El Pueblito Hotel Boutique

This small and challenging to reach boutique hotel is certainly your best bet of comfort if you are visiting the wineries in Samaipata Bolívia. The independent unities, no tvs, but an internet connection available features a limited but tasty menu — I liked the local fish— and a tropical breakfast buffet. The service was great and one English-self-taught attendant was very nice helpful and friendly. The bigger room features a double bed and two other smaller ones — we didn’t need or asked for! But keep in mind… as a feature.

El Pueblito is a unique property in Samaipata. Views of the city below are great. All rooms are decorated with different themes related to the buildings of the little town. In the lush gardens peacocks and horses roam freely. The food was just OK. Service was attentive. However, because of its location on the top of the hill, your need a car to move around. After rain, you even might need a 4x4 to reach the hotel. Anyway, I still think is the best place to stay in Samaipata.

We absolutely loved staying at el Pueblito. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had dinner every night there and each time it was delicious! Super clean! Quaint and charming. I’d stay again in a heartbeat!

An Exceptionally Charming & unique Boutique Hotel laid out in the form of a small , rural village. The property sits high above Samaipata at the end of a rough , rocky , winding track. 5 of us stayed here for 3 nights whilst travelling between Santa Cruz & The Red Fronted Macaw Lodge. As soon as we arrived I was smitten. Whoever the planners & designers are they deserve admiration. The whole concept of a small village with it' s individual rooms themed as the bakery , tavern etc is a brilliant idea. Each room is tastefully decorated & extremely comfortable. Beautifully painted designs adorn exterior walls & there are gloriously coloured stained glass windows everywhere , none more impressive than in the white painted Chapel which sits slightly elevated at the end of the " village ". Behind the Chapel is a signpost directing viewers to many World Capitals with the distance stated in kms. Then one can drop down to a beautiful little swimming pool surrounded by chairs. Also views away to Samaipata & around. The main reception also contains the dining room & a comfortable lounging area featuring a large open fire. 3 large , amiable dogs roam around & white fan tailed doves & peacocks adorn the gardens. One request to owners : please get some companions for the lone budgerigar in the aviary. Maybe he / she lost it's mate recently - I don't know the history. The food was excellent & the Bolivian wine was quite delicious. Owner was charming & staff helpful & pleasant. Never stayed anywhere better.

We, three guys form Belgium, had a wonderful stay at El Pubuelito Hotel. After traveling for three weeks in Bolivia we ended up (last minute) very tired in Samaipata, this without knowing where to stay. With hardly any 4g left we looked for accommodation in Samaipata but we didn’t find a lot of available options. With our hopes high, to be able to find a place to sleep, we asked the taxi driver to drop us at El Pueblito Hotel Boutique not knowing if there was any availability. We did not have to worry, we where welcomed with open arms and had an amazing stay at the hotel. It was a charming place, the room was amazing , perfect and beautiful and all staff members + the host family where extremely friendly/ lovely people and the chef prepared the best meals ever! If you are looking for a wonderful, peaceful and cozy place to stay, with good food and service ‘El Pueblito Hote Boutique’ is the place to stay, 9/10 !!! I want to end with a big thank you to all staff members and the Family, you where wonderful!!!

No wonder this hotel has been entitled with travellers choice, since it is simply a pearl, and even though the trip from Santa Cruz to the hotel was quite rough and lengthy it was worth it. I dont think there is any need for me to describe the "village concept" they have built here, since I think this is richly described by others. My main comment is just "go" if you seem to be in Bolivia Santa Cruz region. Staff is super nice and helpful and the area is indescribable, the rooms are super nice and big, and the food is good. There's not really anything to say "no" to. The internet seemed to be somewhat overloaded and not working properly, but when you are at this place, you simply dont seem to care, since the rest of the civilization just doesn't matter.
