After arriving in Palhoca, Brazil for a 35 day vacation, the accommodations that we reserved was terrible. There was no way that we could stay even one night. We were blessed when we called the Firenze Business Hotel and spoke to Pedro. He was fantastic. It was even more than a blessing that the hotel was only a short walk from where we were. After dragging all of our luggage the short distance, we were welcomed with open arms. Pedro went far and above to get us settled. In the morning, we met another angel, Natasha. She worked out all the details so that we could stay for the entire time. Natasha was there every morning with a smile and helped us on every matter that we had.Only due to the dedication of the entire staff, this vacation would have been a disaster. So to Natasha, William, Thayse, Pedro, Paulo, Edwardo, Leonardo, and the entire staff of the Firenze Business Hotel, we thank you. To all those looking for a great place to stay for one night or for a long term length of time, you can do no better than the Firenze Business Hotel and the wonderful staff that they have.

The hotel is located on the outskirts of the beautiful State Park, its pools get their water from hot springs. In need of some remodeling. The food is great but somehow expensive. The room was great and well-located. We love this. Thank you very much for giving us this great room. Dislike the fact that my wife cannot enjoy the full menu since she had surgery and this resort does not compensate for that. Beer is expensive for locals. Based on my extensive travel in other resorts, I believe some drink packages could be available. This would be great and would make the stay more comfortable. Just keep in mind that to get to the resort, you may encounter considerable traffic. If you are planning to stay in the resort for more than 4 days, perhaps consider renting a car and enjoying the beaches in Florianopolis. Overall, we like the resort and we are positive to come back in the future. Perhaps I would advise the staff: Provide clear information on all expenses and details of the resort right there when checking in. We did not know about the food charges. We thought at least that breakfast was included. When checking out, I got impressed and disappointed. Especially with my wife that cannot eat lots of food because of surgery. She eats the same portion as a 10-year-old kid.
