Hotel San Luis Place by Dorado

Our stay at San Luis Place was excellent. Above all, we highlight Pablo's kindness, always attentive to everything. Excellent facilities. And the most beautiful thing was the Reina del Mar beach, the people were super friendly. We brought a great friend Jenny with us. 🥰

Good morning. The place is excellent for resting, the beach is beautiful, the attention was friendly and timely from all the staff, the facilities are very good, they provide daily cleaning service, it is far from the center of the island, but close to another hotel of the same chain

Super comfortable room, with all the comforts. Fantastic breakfast (with several options to choose from). The best thing was the possibility of using the other hotels in the chain (since we couldn't use the exit to the beach, only lounge chairs to sit and enjoy the views).

I had read many negative reviews prior to my visit and did not have high expectations for the hotel. However, it was much better than I expected, the rooms are nice, the bed is very comfortable and the cleanliness is excellent. My room faced the road so I thought I wouldn't be able to sleep because of the constant noise of cars but that wasn't the case, I really slept very well and although cars and motorcycles pass by it is not constantly enough to disturb rest, anyway Anyway, the shower in my room had a bad slope so the water flooded the shower, however, we kindly notified the cleaning lady who was very kind and left the shower spotless during the days we were there. On the other hand, the first receptionist who greeted us was somewhat rude, however, the following days he was a very kind man. In my case we went with breakfast included and it is delicious, they give you different options to choose from, plus you can have any hot drinks you want. We always went down to breakfast early so we didn't have any inconvenience and our breakfast was ready quickly. On the other hand, the location is somewhat removed from the center so to take the excursions we had to take a taxi or bus, however, it is very close to the beaches of San Luis and Rocky Cay (5 minutes walking) which in my opinion are a lot better than the ones in the center, without too many people and more pleasant to rest, so there is no need to worry about the beach****. Another very good aspect of the hotel is that you can use the facilities of the other hotels in the El Dorado chain. We went to the Reina del Mar hotel, which is almost in Rocky Cay, and there we used the chairs and parasols without a problem. We also had drinks and cocktails. at the bar Likewise, we went to the white sand hotel which is in the center and has a swimming pool with a beautiful sand bottom, with waterfalls and jets ideal for resting after the tours. In my opinion, the hotel is good for resting after a day of activities and offers what is necessary for this.

Nice cozy hotel. It has a little beach that is not very busy, perfect for these Covid times. They could include a bar or dining room service. The breakfast is delicious and the people are very helpful and welcoming. It has nice rooms, the best is the one with a sea view. You can take the bus from there to go to the city center (bus price 3,000 pesos). This hotel is part of the El Dorado chain, so you can additionally use the dining room, bar and beach services of the other hotels in the chain. There is one near the hotel (Reina del Mar) on Rocky Cay beach. There are also other hotels from the same chain in the city.

The worst hotel I've ever been to, everything was horrible, the only advantage was that it belonged to a chain and I moved to the Arena Blanca which is in the city center... internet didn't work, terrible coffee, regrettable facilities, snobbish staff, don't even pass by close to this place, nothing close at night, remote place with no transport, no structure, terrible price charged and absurd for what it offers and the photos don't correspond to reality, I paid a lot more and moved to the center.
