The bathroom is super big! The network signal is good, there is an elevator, parking is free, the hotel's own restaurant is first-class, it is worth living on a long-term holiday.

This is a modern, clean functional hotel with reasonable rates. The location is by the park and about a 20 minute scenic walk into the centre of town. Felt very safe walking back through the park. after dark. Staff were friendly and helpful. Where the place excels is the breakfast which is amazing, best we had in a 2 week trip through Europe. After leaving we wondered if we should have tried the restaurant to see if that was also good.

A comfortable, well-cared small hotel. Perfect stop in the beautiful Black Forest when you are on the way to Italy / Austria/ Switzerland. Prima stay, beautiful large family apartment with sufficient sleeping room for 4 adults. What you don't see on the photos is that behind the banks in the living room are two other bedrooms that you can sleep well. Booking a t****e room is not necessary for a night. What was very fantastic was breakfast. Very well cared. The host made fresh baked eggs / rice egg with spice. Sweet, hearty, fresh breads. Top! And our Mechelse herder was also welcome!!

I was planning to stay at this place as there are not other brand or chain hotels around and from the internet reviews and pictures I thought this could be a good walk-in option as I was not really planning an overnight stay in the area. When approaching the place a first doubt came to my mind, if this is a good idea. Standing in front of this run down building surrounded by big housing blocks, in movies often referred as a ”ghetto-area” I was actually shocked. Still I thought as this a nation chain with certain good reviews and as it was only for a night and a spontaneous decision I was daring to walk inside to realize this was an abandoned place and the lobby used by the locals from the ”block-buildings” around as a shelter; possibly a shelter for refugees, what is actually nice, but the management should consider to remove this ”hotel” from all online channel and post real pictures from this place. The lobby was fully littered and no staff members around. The reception and back office were open to everyone and papers with former guest's details laying around. It seemed as someone was ”helping himself looking for something” if you know what I mean. This is definitely not a hotel in operation ready to welcome guests. Rather a very spooky and abandoned place like in a horror movie. So I sticked to my original plan an left... Wow, if this the Dormero standard one would better sleep in his car or go to one of the many family run hotels. As it was on a Sunday and just for a quick night and sleep I thought I could consider, but I did not feel safe at all and the hygiene and cleanliness was worse than in a public restroom at a busy train station. God help the people who possibly work there - I have not seen anyone! And the feedback system at the door was out of order... What else to expect. Maybe it was the site for a end-of-the world apocalypsovie. Definitely not a hotel or stay you could feel welcome.

Originally, I already had a room and didn't plan to stay here, but the environment of Baden-Baden is very good. I saw that this hotel is very magnificent, so the price on the day of check-in was HK$1800. I think it is a bit expensive for me, but in such a quiet environment I think it's worth it. The room is exquisitely decorated and thoughtful, and the couchon on the bed should be like his founder. It's very special. The room is very organized and comfortable, and it has a hot spring soaked in an ancient feeling. It's worth it recommend

We didn’t really like the hotel’s location and layout. Not really near the village center and in the middle of a clearing, so it could get really hot walking midday before you reach the forest cover. We stayed in the Kohlwald house which is across the street (a surprisingly busy street!) from the main building. So we and other guests had to cross it in our robes going to the pool area. The main building itself was like a maze. Having said that, everything else was great especially the food and the service. Shout out to the staff who waited for us during dinner on 30 July and who unfortunately had to leave before dinner service was done because his shift was up. You were awesome! And of course to our countryman in the staff during breakfast (Allan) you were great too!
