Princess Sun Hotel

The hotel is great and we enjoyed a lot our time here. The staff at the bars and restaurant is extremely friendly and very attentive. The food was very good and very tasty. The reception staff very helpful and always smiling. Our room had pool view and exceeded our expectations. Animation team is fantastic, trying to engage everyone around the pool, adults and children, in all the fun activities. Mini disco was amazing for the little ones. You can always find sunbeds available at the pool. Overall we had a great time and I recommend this hotel without a doubt.

Lovely hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. We arrived late and had sandwiches, drinks and fruit left in the fridge for us. Balcony was big with partial sea view. Pools and areas was clean and plentiful. Slides not masssive but big enough for both younger children and preteens id say. Floats were allowed in the pool too. Food in main restaurant was pretty good for AI. Lots of choice, live cooking stations, food terrace was nice to sit out on. Bar was good as were available drinks. Pool bar was a bit slow service, food at the pool snack bar was great We used the provided bus service to take us to sister hotel and beach. Food here was really good too and bar service was good. Lots of beds available on the beach. The hotel is quite far from airport so was a lengthy transfer but we didn't mind really. Hill up and down from the hotel is quite steep but we found it manageable. We never went to see any entertainment purely our choice, kids were mostly shattered in the evenings. Son joined in day time activities such as football he really enjoyed this, staff were friendly and fun We accessed the spa on check out day for showers, clean and adequate, you get them to yourself with towels provided when you book a time slot. We would return here for as more quieter relaxing holiday

Don’t listen to the bad reviews about food the food in this hotel was amazing we’ve been to many all inclusive hotels and this is by far one of the best the food was very tasty with more than enough choice if you have fussy children there’s always a choice of pizza pasta chips fish fingers or chicken nuggets our children did try a lot of the other food and enjoyed it ! we couldn’t fault any meals we had very tasty ! The hotel is lovely we had a family room with sea view ( which was upgraded when we got there ) the room was very spacious and the balcony was massive. We arrived very late and there was sandwiches and fruit in the fridge when we got to our room which was nice 👌 Entertainment team was very good with everyone and very friendly always coming round for a chat with the kids and us The shuttle to the beach was lovely the drivers were wonderful and the beach bar was great too ! The only thing I would say is the pool bar needed more staff Camilla was wonderful and so hard working she didn’t stop and was serving more than one at a time a credit to the hotel ! Would 100% recommend this hotel Thank you for a lovely holiday ! X

Just back from 10 days at Princess Sun. The hotel is beautiful and the staff could not be more friendly or helpful. The shuttle bus to the beautiful beach was excellent and the hotel pools were perfect. My only slight criticism is that despite the food being very, very good I would have preferred to see more fish, shellfish and authentic greek food but I understand that they have to cater to all tastes. I would 100% stay there again and I highly recommend getting the bus to stunning Lindos. It really was an amazing holiday. Special mention for Camilia at the pool bar who is the hardest worker I have ever seen as well as being the most wonderful person! My partner and I both agree that she was a highlight of the holiday and the hotel really need to recognise her.

My wife and I have recently returned from 11 nights at this hotel, what a wonderful time. Positive features include:- Friendly late 2 am check in with porter assistance Fresh rolls and water in fridge awaiting us Modern room, comfy beds with pool and sea view (room 3108) Free safe and tea and coffee facilities Free large beach towels Lots of free sun beds around pool and beach Regular free shuttle service to and from beach Great variety of quality food Local spirits available and plentiful All inclusive fully available until you leave For late check outs luggage storage and bookable showers and towels are available at no cost As having taken numerous 4 star + holidays we found all the staff at this hotel exceptional. We would especially like to mention the attentive restaurant staff, the very efficient bar staff both during the day and evening shift. Have to give a special mention to the young shuttle bus driver who is a credit to this hotel as nothing is too much trouble for him. We were impressed by the entertainment organised by the Pink Wave group especially their evening theatre shows (highly amusing for all ages). The duty manager was very attentive throughout our stay and wished us well on our departure. If you can't manage to visit this lovely hotel certainly come to Rhodes where we found great customer care everywhere we went. Henry and Liz from Bangor Northern Ireland.

When we arrived got to our room there were ants in the room asked at reception if we could move and was told "no we are full" cleaner did come and spray which got rid of them . We were next to reception which was very noisy coaches pulling up constantly . There was nowhere to dry our towels and swimwear . It took us 2 days to get towels as they had ran out. Upstairs above our room sounded like they were rearranging the furniture as so noisy. Cant say I would come back weather was gorgeous

First time to Kiotari, and 3rd time Rhodes. Arrived late 2am and bar staff still offered us a free drink at that time and sandwiches in room fridge. We absolutely cannot fault this hotel. All the staff were so friendly, helpful and hard working, can’t stress that enough. We have stayed in plenty of 5 star hotels and this was a quick last minute break for us, and on paper it’s a 4 star but feels more. The food was varied, tasty and replenished often. We were more than happy with it. The beach bar at the sister hotel is just superb and we are fit so walked down and back every day. The mini bus driver who drove other guests down and up gave us a happy wave all the time. Special mentions to the beach bar gyros and pizza guys, wow so hard working and friendly guys, absolute class. The bar staff at the beach bar were the same. Also the hotel reception staff, pool bar madame (lol) and our favourite two bar men in the main bar were just faultless. We’ve got one criticism get a better/another toaster for breakfast as the lines were too long lol. There were more kids at end of our holiday and they were actually fine (we did take two for years ourselves lol but consider that if you want it quieter). Would come back in a heartbeat.

Myself and my Wife arrived home early hours this morning from a week spent at the Princess Sun for her ‘baby moon’ (yes apparently that’s a thing now) I’ll start with the good things first. The food at the snack bar is decent enough, especially the pizza, but much better down at the beach bar which we enjoyed walking down to each day (then shuttle bus back!). I quite liked the choice of cocktails at the pool bar but be aware that there is a bigger selection than is actually made aware for you on the menu (I.e. pina colada). Camelia behind the bar was also very nice, attentive and a really hard worker! We stayed in a family sea view room which had great views and a sizeable balcony. The views from the pool over the sea are amazing also amazing and the sun beds plentiful. Moving onto the things that left a little bit to be desired… The food and drink for evening dinner/tea (depending on if you’re northern like us) was really poor. Not only in quality but also in selection. So much so that we only eat in there twice and eat out for the rest of our evening meals, which is not really what you want or budget for when you pay for all inclusive. The breakfast was also a little bit mehh and be prepared to wait for the toaster! As someone else has mentioned below the standard of cleanliness in the room wasn’t amazing. There was a dummy left in our draw, there was quite a bit of dust in the room and in the balcon. The pool area could do with a good mopping after each day! The reception and sun beam bar area is definitely underwhelming given that it’s your first impression of the hotel when you walk in. We didn’t indulge in the spa and gym facilities but they looked to be ok. I was torn between a 3 or 4 star rating for experience but it’s all relative to what you pay. I still think it was reasonable value for money therefore I leant with 4 however my personal opinion that this is a 3 star hotel. Especially when you consider that the Rodos princess sister hotel which we stayed in last year is also a 4 star hotel with much better facilities.

Just arrived home from this hotel. We were supposed to stay for 2 weeks but ended up extending our holiday for an extra 4 days. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed ourselves. From the rooms to the pool to the snack bar all were perfect. Rooms were spacious and at first we had a family garden view room which was great as the kids could play outside while relaxing in the room before heading out. We then changed to a family sea view when we extended our holiday and wow what a view with a good sized balcony. We ended up eating at the beach bbq restaurant most nights because the food and the atmosphere was amazing. You could sit right by the sea and eat your dinner in a nice chilled out atmosphere and the kids played on the beach while we finished our wine. Special thanks to the animation team as they made our holiday they all went out of way to get involved with the families and the energy that they have is unbelievable and we made special friends with them. Cosimo , Luca , Barbara all of them were so friendly and great with the kids as well as having a good laugh with the adults. Currently looking at coming back in September again.
