Bait and switch masters. Given the fact that this is a very popular resort, management obviously feels entitled to provide the service they deem minimally sufficient in order to maximize profits. My wife and I unknowingly made reservations for a takeover four day weekend. The group doing the takeover had their own events either away from the resort or in specific areas of the resort with no access available to the other guests. I had no issue with that fact given that they paid extra for their events. The fact that the group had over 80% of the rooms reserved resulted in the events organized for the rest of the guests, having next to no attendance, the club was dead every night we were there. The takeover group was very friendly and we had no issues with them. We didn’t see them very much. I requested a transfer to another one of their resorts but Adrian Guevara, supervisor on duty for Premier member services, was unwilling to transfer us unless I paid current prices for those resorts. I made my reservation for temptation ten months ago and even then, the rooms were far from inexpensive. I was not willing to pay more to be transferred. Mr Guevara was rude and the furthest thing from service oriented. Though the entertainment staff tried to improve the atmosphere, the playmakers were for the most part, the only ones on the dance floor every night we were there. Overall, a very unpleasant experience.

We had a wonderful experience at La Luce Italian restaurant. The food was delicious, authentic, and well-presented. I enjoyed every bite of my meal. The service was excellent as well. Our hostess, Diana, greeted us warmly and seated us promptly. Our waiter, Ismaiel, was very helpful and interactive, checked on us frequently, and made us feel welcome. He also had a good sense of humor. The chef, Sergio, personally came to say hi and thanked us for dining at his restaurant. He was very friendly and professional. The manager, Rizo, also stopped by our table and asked us about our experience. He was very courteous and attentive especially to our dietary restrictions. Hats off to him for going all the way to Maxal to get 3 milk cake for us. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a cozy and satisfying Italian meal. It was one of the most memorable dining experiences I have had in Cancun

This review is in comparison to our previous stays, not our initial thoughts on the property. The Vine has always been our go-to resort and our last visit in November 2019 was amazing. Unfortunately we have found that the quality just isn't as good as it used to be: Food quality was the biggest disappointment and has definitely gone downhill. Bluewater was always our favourite but quickly became our least favourite this trip. Pizza at Nebbiolo is delicious. House red wine has changed and was horrible. A/C in the room was minimal - would not go below 71 - we requested a fan but unfortunately didn't get one (yes we know to close the patio doors to ensure it's on). The main areas/restaurants also used to be air conditioned but no longer seem to be, especially in Dragons. Chair game is fierce! I enjoy the sunrise and would be down around 6am and a lot of hot spots were already saved. We were there for 7 days in a Preferred Junior Suite and only received bar/snack refills one day. We mentioned to our floor butler and asked for the refill, still nothing! Normally we received three mini liquors, Pringles and M&M's daily... this trip only on the day of check in. It's unfortunate because we truly do love The Vine - the rooms, views, pools, entertainment and service are still outstanding, but in comparison to previous visits it's no longer a resort we care to return to. Side note: Ricardo at Nebbiolo is fantastic and was the star of our week!

Make your entrance in one of the most desirable locations in all of Cancún. Breathe in the ocean air. Sway in a balcony hammock. Soak up the sun and scene at Bungalow Beach Club. Treat yourself at the spa. Take a swing at 18 holes. Recharge in a gorgeous suite. Welcome to SLS Cancun, a siren of the Caribbean calling you to its shores.
GGuest User2023.07.08
Where do I start from? Daniel , Erik and the whole squad were exceptional. SLS Cancun is situated in the Marina which is probably the most expensive and most luxurious place in the whole of Cancun. There are loads of restaurants and a big shopping mall literally 7-10 mins walk from the hotel. The Marina is amazing with loads of fine dinning and descent priced restaurants. I stayed in one of the suites which happens to have 2 bathrooms and a full ocean view. The best thing about this hotel and the area (the Marina) is how private, secure (tho Cancun is safe) and affluent the area is. I call the area little Miami. If you want a loud noisy area, this is not the place for you. But if you want a bit of class and then drive into the noisy area and back to peace then SLS is for you. People pay to come to the beach so it’s a private beach but obviously free for hotel guest , so you will never see a rowdy group of people. I rented a car during my stay through the hotel without even paying a deposit to the car company and obviously you get Valet parking every time. The guys are attentive and always happy to help.Ask for Daniel and Erik, those guys are everything you need. I’ll see you soon.

We had an amazing time at this resort.
My wife and I were blown away at the exceptional service we received from the staff at this resort. It is not possible to name everybody personally but the guys at the Café Mexico were incredibly nice, specifically Roberto, Stephanie and Hector. The waiters, servers, room service, bartenders, people at the check in/out counter, literally everybody made this trip even more special for us. We highly recommend this place. We only left once to go jet skiing but spent the rest of our time at the resort, we just really loved the service we received here.

I booked the Pyramid - Ocean Front room with two other couples based on the online reviews and the fancy brochure I perused online and I wish I could give it 5 stars. To begin with, I booked the Ocean Front room as this was supposed to be an adult-only block of rooms, yet they were not -- there were families with children in this block of hotel rooms, which was quite annoying as I was charged more for choosing the ocean front - adult-only room. Having to go up a set of stairs before reaching the elevators that would take us to our hotel room -- with luggage, mind you, was not fun at all. A huge design flaw. Check-in was fairly quick because we booked the rooms with the black wristband and so that was okay--we avoided a long line. The rooms were clean but the two bathrooms were extremely dated--not at all what you see in the pictures. The pillows were awesome and the bed was comfy enough. The alcoholic beverages were awful, awful, awful. They were extremely watered down and quite frankly a huge disappointment. The choices were extremely limited and what they offered was not good at all--not even the margaritas. The food was okay at the two buffet halls that we frequented----and as with every other review--we couldn't get a reservation at Careyes or Benazuza the nicer restaurants on the property--as they were booked well in advance. The Italian restaurant--La Trattoria was horrible--the food was undercooked and flavorless. We ended up leaving the restaurant and going to eat at the buffet hall--which is where ate for the rest of our stay. There's a lot of walking and a lot of little bridges throughout the property so wear comfortable shoes. The pool was nice and clean, but there wasn't really an adults-only area. We had no trouble finding lounge chairs and if you sit away from the swim-up bar, they do have poolside servers offering drinks--but again, watered-down versions of any alcoholic beverage requested. To get to the beach get ready to go down a huge set of stairs -- the water was very choppy, but if you like the waves like I do, then you'll definitely enjoy the beautiful blue-green water. If you booked your stay with JetBlue Vacations --as we did -- and you added the free transportation (Insider Experience) be sure to schedule your departure well in advance (3 days) or you will have to pay for a taxi to take you to the airport because they will not pick you up nor answer their phone. Also, have your info handy when you arrive at their bus/taxi pick-up location as you're going to need it to even get on the bus to be taken to your hotel. All in all a big disappointment--so I'm glad we only booked a 4-day/3 night mini vacation. We made the best of it and it was nice to get away, but we will definitely not be returning to this property.

After the trip to Cancun, I felt exhausted. Marriott's magical operation was beyond my understanding. I booked a Club 91 King Room for the first night, and the second night renewal fee increased by 1,500, and I changed to a Seaview Deluxe King Room:
1) I booked a Seaview Deluxe King Room, but found it was a twin room when I checked in, and it was very humid. I didn't bother to ask the front desk to change it;
2) Club 91 offers a free SPA, but when I made an appointment, I was told that it was just a hand, which lasted for about a few minutes, without the body. I enjoyed it for nothing, but the hand was not needed;
3) When checking out, I checked out the Seaview Room first. The list showed 6 lines including room fee and various taxes, all on the bill. Fortunately, I could speak some English, so I asked the front desk one more question. They said that I had already paid other fees except the resort fee on Ctrip, so why did I have to pay? Then I checked;
4) When I settled the Club 91 bill again, the amount I had paid was not on the bill, but there was an additional mini bar consumption. I was so busy that day that I only drank 2 bottles of free water in the room, and then I checked again;
5) I asked the hotel how many pesos it would cost if I could help call a taxi to the airport? The reply was 700. I happened to see a taxi driver waiting for passengers. I asked him and he said 500, so I got in the car without hesitation.
6) I forgot a beloved dress in the room when I checked out. After I left, I found out that I forgot to call the hotel again. They said they didn’t see it. They swore that the dress was only worn in the hotel and never left the hotel lobby. I asked for a day, but they still said no. I still feel sad.
Looking back, I don’t know if these are pitfalls or coincidences?
The hotel front desk and Club 91 staff are very friendly, and the facilities, environment, outdoor swimming pool, and exclusive beach are all good.

Hotel service is very good. The staff all greet you with a smile and are professional.
Even though I am not fluent in English or Spanish, they made quite an effort to understand what I was saying.
It's impressive that room service is available 24 hours a day, and they always check for allergies.
There are sufficient amenities. Meals can also be reserved through the hotel app, which is very convenient and friendly.
One side of the hotel has not yet been completed, but the future of the hotel is promising. They run a shuttle to the beach club with a view of the Caribbean Sea, and they are friendly there too.
I hope that if you can take a golf cart from the hotel to the bus stop, it will be easier to get around the hotel zone above or by bus downstairs.
I'm going to have a good rest.

GGuest UserI’m writing this review from this stunning hotel in Cancun. If you need some couples time, this is the best place! Nizuc hotel and spa in Cancun Mexico. From where to begin, we took the penthouse with private pool in the room. Hubs booked a package with following services. The view is unbelievable! They are super nice. The spa and hydrotherapy are included in our reservation. The massage therapists offered us variety of services, including aromatherapy, hot stone massage, deep tissue followed by an hour of hydratherapy which is an amazing experience in itself! From hot steam room, sauna, to ice cold water, to hot stone bed, to scalp and foot massage all included in our package. We also kayaked and enjoyed the adults only pool. The bar is suBmerged in water. Pretty cool! Now talking about food. It’s amazing 😍 indochime, Peruvian restaurant and morning buffet (which was included in our package). The service, the food is literally out of the world. If you’re staying in a penthouse you get a private butler. Now the cost, it’s on pricier side, but since we were doing only 2 nights for my milestone bday we indulged🙈. It ended up costing us 1900$/night for 2 nights including everything. But we really enjoyed. It was an unforgettable experience! — at Nizuc Resort and Spa.

GGuest User*long review* short version. One of the best hotels we have stayed in. Customer service is top notch. Will go back. My wife and I got married there this past weekend and our experience was nothing short of spectacular. This sentiment is echoed by all of our friends and family that attended. We initially signed the wedding package contract with the Ritz Carlton so we had a few trepidations when we heard the news about Kempinski. Though we know of the brand's presence in Europe, we have never stayed in any of their properties. But since we didn't want to go through a another round of searching and negotiations with other properties, we decided to go ahead with it knowing, at least, that the hotel will be beautiful and well-staffed due to their Ritz Carlton roots. It was the best decision we made. From our first step onto their property to the last step heading back home, we were treated like royalty. They made us feel like we were the only guests in the hotel. In fact, my young niece shed a tear on the last day because she had so much fun and didn't want to leave. Our main contact was Jessica Perez, who coordinated our wedding and made sure that everything was in place and things ran smoothly. The front desk, bellhops and the concierge were all on point as were the cleaners, gym, pool and beach staff and servers. I do have to mention that wait staff for our reception were some of the best we have encountered, I didn't catch all their names but I do have to mention that Efrain and Alvaro of the Fantino restaurant ran things perfectly during the reception dinner. The hotel itself is very charming, which is often the code for ”old” and ”dated”, but in this case, we mean it to say that it is characterized by traditional elements (as opposed to modern). The furniture, fixtures and carpeting are more on the ornate and indulgent side, which gives the hotel a lot of character. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The sheets are of very high quality and the bed is comfortable. We also had a great balcony overlooking the beach. Some of the bathroom fixtures could use a slight upgrade but everything works and the water pressure was good (this is an important item for me). I have read some reviews about the price of their food. Was it expensive? Yes it was but no more than what is available in the area. But the food was quite good and a few of their dishes were really delicious Pretty much all of the restaurants in the resort zone charge US prices for food. You want cheap food? Don't stay in the resort zone. or go to the minimart down the street from the hotel where they sell 6 tacos for 99 pesos. They have a number of swimming pools and happy hour at 4 pm (2 for 1 margaritas). Towels are freely available and there is a section on the beach where they set up chairs (free) and tents (for a fee) for use. The gym is decent for a hotel and you can actually get in a good workout. Lastly, the customer service. I do think this is where the Ritz Carlton h

XXiaoleitongzhiRAYThis is the third hotel to experience in Cancun. The sea view is invincible, and there will be some black disgusting things coming out of the jacuzzi on the balcony. But everything else is okay, the food is very general, the service is general, there are various extra paid items, there is always a feeling of not giving you a good service without tipping. The beach is still relatively tied, and there are many water plants. The bed was always tide, and the pillow smelled of brain oil. The same price is much better than this.

AAnonymous UserHotel facilities, health, service and views are very good. There are three restaurants that require reservations. Among them, the French restaurant has Michelin standards, and the service staff are warm and professional. Butler service and room service also allow guests to lie flat in the room.

DDenisHotel is located at the north east point of Cancun *****, which allows to have an access to the beach at the northern side as well as at the eastern side. Both of the beaches are hidden from big waves by the piers. Turquoize suites are spacious and well maintained with an amazing view of the sea. Hotel territory is big enough for walks around it. Sea view from different spots is really beautiful. Hotel has several pools so that the clients can choose one suitable for them. There are several restaurants and bars in the hotel as well, which brings some diversity of options. Hotel staff is very friendly and polite. Service is really good. Overall nice impression of the hotel. Turquoize suite also has a separate building, which is more quiet and a separate swimming pool with a good view of the sea. Definitely recommend this hotel to all sorts of visitors. The only thing that can be better is the food. I would give 4 points out of 5 for the food, it can be more delicious and special as well as the cocktails in the bars, but maybe it’s because of the “all inclusive” type of the service.

EEmily_pealWhen I checked in, the front desk upgraded me to a sea view room in the middle and high-end area. I looked out to a whole jelly blue scenery. It was so eye-catching. After staying there for a few days, I felt that I was no longer short-sighted. All restaurants in the hotel are good. Except for the Japanese restaurant, I went to all the others. They all exceeded my expectations. They were delicious and the service was attentive. I particularly recommend the Isla Contoy restaurant on the seaside. The view is amazing. It’s so relaxing to enjoy the view while enjoying the sea breeze while eating. The hotel also unexpectedly provided free round-trip ferry tickets to Isla Mujeres, and a dedicated person accompanied us on the boat. The service was very considerate. In short, this hotel is very cost-effective. I observed that all its rooms face the sea, but some angles are different. Unlike some hotels that have garden view rooms, although the decoration and facilities of the rooms are quite old. , but it does not affect the check-in experience at all. It's just that the beach is relatively humid, so it would be better if it had a dehumidifier.

何何尝无关风月The room is very spacious and the bed is very big. There are too many varieties of fruits for breakfast.
There are eight restaurants for dinner. We ate Thai food, which was very appetizing.
The service is very good. Except for the cold at the front desk, the other Mexican employees really work hard and feel that they should be tipped.

RRakeshjyotisalesStayed 5 nights. Very lively and party vibes. Food is average buffet is horrible like canteen food. Staff is good. If you tip well they remember your choice of food and drinks. Cocktail are good. If you want to relax then not a good choice but if you want party 16 hours constantly then it is right choice. Advise to management pls improve food quality and variety and room amenties

圣圣贝纳迪诺杨玄感We ordered a studio with a kitchen. It ’s very convenient to cook. There is tableware. There is also a washing machine with a dryer. If you live a few days you can cook by yourself. It ’s very convenient. The hotel has a beautiful beach infinity pool. The opposite is Shopping mall, take a bus at the entrance of 12 pesos, one stop per person can go to a large supermarket and a lively market, if you have the opportunity to go again, you should choose this one

GGuest UserThoroughly enjoyed my stay from the moment I arrived with private concierge check in and services. Special dinners in the White Room and excellent service by both Luis’, the host and the chef who provided my companion and I with a truly memorable meal experience in comfortable and quiet surroundings. Beautiful beach and views, will highly recommend. Good value as well!
