"Great location, right at the ever popular Nanjing East Pedestrian Street. The front desk staff are excellent, very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed staying at the spacious comfortable and clean family room. Our initial complaint about slow flowing wash basin was IMMEDIATELY attended to. Kudos to the front desk staff👍 In addition, we got to enjoy the cocktail and snacks at the Executive Lounge in the evening. Definitely a great place to stay in Shanghai."

"The hotel is conveniently located between two subway stations and walkable to the Raffles City mall and Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. The staff here were extremely helpful, they helped me to connect to the wifi and to operate the washing machine. There is a fridge in the lobby for communal use. There is daily housekeeping. You can also get hot water from the coffee machine in the lobby which is great for cold weather. I had a room on the top floor which had a skylight window. I really liked the toiletries as well!"

Location is superb! Right downstairs is Nanjing pedestrian street, less than 5 mins walk to M&M, all the good food and attractions are within walking distance.
I travelled with a young kid and old folks. This hotel is awesome for them. Service by the hotel staff is exceptional! Special mention to Ivy for excellent service and ensuring I got the rooms near each other at the same level. Every staff is super friendly and helpful.

"Location: 20-minute shuttle bus ride from Shanghai Pudong Airport.
There are stores and restaurants nearby.
Cleanliness and room amenities: My room is clean and the bedsheets smelled fresh and clean. The lobby, dining area and elevator were clean too. Water pressure was high in the shower and toilet. Toiletries were provided. There was a nice view of the village from my hotel window. Quiet surroundings.
Service: Provided free airport pick-up and drop-off. The staff communicated through Trip.com chat box for instructions. The name of the hotel (in Chinese and in English)is printed on the bus and the driver carries a placard with the name of the hotel written on it too. A bilingual voice-over gave instructions on the shuttle bus.
Upon arrival at the hotel, the staff asked me about the time of my airport drop- off.
The staff could speak English.
The hotel provided a wide selection for breakfast- Chinese and western food which were constantly replenished.

"The hotel's location is excellent, making it convenient for getting around. The room is small but comfortable, and the sanitation is clean and tidy. All the staff are gentle and polite, especially the cleaning lady, who was warm, greeted us, and proactively offered service. The experience was good, and my child was very satisfied! One area for improvement would be to add a place to hang clothes in the bathroom."

Getting Around Shanghai
Shanghai is a city with a huge flow of overseas tourists. If you’re flying, there are two main airports: Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) and Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA). But most international flights land at Pudong Airport.
Pudong Airport is about 45 kilometers from downtown and handles most international flights. You can get to the city by metro, an airport bus, or if you’re feeling fancy, the Maglev Train—it’s fast and kinda cool!
On the other hand, Shanghai Hongqiao airport is just 15 kilometers from the city center and mostly deals with domestic flights. You’ve got metro lines 2 and 10 to zip you straight to city.

One of the staff specially took us to explore the different types of room so we can decide which room type to take which we really appreciate!! The location is so accessible!!We can reach the main tourist attractions like Xintiandi, Yuyuan and Nanjing road within 10 mins by their cab Didi and costs less than USD$3 only and the pick up and drop off point is just in front of the hotel which is so easy for us!!They even offer free popcorn and drinks and amenities like travel sunblock cream, soap, floss, body cream throughout our stay!!All of the staff were exceptionally warm, attentive, and professional — always greeting us with genuine smiles and going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable such as helping us to book ******* delivery and helping us to collect our taobao parcels.
Our room was spotless clean, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully prepared such as the toilet seat with a warm function. Every detail, from the amenities to the housekeeping, reflected the hotel’s high standards and care for guests.
Special mention to the front desk team— their friendliness and helpful recommendations truly made our stay even more enjoyable.

MM62104****Service: The front desk lady was really enthusiastic and proactively helped with our luggage, and explained the shuttle service. Having a shuttle is super convenient; you don't have to worry about anything, just catch it on time.
Environment: We booked a family room, and our child absolutely loved it. They had their own private space that felt both safe and cozy. There were even building blocks in the room, so they could play quietly every day for a while. When we left, they said they wanted to stay here again next time.
Outside the hotel, there are simple restaurants, BBQ spots, and a supermarket, which is quite convenient. Every night we came back, we'd take a stroll around the entrance.

MMccaBWe made a one-night stop here on our 10-day trip, after exploring Hangzhou and Suzhou - and we were revisiting, having already enjoyed four lovely nights here earlier. The stay was pleasant and comfortable, with a appreciated free shuttle service to nearby spots. But the highlight was the complimentary supper every night after 9pm - delicious wonton, noodles, and rice noodles! The staff were friendly, polite, and courteous throughout, making our stay even more wonderful!

GGuest UserThe room was more spacious than I'd imagined, and the view from the window was quite nice, with Jing'an Temple visible in the distance. The walk-through area in the room was just wide enough to open a suitcase, leaving little extra space, but it was perfectly fine for a solo trip.
Soundproofing in the room wasn't great; noises from outside the door were quite clear (though this is a common drawback of hostels). This might be an issue for light sleepers.
Transportation is incredibly convenient, as it's only about a three-minute walk from the subway station, which really helps save on travel expenses.
**Cleanliness:** The shared bathrooms were exceptionally clean; an attendant would clean them immediately after each use, which was very reassuring.
**Service:** Upon arrival, a staff member showed me to my room and introduced the facilities. The lobby offered quite a few amenities; I recall there was an ice machine, and I even borrowed an umbrella from the front desk when it rained during my stay.
Overall, I was very satisfied and would happily choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.

The staff are very friendly and attentive, even providing foot baths and bedtime tea in the evening. The breakfast is delicious with a good variety of dishes. I will definitely come back on my next visit.

The most value for a very big room, it had an extra space with a couch and a gorgeous view, and we loved the bathtub. Eeolhc2My stay at the Ritz-Carlton Pudong SH was truly exceptional. The whole team speaks excellent English, and everyone was incredibly attentive.
The breakfast was outstanding: delicate wontons, high-quality fresh products, excellent fruits, perfect pastries and great detox juices. I also loved the fact that you can actually see the chefs cooking and interact with them, it creates such a cool and authentic atmosphere.
I also had dinner at the restaurant, which was good, although the wait was a bit long.
A special thank-you to Molly, who was absolutely amazing throughout my stay, extremely professional, kind and genuinely dedicated.
Thank you as well to Mike and his concierge team, who were always pleasant and helpful.

2202030****The hotel is about a twenty-minute drive from Pudong Airport. You don't need to book in advance; just contact them directly after landing. We waited about ten minutes for the pick-up. Since our flight arrived early, the hotel arranged an immediate check-in, which was very thoughtful. However, there's only one shuttle to Disney in the morning at 7:20 AM, which is too early, and the frequency is too low. So we ended up taking taxis ourselves for both days, which was very inconvenient. The bedding was rich and comfortable, and the breakfast was simple but had everything you'd need. I'd recommend it.
