The worst hotel experience during the National Day trip to Xinjiang. I checked in on September 29th. The weather was very good that day. It felt hot outdoors in the afternoon. When I checked in at 4 o'clock, the temperature in the room was relatively high. The air conditioner was turned on and it didn't cool down. I called the front desk and asked about arrangements. Someone came to fix it (actually they didn't come), but they didn't tell the hotel that the air conditioner was no longer available. When I passed by the hotel lobby at night, I heard that many people in the tour group were complaining about the heat, so the hotel said that the air conditioner had been suspended and would be turned on again immediately. Then the room temperature became more comfortable after the air conditioning was restored on the first day. Early the next morning, I found that the air conditioner was no longer available. At 7 a.m., the indoor temperature was 34 degrees (as shown in the picture). I asked the front desk to tell them that the air conditioner had stopped again. Considering that the room would be hotter during the day and frequent communication would be troublesome, I chose to check out early. Change the room to a hotel. The price of the hotel I changed to was half that of Kas. It had 24-hour air conditioning and the room was very clean and quiet. In summary, Cass is not cost-effective. Turpan has a large temperature difference between day and night in September and October. Please be careful when choosing a hotel that does not provide air conditioning. However, I would like to commend the hotel front desk for its good service attitude. I am very satisfied with the consultation answers and early check-out handling. I would also like to give special praise to Ctrip. Assisted with early check-out and recommended new hotels to me. The service was timely and the attitude was good. I recommend Ctrip!

Easily one of the top two or three guesthouse experiences I’ve had traveling China over the past decade. While it’s certainly on the higher end of the price spectrum, you definitely get what you pay for and more. The level of detail is immaculate: given how hot and dry Turpan is, they give you as much bottled water you need & leave hydrating facial masks in your room every day. Also, shoutout to the beds—one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on in China—and Japanese toilet. The facilitates and service touches are on par with the best luxury hotel brands which probably go for twice the price or more. But ultimately the people and location are what make this place special. Everyone from the owner to the cleaning staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I ran into the owner at a restaurant and he bought me dinner and introduced me to some local dishes I would have never known to order. The location is 🍇 valley. It’s a quaint little grape producing village with friendly locals and amazing fruit. All in all, Bafeng Retreat is a special place that is perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to unwind and take life slowly. Highly recommended.

After arriving, the hotel front desk upgraded our room from an ordinary twin room to a deluxe standard room. The room was large and well-equipped. This is where we have stayed since we left on September 19th. The best room is completely above the standard room standard for business trips and meetings. The price is not high. There are large parking lots in the front and back yards of the hotel. The security guard is very responsible and guides parking. My wife left the room door open when she went downstairs to get something from the car. The door immediately sounded an alarm, and the security guard immediately ran over to ask what was going on. Unexpectedly, it completely subverted my view of Turpan, it is simply an oasis in the desert! This homestay is my best experience in Xinjiang! The boss is really working hard. Different from previous homestays, first of all, the bath water is very large, hot and abundant. Unlike other homestays, where a water heater is installed in the room, washing one hair is not enough, and the next person has to wait for half an hour. Secondly, the air conditioner is very powerful. It has long been known that the temperature in Turpan is not comparable to the high temperature of an ordinary city. If the air conditioner doesn't work well, or the card needs to be plugged in to get electricity, how can this make people live? Third, the sanitary conditions are also very good. Every time I stay in a homestay, I am worried about not changing the sheets and duvet covers at all. This house watched the waiters change it, including the drying in the backyard. The location is also excellent, just in the second scenic spot of Putaogou, the grape rack is in front of the room, and the snow mountain canal is to the north. The boss also arranged a car to pick up and drop off. After entering the door, we will give us a pot of freshly picked grapes to eat before we check in. The level of the restaurant chef is also quite good, definitely not the level of the farmer's cooking that is just fooled by the family. In the evening, take a walk on the trail outside to see the grape drying room. It is very cool and doesn't sweat at all. I originally thought that I would never come to Turpan again in my life, because with this homestay, I think I must come again if I have a chance. Also, shoutout to the beds—one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on in China—and Japanese toilet. The facilitates and service touches are on par with the best luxury hotel brands which probably go for twice the price or more. But ultimately the people and location are what make this place special. Everyone from the owner to the cleaning staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. I ran into the owner at a restaurant and he bought me dinner and introduced me to some local dishes I would have never known to order. The location is 🍇 valley. It’s a quaint little grape producing village with friendly locals and amazing fruit. All in all, Bafeng Retreat is a special place that is perfect if you’re looking for somewhere to unwind and take life slowly. Highly recommended.
