Bajawa is devoid of good category hotels. This is a family hotel, the family living in an adjoining house. 7 rooms are distributed in the building. Ours, on the second floor, was large, simple, very clean, uncluttered, with decent bedding. The bathroom was ok, with hot water and a good spray. Has very good quality wifi in our room (rare on Flores). The family is very welcoming and accommodating. Meals, well cooked, are taken on the terrace overlooking the city - which otherwise has no particular charm. The place is calm, and we are awakened by the singing of the mosque followed by the bells of the church, all accompanied by the crowing of roosters which take turns. This is all very pleasant. The five stars are deserved, taking into account the type of accommodation, the value for money, the welcome, etc., even if we are not within the usual European standards, which here would hardly make sense. A very good address
