Find 2-Star Hotels in Cancun

Its a great place in a great area w zero concern for crime. The apartment is great & within walking distance to food stores, starbucks, local food and the bank. Not easily accessible, especially when it rains & floods. Nice few days, v comfortable bed, two couches, full kitchen, brand new fridge -- has everything you need to cook for a Family. Highly recommended for a true local and great experience.

Great place! The staff is very helpful and nice. Close to nightlife and street food. Would stay here again! There’s a very cute dog and we ate an a drank a lot. It’s clean and close to everything. I got a tattoo in the sidewalk behind the hotel. Why does TripAdvisor make you write a minimum of 200 characters?

It not in the center of the city or in the hotel zone. No public transportation there. Taxi is expensive. They wanted 300 peso/person from ADO Cancun station. Petty pricey. No Uber either. Going to airport, luckily there is Uber. Cheaper than taxi which is about 350 peso. Checking in was lengthy. Cube was abit cold for me even temperature was hike up to the highest. They ask to pay tax and fee again. Even though clearly in my booking it stated tax and fee included. Opportunity to charge more. Didn't want to and too tired to argue. Cube is clean. Locker and cube locked out once. Have to get them to reset. Breakfast okay. Thanks

I moved over here from across the street at fiesta americana because they were booked up when I extended my trip and this little place is quite the treasure. No swimming at the hotel besides a small pool but you can just walk across the street and get breakfast at the café in the Intercontinental and then you’re right there on the beach or drive to a public beach. All beaches are technically public on the waterline up to about 20 m from the tide line. The hotel even has a little breakfast place on the water with shaded seating and very friendly staff. AC here was stronger than the fancy condo we had in Tulum I think. Quiet neighborhood next to fancy places and yachts but I felt safe here and comfortable. Very clean. The maid even reset and cleaned my room after my first night. Spectacular tidiness is a good sign. Staff were all very friendly. Highly recommend if you want to save $100 from places across the street and find your own beach shade. You could bring your own umbrella and drinks and have your own beach resort and stay here for very cheap to rest and recharge. I’m guessing this place is locally owned also which is nice to support the locals more. Lagoon photo is from this hotel, the swing and bar are at Intercontinental across the street. Oh and this hotel is a block or so from a nice Pemex mini super for all your snacks and water needs at better prices than I saw in busy area. I have not found affordable sunscreen though. 🙃🌴🤷‍♂️

I stayed here one night as I had a long layover in Cancun and wanted something close to the ADO bus station. The hotel rooms could really use a refresh, but there was nothing terrible about them. They were clean enough, however I did find toiletries left over by previous guests; made me wonder about the housekeeping. The pool was very welcoming and a blessing in the heat. And speaking of heat, the AC in my room was old and loud like a jet engine (light sleepers beware!). I really have to tip my hat to the front desk staff. I had some issues with the new digital arrival forms (do yourself a favour at Mexico customs and go the old fashion way; talking to the guy in the box. The new face scanning system is a monumental pain in the ****!), and the lady working the desk moved mountains to help me (with my limited Spanish and her non-existent English). I can say enough good things about her, as she went above and beyond to help me. I wish I got her name, so I can give her proper credit in this review. All in all, an okay hotel.

I am a Korean who stayed while traveling. First of all, thank you so much for the kindness of the staff. There were many locations, facilities and playgrounds, so I was able to go well. 👍👍

We had a great overnight stay at Mezcal hostel as a group of friends. Rooms were great, all equipped with A/C’s and very comfortable. We loved the pool, and had breakfast before leaving which was great! Lionel went over and beyond, he was super helpful and very kind! Overall a great experience, would highly recommend.
