We have been coming to Zephyros for a few years now. It is a nice and cozy hotel. Always nice and helpful staff. Always cleaning. Nice beach beds and a nice swimming pool. Very good service. A nice restaurant with different and tasty dishes every day. it's all about enjoyment. I really recommended. I love this place.

We have now been here for the fourth time and not for nothing. The people are very friendly. I like it when you see the same people. There is little turnover and I find that so special. You really feel at ease. The food is delicious and varied. The rooms are clean and it smells like vanilla when you walk through the hotel. The gardens are beautiful. Cleaning is done all day. What I also like is that you don't have to bring beach towels / swimming pool towels, because they are ready in your hotel room. The beach is directly at the hotel. There are nice sunbeds and the beach is really nice there. It is a wide sandy beach and not a pebble beach. In the afternoon you can have a nice lunch on the terrace, but you can also get a yoghurt across the street from the hotel. Cross the street and you walk straight into the large supermarket. It is highly recommended if you want to enjoy a wonderful holiday. See you soon!

The rooms were nice and clean with change of bedding and towels every other day and 2 bottles of water left in our room everyday. We had to get the shower head and kettle changed because they both were faulty. The shower leaked every time we used it. The staff especially the male staff weren't very friendly but the room service ladies were extremely friendly. The restaurant was like a school canteen very basic. The food and plates were cold every meal. The coffee jugs were made in advanced and covered with a beach towel so if you went down to breakfast later the coffee was cold. The orange juice was plain water mixed with a sachet of Orange crystals. Nearly all the tables had dirty folded napkins under the legs to stop them from wobbling. We thoroughly enjoyed the tasty bread for breakfast. This is the only thing we had for breakfast because everything else was cold. We had to eat out 4 evenings because the food was so bad, which made it an expensive holiday. There wasn't a Gym as advertised. There wasn't a bar to use on an evening or a very relaxing lounge. Didn't get any help from the rep at all. We didn't let the hotel spoil our holiday because it was the first holiday abroad we have had for over 4 years. Definitely wont go again.

Stayed here for 10 nights the beginning of October 23. First of all I want to recommend the staff here, they were all very friendly and attentive, at breakfast and dinner we never waited long for drinks. The room was clean and tidy and we had fresh towels and water daily. The location is perfect, being so close to the beach is really nice. The only fault I have with this hotel is the cost of drinks, a pint of mythos is €7, which is a lot. Also my wife got a bottle of ice tea and was charged €6! No ice or glass. Of course this doesn't really matter as there is a shop over the road where you can buy ice cold beer for <€2, and also bars where drinks are cheaper. Overall we were very happy with this hotel and would definitely recommend!

First time staying at Zephyros hotel, I had a great time enjoying a dip at the pool, fantastic views at the beach that’s a minute away. Friendly and welcoming staff, I would like to give a special thanks to Giwrgos who provided me with some great information about the area I was staying at and the wonderful places I can go and explore.

First, let me say that the hotel was perfectly located near to the Beach as possible, great location. Also, it was remarkably clean and the rooms, poolside and walkways too. Room was quite small but adequate. Only German channels (8 of them) one Sky, bed linen changed every other day, and two bottles of free water every day, and fresh beach towels daily. But, within 24 hours of our arrival we had 4 "mis-haps". Firstly, the shower head was pouring water sideways, bit of a shock as cold water hit me unexpectedly, then the toilet lid would hit you on the back when seated, the drain in the floor suddenly overflowed with "dirty" water (Ugh), then the kettle lid fell off while my wife went to pour, almost scalding her! All the items were fixed quickly, but surely previous tenants must have reported at least a couple of these problems?? Also, the shower cubicle itself was so small and round that if you dropped something, you would have to step outside to bend down to pick it up!!! We were B & B only, but the breakfasts left a lot to be desired. Orange juice only, coffee was very bitter, stone cold fried eggs, bacon under-cooked. Milk, butter, margarine, jam, honey etc. all came in little plastic long-life containers ( a nigh**are to open or recycle). Added to that, two days running the milk was OFF, even though the use by date said Dec 2023, even though I reported it earlier. Would I return to Stalis? Probably, but not to this hotel as it doesn't deserve anything more than 3 stars at best. Finally, there are notices in all the rooms about putting towels on poolside beds/umbrellas early morning, stating they would be removed if not occupied - NEVER HAPPENED - same crowd every day hogging the same locations, ignorant....

Just returned from a trip to Stalin’s and the Zephyrous Hotel. Our room wasn’t in the main block, but in the adjacent block next door, we had a great sea view from the balcony, parts of the room were a bit dated. But it was spotlessly clean, the shower and loo were brilliant, lots of hot water and a powerful shower. We were grateful for the bottles of water left every day. The room was up several flights of stairs with no lift, not too much of a problem for us, but could be for some. We tried to make sure we had everything with us for a day by the pool to save having to climb them to much. We hired a car for 3 days to explore further, and the area was beautiful, our trip to Spinalonga was lovely, we explored the mountains and down to the south of the island, which is very different. We booked half board, unfortunately this was an error on our part, breakfast was ok, plenty of choices, however we were very disappointed with the evening meal, so chose to eat out. The pool area and it’s closeness to the beach was fabulous, however some of the sun beds were very uncomfortable and you could see they were in need of repair. Everyone was very friendly, particularly Athena in reception. We found the cost of drinks very expensive, but there is a beach bar next door which was better. Whilst I loved the area, I did feel a little let down by some aspects of the hotel, the advertised John Street restaurant was closed and seemed to be being used as a storage shed, in parts there were redundant, possibly broken sun beds being stored, the lack of a**osphere in the canteen like dining room, and the poor choices of eating options means we wouldn’t stay here again.
