir eincheckten brachte gerade einPizzakurier das Essen für andere Gäste. Wir waren etwas erstaunt. Offensichtlich war das dem Personal vom Hotel nicht neu. Alles wurde mit Routine erledigt und abgewickelt. Am Abend realisierten wir, warum. Das Hotel ist 15 - 20 Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt. In der prallen Sonne extrem mühsam. Sauberkeit? Nicht unbedingt. Hinter dem Vorhang viel Staub und Abfall von vorherigen Gästen. Auch einen Abfallkübel konnten wir, mit Ausnahme des kleinen Eimerchens für das Wattebäuschchen zuerst nicht finden. Erst zufällig, als wir die Vorhänge zogen, um einen Schalter für die defekte Beschattung zu finden, war da ein Abfalleimer. Das Bad war voller roter Streifen. Vermutlich vom Nagellack eines/r Gaste s/in. Der Teppich war schmudelig. Die Betten waren super gut.

Die Zimmer sind schön und sehr ruhig. Das Negative: Wir hatten über die Plattform Trip.com gebucht und dort war das Frühstück mit 13 Euro angegeben, das man vor Ort bezahlen könne. Im Hotel verlangte man aber 19 Euro, obwohl ich die Webseite von Trip.com vorzeigte. Die Dame an der Rezeption meinte, die Fa. Trip.com wäre ein externer Anbieter und man müsse sich nicht an deren Preisen orientieren. Einen Nachlaß auf das Frühstück wollte sie nicht geben, da auch das Frühstück von einer externen Firma geliefert werde und das Hotel keinen Einfluß auf deren Preisgestaltung habe. Erhebt sich die Frage, wozu überhaupt noch jemand in der Rezeption steht, wenn man für nichts zuständig ist.

Overall it is quite satisfactory. It's not very far to the old town. It’s just that the shower room is a little smaller (each person’s requirements are different)

The restaurant was not available and we were told beforehand so I can’t rate that. However the room size for 3 was plenty and was good for the price. The room was clean and had one larger bed a a single that were a little firm but comfortable, pillows and a blanket on each and were nicely made. A small table was in the middle of the room under a tv with on a pivot arm, so if you travel with an hdmi cable you’ll be able to access it. There were two windows/doors that were both useable and on even led to a small patio with a couple of chairs. Inclement weather kept us from utilizing this. There is also a standing fan for use and a wardrobe to keep your clothes in. The building is situated between a couple of bus stops for easy access so pick up a day pass for your duration. Using google maps will tell you which bus number to get on and when to exit the bus. The bathroom was well equipped and has an enclosed corner shower which is small (3.5ft/4ft square?) so keep your elbows in! Shower gel was provided as was hand soap at the sink. The towel rack was right about the radiator if you want to warm up your towels prior. Any time after May and you might not want to. The hotel isn’t flashy and the lobby is nice and well done. We stayed for 3 nights and tried to opt for an additional night but the room was already booked. We didn’t have any street noise and didn’t really hear any room neighbors until the last night.
