Overall I am satisfied with my stay. Positive feedback- The staff was very friendly and accommodating, every single one of them. The selection of pillows on the beds was wonderful. They were labeled soft and firm, however I'm not sure that all of the labels were correct. Negative feedback- One of the trash cans in the dining area was overflowing on the evening when we arrived. There were flies on it. The next morning at breakfast the trash had not been emptied. The bed was beyond uncomfortable for me. It was very hard, but I know that is a personal preference. The pancake machine at breakfast was constantly out of pancakes, and there was no syrup. The only choice in toppings was caramel and raspberry sauce from a squeeze bottle. Who eats pancakes without syrup?! I haven't figured out what I'm an expert in yet, but I'm sure it will come soon since I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express.

Using new tap card for room. Clean room with a bathtub, hot but not super hot shower water. TV set with many channels. Comfortable bed with 5 pillows. Excellent breakfast of eggs, sausage, potatoes, biscuits and gravy with cranberry juice, orange juice, and apple juice and good coffee. Right next door to a Denny's.

We stayed in this hotel because it was suggested by the other couple we were traveling with. We were visiting the Kansas City area as a two night getaway. We had a nice room, but was surprised that the room rate was so high for a location so far from the attractions in the metro area, and for a place that charged extra for prepackaged breakfast items. The location is fine for people passing through on Interstate 35. Also, why bother building such a tiny indoor swimming pool that was not at all suitable for actual swimming by adults. We didn’t use the pool on this trip. It might be okay for small children to play in.

Ive had the pleasure of staying here a couple days a week for 4-5 months now. Not only is the location great, but the hotel is very clean! The beds and pillows felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. The hotel seems to be a bit older however, it has been nicely updated. The pool and fitness center are also very nice! They seem to be short staffed (like the rest of the U.S) however the employees they do have really are exceptional. Every time I’ve had contact with the staff the are friendly. Nicole at the front Desk is exceptional. She really seems to care! She had the answers to all my questions and was familiar with the area and had some great recommendations! Any request I have ie) room serviced, extra pillows, coffee, etc. have always been met. Customer service like this is hard to find, and is one of the many reasons I keep coming back.

Being that I am a Diamond Member I knew how the Hilton Brand Hotels are supposed to run. This one is falling short of the brand. Seems to be an ongoing trend. On arrival even though we had already checked in early in the day, something was wrong in the computer regarding our payment. The hostess seemed not able to resolve it because of the ”new system”. It appeared she needed more training. She was not able to give more than one access card, she also was not able to get our mobile key to work. The HVAC was OFF when we finally got to our room at 11:59PM and it was HOT all night long. It would not of done any good to change as I am sure all the rooms were the same considering this was our ”reserved” room in advance. The TV channels would come and go as if the wind blew the wrong direction. We called it a night and went to sleep.
