Aquamare Hotel

This is our second time staying here and we love the hotel and the area as it is a very close walk to the Malecon but without all of the noise. The hotel is beautiful and very clean and the food is really good, especially the breakfast buffet with lots of food to offer. The only thing this time is that we found the staff very slow and not svailable. There was a big mess up with our rooms where our friends got a room and ours wasn't ready until after the 3 o'clock check-in time and then they messed them up and it was supposed to be reversed which in turn made it a mess with room charges. Staff were not available for drink orders and many times we were left waiting for long periods to order and long periods of waiting for orders. It was not a busy time, so not sure what the issue was. Our only dinner we ate there, although was delicious, was a big confusion with our orders. Love this hotel but the staff need to work more on attentiveness and efficiency that would make the stay much more enjoyable.

The hotel is in a great location, close to downtown, and the boardwalk. We had a good experience there.

This day was great the manager is incredible very friendly very helpful but they do need a chair do a little bit more on the cleaning area rooms should be mopped bathrooms should be cleaned every service but very recommendable nice hotel

Very nice resort-styled hotel. Very luxurious and modern. Stores and restaurants are within walking distance. Very safe area. The hotel staff are very nice and welcoming. I highly recommend staying at this hotel for an easy, nice, comfortable stay.

This hotel was the best thing about our trip to San Andreas. The hotel is new and modern. The rooms are very comfortable and the hotel has a nice pool area and bar area. Breakfast is buffet style and excellent. The sarangi were very friendly especially at reception and the bar. The hotel is close to the action in the city of San Andres which is somewhat dirty and unappealing. This seems to be the best hotel in the island from what we saw.

The only thing I did not like was the breakfast. I give it one star. Need better selections for American people not just Colombia people. I do not mind trying new things but I do not eat rice for breakfast. Also the eggs were really bad all 4 days. I will not stay here again. Sorry

This is a gem of a hotel. It is modern and clean. Rooms are spacious, state of the art, and quiet. Staff are wonderful, polite, very helpful. The breakfast buffet has many high quality and tasty options. The restaurant is excellent with fantastic ambience and great cuisine. The rooftop pool is great. The only drawback was that the pool has no separate area for children or a time slot for adults only so it’s not great for couples as children run / scream amok. This is a fantastic place to stay.

You will not be on the beach, but close enough. The building is relatively new, so it will be much more comfortable than other beach-front properties. We came on a family vacation and would stay again there.
