Wow just wow! What a fantastic place to stay! Beds so comfy, all the amenities you need! Two bathrooms! Very handy for 4 girls!!! Hot tub was absolutely fabulous too! Plenty of room for the four us too! Awesome views! Very very comfortable. The added bonus was an extra bed in the front room so this meant we all had a bed and we didn’t have to share! The welcome package was good too with biscuits and Nescafé coffee Yorkshire Tea and hot chocolate and more!

This is a great place to stay to explore the Yorkshire Dales. Nice comfortable rooms and a freshly cooked breakfast. It was also good value for money. Friendly and family run. Just a couple of slight negatives but still worth 5 stars. Housekeeping could be improved, especially for a 4- night stay. Parking could be difficult as some of the spaces were tight.

Firstly, we fell in love with the scenery and the surroundings of this property. We stayed for 2 nights in a family room. The room is spacious and has stunning views. The scenery is outstanding and the atmosphere very peaceful. The cooked/hot breakfast is really tasty. We had trouble to find the property as it was dark when we arrived and Google Maps will keep trying to get you to another address. Please look for the signage on the road when you’re nearly there and follow it. Lots of places to explore if you drive around. We dined at Skipton, as it is only a short drive from the accommodation. We plan to visit the Dales during summer days. We had a lovely time overall. Would surely recommend this place.

Everything about our short stay was perfect A small yet perfectly formed room with en suite facilities was very clean and had the bonus of a fantastic view across the valley. There was a large lounge for guests to use and they also have self catering facilities Breakfast was very nice too Hosts friendly and made themselves available to guests

My friend and I stayed for a weekend in one of the Lodges. It was absolutely fabulous. They are beautifully decorated, comfy and well equipped. There are 2 lodges which have balconies with stunning views and hot tubs. We spent the days walking and exploring the area and it was such a nice place to return to. It felt so private. Location is about a miles walk from Cononley where you can take the regular train service into Skipton. We did this a couple of times to avoid having to find parking in Skipton and it worked very well. I really struggle to find any fault at all with our stay, but if I had to be picky I would say oven gloves and a tea towel would have been helpful. It might have been that these were missing by oversight though as overall there was everything that you could need for your stay. I look forward to coming back

My wife and I stayed in one of the luxury log cabins and that title definitely sums up this accommodation. Beautifully decorated and immaculately clean throughout with every amenity you could wish for. Amazing views of the beautiful Yorkshire countryside from the decking and hot tub makes this the perfect place to get away from it all and relax. Would definitely recommend and can't wait to come back!!!!

If you want to stay in the Skipton area and would like to avoid an urban environment, this is a good choice. This B&B is on a farm with sheep, in between Skipton and Cononley. Pluses: Clean room, bathroom. Great breakfast. Quiet, as you would expect. Still fairly close to town and places to eat dinner. Minuses: They don't let you onto the paddocks where the sheep are. There aren't any outside tables facing the farm areas. There are no mini-fridges in the room; if you want some ice for a cold drink, you have to ask the hosts. They gave me some ice on our first night there, but were nowhere to be found the next evening.

We stayed at Throstle Nest Farm for 3 nights over Easter and thoroughly enjoyed it. You couldn't ask for a better location - so peaceful, with so much wildlife around (sheep and lambs, rabbits, pheasants). Skipton is only a short drive away. The only issue we did have with the location was parking, as on the busier nights all the spaces were taken and we had to park on a steep dirt slope which was really an access to a play area - I had to put a lot of faith in my car's handbrake! We were in room 2 on the ground floor, right off the breakfast room/lounge, which had lovely views out across the Dales. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. The only noise we could hear from the rooms above was one young child running around in the mornings - otherwise nothing. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection of hot and cold food. The juice bottle was always empty when we came to it but the staff would top it up straight away when asked. It would also have been good to have sauce available rather than always having to ask for it. We didn't see much of the owners but when we did they were friendly and helpful. They also have provision for arrival when they are not there with a code on the front door. If we visit the area again we'll definitely stay at Throstle Nest Farm - we'd love to try one of the lodges too as they looked amazing.

Fantastic scenery all around. Staff are very friendly and the bnb itself is stunning. Room 5 was big enough for four of us. Breakfast was very nice aswell. Less than ten miles bites drive into Skipton itself. Would definitely return. Five stars
