Capella Shanghai Jian Ye Li

Hengshan Road Area Shanghai|0.65km from Annata Vintage

Located in the bustling business district of Xuhui, Capella is much better than the ones in Hainan! It's quiet in the middle of the hustle and bustle, making it very convenient to go out for a walk or ride a bike. Although the design of the small five-story building is climbed up and down, the functional areas are indeed divided very well. The sanitation and cleaning are good. Both bathrooms and toilets are smart and have heating functions. They are very friendly to friends who come to Shanghai in the winter. The audio-visual room does not disturb teammates who want to sleep. The light shading in the room is excellent and the sound insulation is very good. , it was quite quiet all night (but I don’t know if it was because there were few or no neighboring guests), which was appreciated by teammates who suffer from insomnia. The service is also very good. From the time of check-in, every employee takes the initiative to say hello, greets you with a smile, and responds quickly to requests. As for breakfast, I think it can be improved. Breakfast is a la carte service and can be ordered and delivered to the room. I went to the restaurant to eat, but my expectations may have been too high. I felt that the product that day was not at an excellent level, and the staff did not feel very busy. Why do I always have to ask for more tea? Haha... The last unhappy thing is that because I like their body wash, I bought it for home use, but I forgot to check it in when I boarded the plane, and the security personnel took it away in vain😭😭😭I will bring my children back next time, continue. Keep up the service level!

Guisu Homestay (Shanghai Shaanxi South Road)

Hengshan Road Area
Great location, near many restaurants and walking distance to iAPM, Huaihai Road, 3 MRT stations - Shanxi Road, Ruijin Road, Jiashan Road MRT stations. Also short distance by Didi rides to Xujiahui, Nanjing Road and Zhongshan Park. Recommend this for couples and families.
Lotus Tangyuese Homestay (South Shaanxi Road Branch)

The apartment is lovely and bathed in light, situated at the South side of the old French concession, in proximity of various cafes, bakeries, and restaurants. This 3-floor apartment sleeps 6 adults or any combination of adults and children easily with three rooms, each with a queen bed. Recently renovated, the white-themed space is an excellent match with the (steep) wooden stairs leading to the bedrooms and bathrooms. The landlady is efficient and quick to respond to queries, make sure that you add her on WeChat for easy communication. I will definitely look to book this property again, but probably when the weather is warmer as the house is difficult to heat up during the winter, though equipped with ACs in each room.

There are more positives than negatives for this room. Positives: amazing location. It is a short bike ride to many places we needed to go like Iapm, grocery stores, and subway lines. The room is also in an elevator building on the 16th floor. Therefore the room had good ventilation. It didn't feel dusty like a lower floor would. Another positive is the washer dryer combo. Some negatives: our shower head broke on the second day. But fortunately the host communicated immediately and sent us a new one within 30 minutes. That was nice. Another negative is when you take a shower the water flows out onto the floor so you need to sweep it into a drain to avoid flooding. If the host updates the shower system then this room would be 100% worth the price. For now I give it 4 stars because of the bathroom.

Come here temporarily for review, this location is too close to the hospital on foot! It is a quiet courtyard in the midst of Shanghai's hustle and bustle, all of which are small western-style buildings of historical buildings, very Shanghai-like! The host is very attentive, and the reply is very timely. The room is very clean. There is a feeling that although the sparrow is small, it has all internal organs. The details of the infrastructure are in place! The point is that it is very quiet, and it is very convenient to walk everywhere!
