Keio Plaza Hotel Tokyo offers a luxurious and comfortable stay in the heart of Japan's bustling capital. Boasting a prime location in Shinjuku, this hotel provides easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment. Also, it is walking distance to various lines making traveling easier. The hotel is 34 storey high. The panoramic views from higher floors with the huge window, especially overlooking the iconic Mount Fuji from a distance makes it a memorable stay. There are also dining places at Keio Plaza Hotel offering Japanese, international, and fusion cuisine. There is also a convenience store at level 2 that close at 2am for those who want to get some small bites, snacks or drinks. It is huge and because it’s located in the hotel, shelves are pretty filled up. The hotel's facilities, include a well-equipped fitness center and a relaxing pool (didn’t get to try as it is winter). The attention to cleanliness and maintenance throughout the property adds to the sense of comfort and well-being. There is also 2 in 1 washing machine with dryer at L18 at the south tower for usage starting from 500yen, depending on what the features you would like it to be, best of all, it comes with detergent. However, once inside the hotel, guests can enjoy a serene and tranquil escape. Kadoya Hotel

Shinjuku Area Tokyo|6.55km from city center
4.5 stars! My spouse, son, and I have previously stayed at Kadoya in December 2019. I was delighted with our most recent stay in February 2023. Last time, I booked a triple bed room. This time I booked a ”Fourth Standard - 2 king beds (Universal Design Type -B” room. What a terrific room. The tv set was massive! Even I had to grin at the size of the tv screen. There was a ledge behind the bed which was convenient to put cups on during our evening beverages. We also used the ledge to place our cellphones on overnight as they charged. Ample electrical plugs. The room has a small fridge to keep drinks cool. A microwave is located in the laundry room. The laundry room also has two washing machines and two dryers. All coin operated. There is also a vending machine in the laundry room. Handrails in the shower/tub of the bathroom much appreciated. Staff at Kadoya that I encountered were very pleasant and helpful. I requested front desk staff to kindly print out documents and they did so without hesitation. Housekeeping staff is friendly and promptly brought me towels and extra wooden hangers when requested. Daily housekeeping service. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash all had a pleasant fragrance. We were provided with feather-free pillows and feather-free duvets given our allergies. Room was clean. Ample space for 4 luggages. Excellent location. Close to Shinjuku station. Several dining options nearby. Pharmacy nearby. 24 hour Lawson convenience store next door. Another Lawson across the street. Travel tip: We arrived at Kadoya using the Airport Limousine Bus which departed from Narita. I chose the Keio Plaza Hotel instead of the Shinjuku stop as it is closer to Kadoya. Get off at the Keio Plaza stop and walk through the lobby. Leave the Keio Plaza hotel and walk 2 blocks to Kadoya. When going to Narita, in order to get to Narita quicker I booked the Airport Limousine Bus to depart from Shinjuku as the earliest bus leaving from Keio Plaza hotel was not early enough for me. Catch the bus from Bus Stop 23 located right in front of the Airport Limousine Bus ticketing office, to the left of Keio department store. Currently, Airport Limousine Bus routes and schedules are reduced. All in all a pleasant stay at Kadoya!

I rated average for cleanliness was because it was dirty, but the tatami straws seems to be falling into pieces. Everything your cloths dropped unto the floor, the fabric would pick up some pieces or dust balls. Staffs are kind and friendly. But take note that you will be locked out from 12 midnight to 6am every night. Room is definitely spacious. Good for family. Yoyogi station at doorstep. Macdonald next door. Tully coffee 2 doors away. National Botanic Garden 15mins away by wall. Takashimaya 15mins away. If you get a good price, its worth a stay. Breakfast was fairly basic; bread, butter, hard boiled egg, jelly yogurt, typical Japanese black coffee.

Whether it is the staff in the store or the guests we met in the store, they are all very friendly, and during the two or three days we stayed, the rest was quite satisfactory. The room looked really warm, and It's also quite comfortable. Air conditioning is available, hot water is available all day, and there is no wireless network, but the daily Internet is fairly convenient, but you have to wait until 5:00 pm to check in.

We stayed 2 nights in Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku and checked out & left our bigger luggages at the hotel conceige as we would like to travel light to other city to visit our friend (staying in Japan) for 2 nights. We came back to stay again with Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku after the short trip. There are also storages at Subway/train station with fee charges apply to store your luggage according to the sizes and storage duration. Photos (for your reference only) provided are the storage with fee charges located opposite road of Keio Department Store at Shinjuku station.

If I could give -100000 stars I would. Felt like I was in a horror movie. Will have nightmares about this place. The worst building I have set foot in in my life. I actually felt petrified. Rust-filled bathroom. No proper fire escape. Fallen-apart furniture as decor. Paint peeling everywhere. Is this a warehouse?? Not only that, when requesting to shorten our stay here to a single night after seeing the unliveable conditions, they refused to refund the stay at all for the remaining nights even when told the health and safety concerns we had about staying here. STAY AWAY FROM THIS GROSS NIGHTMARE OF A PLACE. SAVE YOURSELF THE HASSLE AND BOOK ANYTHING ELSE.
