Newby Bridge Country Caravan Park

I've left 5 star reviews for this site before and can't add to them except to say that on this last trip there was a baby deer walking through the park early one morning. The peace and tranquillity here is just amazing.

Is a cracking little spot for a stay, good location for travelling in and out, staff helpful, dog friendly pods with dog treats on arrival, our pod had a good view into the fells, we were blessed with a quiet week which made it even better….

Lovely place would recommend 100%, lodge was huge lots of space for 3 children, good location, quite location and easy to check in and out. Welcome pack in lodge, cleaning pack as well would love to go back.

Excellent location at the bottom of Lake Windermere, easy to travel to other areas and some for hiking and the local pubs had delicious food. The site itself is beautiful and the caravan we stayed in had everything you could possibly need.

Shame about the weather, but it is the Lakes! Van was good value for money. Very tidy. Could have done with a lamp in the lounge. Staff were friendly when they were around. Site could do with a general tidy up. Had a relaxing time.

A great place to stay next to Windermere and Coniston. Nice quiet park in a secluded woodland setting. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. We were in an accessible cabin which had a wet room with shower seat and safety rails along with disabled friendly features throughout the caravan

Very clean very quiet 🤫 nice to just chillout if not planning much but if you are planning on relaxing with the tv the signals not great so was stuck with normal TV. Therefore it's great for the dog walks little pathway to local garage in little pathway also. We have been twice now the 1st time was a bot of a mess as the boiler went of and they could not fix it due to it being a bank holiday which was the April when the weather was glorious had our niece with us and was unpleasant not being able to shower properly 😢 I did complain about this which they gave me 30% discount off what was great also got alot of goodies chocolate wine praseco dog treats etc. That was a lovely gesture thanks but I'm just unsure about the price it comes under as it can be very expensive so won't be returning again. Also be careful around the long grasses my dog did get a tick

Quiet park, and good for a nice relaxing time away at the lakes. Lovely little welcome pack on arrival. The cabin we stayed in was lovely and clean. Had everything we needed, and was easy to get to. It’s about a 20 min drive from Windermere with the lake and some lovely shops. 5 minute drive to fell foot a lovely walk with dog and lake activities. A little shop/petrol station with a short walk from the caravan park was super handy. Could have done with more info on how to use things within the pod e.g the extractor lol! No idea how to turn it on and set the alarm off a few times as it clearly wasn’t working! Dog friendly place, but not many recommendations for dog friendly areas but suppose google is good for that!! Overall would recommend staying here :)
