5-Star Hotels in Cancun

It’s a big scale hotel with all the facilities, swimming pools are nice. Service is just standard, welcome snacks are missing and we have to ask to slippers. Thought it’s pretty standard provision for the fees we’re paying. Great views from the rooms.

Superb hotel, restaurants are delicious, Asian restaurants are confusing, favorite Italian restaurant, the hotel occasionally has a buffet by the pool. Facilities are great, rooms are large, adults only, no children, great stay.

When i booked this hotel, just look photos and price. I think like this expensive hotel must be excellent. But... 1. This is like 3 stars hotel. 2. Personals very bad. If you didn't pay them, nobody served for you. Just one time they can give you juice or something. Second time you need wait 20 minutes 3. I booked room for 2 people. But inside everything for one. Need ask many time for bring one more soap, or shampoo. And surely need pay.... 4. No any amenities. Just pool and restaurants. 5. Normally if you pay this money in Dubai or Turkey, you can see whats the 5 stars. He you can't see any stars. 6. I think have just one reason for like this high price. It's a erotic show. Name is erotic. Nothing more. Just name:):):):) So, if you have money, and want to rest. Didn't go this hotel. I booked it for 5 days. But stay there just 1 night.

The hotel feels a bit dated, like one of those older-generation resorts (which is common in Cancun, given that the first Hyatt was developed here back in 1974), but it's well-maintained and the rooms are very clean. The two-bedroom suite is actually a one-bedroom suite connected to a standard room next door. There are many Westin Vacation Club salespeople here promoting timeshares, all part of the Marriott group, and they frequently call the rooms.

Perfectly located on the Cancun Hotel Zone strip, this resort strikes a great balance — close enough to the action if you want it, yet far enough away to truly unwind. The property itself is charming, not overly large, which makes everything easily accessible. The pools are just the right size for activities and socializing, but the real highlight is the stunning beach — that’s where I spent most of my time. Dining options are plentiful with several restaurants to choose from (reservations are required), and the bars offer a wide variety of drinks. The café is also a must-visit. Overall, I had a wonderful experience. This isn’t a massive, party-centric resort — it’s better suited for travelers looking to relax and enjoy the beach in a more laid-back atmosphere. If there’s one area for improvement, it would be refreshing the rooms and hallways, as they’re starting to show their age.

We would like to start with what we liked. The breakfast options were excellent, with a great variety and even fresh salmon available. The pool area and main pool were very nice and clean, and the staff at the pool were kind and attentive. However, overall the experience did not fully satisfy us. The beach area is very windy, making it difficult to swim, and it is also not very easy to access. The general vibe of the hotel seems more suitable for party-oriented guests rather than families with small children. The biggest issue we encountered was the dinner reservation system. All restaurants require advance reservations except for one. As we are traveling with two small children, having dinner at 9 pm is not possible for us, and all earlier time slots were fully booked several days in advance. Unfortunately, the staff were not flexible and did not offer any solution. We asked if we could eat at the bar, but were told no due to regulations. We also asked about takeaway food and received the same answer. Room service offered only a very limited menu with a few main courses, two salads, and a small selection of antipasti. We believe this policy should be reconsidered. A first-come, first-served system for most restaurants, with perhaps only one requiring reservations, would work much better — especially for families. It was disappointing to pay for an all-inclusive stay without having the opportunity to enjoy most of the restaurants.

The hotel staff were all incredibly kind, and both the room and facilities were spotless. The food at the poolside bar and other snack spots within the hotel wasn't exceptional (for example, the matcha latte I ordered had no matcha flavor at all), but it varied, and the convenience of being able to order something anytime I wanted to eat or drink outweighed any minor disappointments. I made a reservation at the steak restaurant for dinner, and the appetizer salad and soup were much larger than I expected. I felt bad about not being able to finish them, so I'd recommend that those who eat light inquire about portion sizes beforehand. The room service menu was also extensive, and I found myself wishing I could have tried more. While it's not a beachfront hotel, meaning you have to take a shuttle bus to the private beach, and thus not ideal for those who want the ocean right outside their door, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This resort has met all my expectations and beyond. Room was nice and clean, and the all inclusive food in all the restaurants were good. Hasienda Sissal was a restaurant that stood out, the live music on Tue and Thu nights were worth experiencing. We went sea fishing one day and brought back some fresh fish with us to the hotel and to our surprise the kitchen cooked the fish for us as of the all inclusive package. So would I recommend this resort to anyone who hasn’t visited Cancun? It is a definitely a YES!

The staff in general is always willing to help you, I only had a bad time, upon arrival before arriving at our room, they offered a promotional package to my wife, she accepted and “invited” us a breakfast (which was already included in our all inclusive rate) There began our unpleasant experience. We were summoned at 8:00 am, at first the person who accompanied us to lunch was very friendly, but after he hurried us at breakfast, we could not have breakfast what we wanted because there was no time, only 30 minutes, when a day before we They said they invited us to a breakfast to give us a presentation about Omni hotels. We wanted to finish breakfast, but we agreed to see the hotel suites and then they took us to their sales room, when they tried to sell us the vacation package that we from the beginning said we were not interested they became aggressive and tried to pressure my wife , so we stopped the “presentation” and left, but they made us have a bad time, of course they didn't give us anything promised. I recommend you not accept any promotion at this hotel, because your sales staff does not know how to treat customers. Otherwise, all good.

We had an amazing stay at Altitude at Krystal Grand. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Our room was beautiful, very spacious, and extremely clean. The ocean-view balcony was one of our favorite features, we spent so much time relaxing there, enjoying the incredible views and peaceful atmosphere. The location of the resort is truly one of its biggest highlights. It sits on one of the best stretches of beach in Cancun, with crystal-blue water and calm waves that made the beach experience unforgettable. The beach service was also a huge plus and something we appreciated, especially compared to other Cancun resorts we have stayed at. The restaurant options were great, and we had no issues making reservations during our stay. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and beautiful surroundings made for a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation. There are a few areas where the resort could improve. The pools and many of the bars close a little too early, and extending those hours would make the experience even better. The buffet could also use more variety and improved dessert options. Adding something like a self-serve ice cream station would be a great addition and is something many other resorts offer. Aside from those small improvements, our experience was amazing. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely return to Alttude at Krystal Grand for another Cancun vacation.
