Laburnum Cottage Guest House

This is my go to place when visiting Knutsford, I always get a friendly welcome, the rooms are clean and have a tv, kettle, tea and coffee, and the breakfast is the best ever. I’ve stayed in other hotels and b&b’s but this is far and away the best. 100% recommend.

We just returned from a vacation to England which included a night at the Laburnum Cottage Guest House. A warm hello and a fresh pot of milk for tea welcomed us after a day of exploring. We have stayed here twice now and will happily return again. The room was spacious with a huge bed and great bed linens. The ensuite bathroom had an excellent shower and everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious and the conversation was engaging. A local pub, The Bull's Head (about a 30 minute walk) had been recommended the year before so we were eager to go again. Laburnum Cottage was such a pleasant place to stay on our last night before traveling home to Canada and just about 20 minutes from Manchester Airport.

Amazing room , wonderful breakfast, friendly, helpful, the double bed was comfortable,bedroom was great also had great nights sleep , tea and coffee+kettle in room , bathroom wonderful , clean and tidy . Happy

A great stopover during a cycling trip. Karl and Karen were great hosts and were very accommodating. We stayed in an annexe with plenty of room for three guys, with a downstairs shower room. Karl gave great advice on where to eat and Karen’s breakfast the following morning was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and I’d have no hesitation in re-visiting if ever in Cheshire.

Excellent . Karen made us feel so welcome .beautiful and spotless. Bed so comfy. Highly recommend. .the breakfast full English was amazing. We stayed one night ,as we were at a wedding nearby. Would definately visit again .

Spent a lovely night here as a stop over on our journey back from Liverpool. Owners were very friendly and helpful recommending a local pub for a meal which was fantastic. Our room was excellent very comfortable and I had the best sleep I have had in over 2 months. Very informative information pack in the room with lots of places of interest to visit and very well stocked with teas and coffees. Breakfast had a good selection including a variety cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, jams etc. and even my favourite spread Marmite 🤣🤣 Being traditional we had the full English with toast which was well cooked and presented. Very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend.

A very pleasant stay in a very nice part of England. Finer details made clear on arrival, rooms clean and bed comfy. Was just a brief overnight stay post wedding but breakfast hearty and individual care and interest from Karen to guests. Always keen to help out.

Clean, friendly, great breakfast, no fuss and well priced. What more can you want? Phone call the day before from the owners to find out our arrival time was good and reassuring when going somewhere new. The room was comfortable with good power sockets for all the devices.

We traveled to visit the Harry Potter Forbidden Forest . We were warmly welcomed and shown to our rooms which where beautiful and very clean. Karen gave advice on places to eat in the area. Breakfast was well organised with lots of choices and my daughter was accommodated with dairy free spread for her toast. Nothing seemed to be too much bother. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area
